Here's some love! I know how important the support can be. It got me through my first round, for sure! So keep up the good work, mama!

I'm mostly protocol, too. I do add more creamer to my coffee, and occasionally hit up the diet mt dew - I've learned the hard way that caffeine withdrawal is no joke, so when the major headaches hit, I hit back.

Here's to a good weekend for everyone!

use an online calorie counter to track how many calories you eat! i can't stress how important this is. for me, i didn't lose much until my 3rd week (when i started using the calorie calculator). i'm not allowed to say which one i use on here for some reason but i really love it because its a huge database of foods people have already entered. there's also a daily weigh in that graphs your progress too!

i drink 4 cups of coffee a day. 2 with 2 tbs of fat free half n half and the other 2 cups with 1/4 cup almond milk each (20 calories for 1/2 cup of almond milk)!

i also eat an onion with spinach for lunch/dinner and thats considered mixing veggies i guess.

i still lose doing this.

What do you do with the choco concoction? Sounds Yummo!! Also i thought about getting rid of the fruit and increasing protein between meals. Good losses!!!!

You gotta get a calorie calculator!!! It helps so much!! You can see what veggies on protocol gives u the most bang for you buck. Hot and sweetend tea ( peach, island mango, red raspberry, whatever but caffeine free) KEEPS ME ON PROTOCOL. Its been the best when i want something sweet and its unlimited anyway. I also found gains after drinking right before bed so avoid that as well. It will get better! Were here for ya!!!

For me i did this diet 2 yrs ago and i crashed and failed. For me the homeopathic didnt work but it might for some. This time i ordered mine from an online pharmacy. Hopefully it will work well for me to lose this baby weight!

I drink alot of Passion Fruit tea, the kind from Starbucks, only I make my own with a couple Senna tea packets to keep me 'going'. Its not working though. I also put a smidge of Mio in my water, cause if its fruity I will drink twice as much. I know that I didnt load properly, or dose properly on load day, and now I am screwed. I am going to eat a really fatty dinner and dose before and right before bed, then start fresh tomorrow. DH is off and it will keep me busy and not thinking about food!

Thanks for your support!

I have heard mixed reviews on homeopathics as well. Thanks for your feedback, lisentume. I might try doing a fatty dinner like you, brew crew, and give it one more go. I am so overwhelmed with the whole thought of mixing, etc with rx, but will give it a try if this hunger doesn't subside. I'll never make it through a hungry round, especially not working 60 hours a week like last round.

I am trying to keep my eye on the prize, and keep myself busy, but its sooo hot here, and rainy, I dont have a ton of options for me and the kiddies. I want to lose about 10-15 lbs by Aug.25th for vacation, but I dont know how to get through the day! I am never hungry for breakfast, so thats not the issue, and for lunch I have a shredded lettuce salad with chicken and cucumbers, but mentally it doesnt seem to satisfy me. Its a huge salad, and protein, but my brain keeps telling me to eat more. I know its why I am overweight in the first place, but my willpower is weak. I do really well until dinner time, then I lose it and nibble. I have been tired lately, so going to bed early helps.

Has anyone ever tried an appetite suppressant the first few days? I have some left over from a round of diet pills, and they are fantastic with killing cravings and appetite. Also...what about fiber capsules? They would fill me up, but I dont want to take anything that will screw up the weight loss process. I just need to get through the first 5 days or so, and I will be fine!

I also should add the I live with my inlaws, so I have to cook for my kids, and for DH, and the inlaws. Its a nightmare. This afternoon my FIL made burgers on the grill with these huge yummy brioche buns and chesse and all the yummies and I had romaine lettuce and chicken.

brewcrew- im in hamilton NJ!

anyways.. i'm on homeopathic. my first round. was hungry when i first started but its gotten better. probably cause my stomach shrunk? i'm on VLCD 37. have lost 16 pounds. doesn't sound like much but makes a big difference since i am small.

i found myself thinking/obsessing about food during the afternoon/eves not that i was hungry.. but just cause i wanted to eat.

it gets a little easier i think.

It's supposed to be chilled, but I just dip the spoon & eat. The first time I made it...I woulda licked the bowl but hubby was in the kitchen w/ me It really keeps that sweet/chocolate craving at bay for me.

I've found that eating beef makes me feel more satisfied. I felt kinda hungry this week too, (even i was in the middle of doing my third week) so I just took some more HCG drops. It did the trick.

Sidenote - Today was my cousin's wedding. I didn't pig out or anything, but I'm still dreading to see the scale tomorrow morning, especially after I've lost for the past 3 days.

Crazy pre k teacher: ill have to try that recipe!!

Brew crew: try not to mix your veggies. Eat one per day so u can get an idea on which one makes you gain. Try not to eat the same protein back to back and if u like fish try eating that at night. Fish is a fast diegestible protein compared to chicken and esp. Beef. Are u breastfeeding? If nkt there is a WONDERFUL product called Oxyelitepro that phenomenal. If i werent bf i would be on it and hcg. I just dont know if it would interfere. It completely suppresses appetite and makes you happy..made me happy anyway when i took it before the baby. C yall in the morning!

R1 VLCD 5,
Had a better weight in this am, down 1.4
still feel hungry at times, but like others have mentioned if I 'listen' to my stomach I realize some of the time im not actually hungry. I think its my old habits coming to the surface. I love to snack in front of the tv, not good! At least this diet is making me acknowledge some of my weaknesses. Going to try shrimp for lunch today...hope the scale thinks this is a good idea too!
wishing everyone success

I have been eating fish at night with asparagus, all seasoning (has everything except sugar) sea salt/pep, and lime in a stirfry. Im still experimemting but it seems that fish digests a lot faster than chicken breast and def steak.
