Hi everyone. Busy day, but I just had a moment to check in. Thanks for the welcome to your cozy thread!

Everyone, great losses so far! Very encouraging. I'd love to be sitting with those losses in the next couple of days

I was too afraid to weigh this morning, so I'm not sure how much I gained during my load days. I'm hoping tomorrow will be a tolerable number, because I had a perfect VLCD #1 today. I have that growly, empty feeling going on in my stomach. Oh so familiar...can't wait until I get to the point where that feeling is comfortable and not distracting. I usually get there sometime around VLCD 6-7.

I haven't even looked at the other thread, because I get overwhelmed by too many posters and messages. It's funny, because this is how I am in real-life....an introvert who prefers smaller groups of people!

Of course, I'm totally fine with the double posting, and running over there to check on everyone if it gets too silent here, but I'll probably post my own updates here if that's okay!

Yep Way ok!

I cannot wait for VLCD 6 or 7 myself. Summer always gets me in trouble. Glad it is over so I can deflate! hahaha

Boneless, skinless chicken
Filet mignons (tons of this!)
Cod filets
Eggs
Ground sirloin
Shrimp
Crab legs
Lobster
Fresh broccoli
Salad greens
Sliced strawberries and apples in my freezer pkgs
Lemons and tons of water bottles
Friendly condiments, kcups galore, smooth tea, vitamins and treated myself to a Prosonic and some fancy hair stuff to beautify while doing this.

My dd gets married 10/27 and I am putting off selecting my gown until 2 weeks prior or so. I'm determined but my bf is a terrible influence and will challenge me to cheat Good news is that he's got a trip planned for the first week in October and he wants to lose a few so I will insist on cooking dinners rather than dining out and he can go out alone if that is not acceptable
Niceto see you!! Glad to lose together again!

I'm not an introvert, but like our little group. I'll check in over there too, but will start here

I'm still on my staycation!! Loving it!! Scale was way up yesterday, but staring to head back down today. Way out of window, kinda loading all weeK . I'll do VLCD1 either Sun or Mon. Actually looking forward to it!

Buttah-hope the hunger has subsided. It usually takes me a few days too.

dawn, chantel, lemon, winders, and anyone else I forgot! Hope you're feeling strong! I'll be there soon. I'm only planning a short round, so I'm stAying here even though my start day was pushed back a week! You'll all be way ahead of me.

Awesome start! I too am down. Dropped 6.6 so far. I have a terrible cold and sore throat and thought for sure the cold meds would stop me from losing but so far, so good. Hope we get more good reports.

Julie,
enjoy your week long loading! hahaha ( been there)

I am eating a lot of fish this round. I wrap it in foil and cook it on the George Foreman Grill. No mess. Easy

When you guys say you're down X pounds, do most of you include the load weight? Or do you count from your pre-load weight?

Hunger was still there yesterday, but not all day - mostly an hour or two before meals and in the later evening. And I was up too late, which didn't help. Then woke up too early.

I seem to feel better after my morning injection, but it could be the coffee as well.

Today is VLCD5. For those who have to wait for the hunger to go away, how long does it usually take?

Down .7 today. Can't complain. I think some SM tea is in order, though, as I feel backed up. So tomorrow might be better. The first few days of losses make you greedy!

I love the small group too! Really fun to chat with people you've done this before with too. LOL and the restarters. Guess because its easy to relate to. I was such a quick loser the first time that I don't think I truly understood how this could be a hard plan to do but now I get it.

I hope you're having a fun staycation! I just booked a bunch of rooms using a groupon for my dd's wedding. Scottsdale really has some awesome resorts. Enjoy your week of loading and have a little something for me too

Fantastic results! I'm curious about the fish. Do you just season, wrap in foil and put on the grill? for how long? sounds like a really easy way to cook a nice meal. i love veggies on the foreman too with a splash of garlic infused vinegar.

I went by my Monday weight because I hadn't been weighing. So mine is after the load but I'm not a big loader so probably was not up much from before the load. LOL..does that answer your question

i'm down 1.7 today! yippeeeee. So, 4.7 so far, I'll take it! and dare I say that I can already see my stomach flattening? thank goodness! I was starting to feel like I looked like I was wearing an innertube around my middle. Ugh. That is a horrible feeling. You'd think that alone would have made me recommit but nope! lol. Oh well, I'm on board now so that's what matters.
Here's todays menu:
sirloin patty with broccoli and frozen strawberries
grilled filet mignon, grilled romaine with garlic and lemon with frozen apple slices. Water, water water and more water plus a club soda with lemon, vitamins, continued use of my new prosonic and doing my nails. LOL. It helps me to have little self care projects while I'm waiting on my drops to take effect.

Hi All!!

Since you're all still posting here I will too!

I gained 8lbs from loading (I'm so mad at myself for over doing it)

After VLCD 1 I'm down 2.8 lbs so I still have a ways to go just to get rid of that.

I'm still 2lbs over my LIW window which is frustrating since I was maintaining so well before. But hopefully tomorrow I'll be down another 2-3 lbs and then I can start to really LOSE again!

Also, I"m finding myself more hungry then I did when I did this the first time. Hopefully that will pass soon.

Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning Reddy, glad the scale took a nice drop! Bet tomorrow will be another nice loss and you'll be well on your way. I was hungry yesterday for awhile and don't recall experiencing that the first time around either. Just told myself that this too would pass and went to bed early in hopes of a beautiful scale day.

On track with you--I am on my VLCD#3 and down 2 lbs today. I am so happy for this weight coming off so quickly. I figure that it came on so quickly, in such a short time it should come off quickly too. Not too long ago (just a couple of weeks) I was smaller than I am now and my body wants to get back there fast. Whew!

Yay!!! Let me tell you that it is truly tempting being around food all day at work, then all day at home. I have 4 kids that love to eat--and eat all the wrong things I just wish I could hold up myself in a little room somewhere while on P2 so I don't encounter such temptations, but no Have to cook for the whole darned family! You are one lucky chick I am glad we have another 40 day rounder here.

I'm local!! I'd come!!! I need an island like approach when in P2. dh will be away for almost half this round! that's a big relief!!

Eating a bit high today. Gonna grill steaks and burgers at the resort tonight. I'll reheat them the next few nights and lunches. That'd make it easy, fast and legal . I'll prob try for a steak day (2mini) tomorrow. Itd be nice to get closer to the window before VLCD1!!

Thank you! I hope so! I really want to get back AT LEAST to my LIW so I can feel like I'm truly LOSING lbs and hitting "virgin territory" for HCG.

I really am hungry today> I am thinking I'll take the Raspberry Keytones I was taking in P3 to help but I'm hoping I'll hit that place where I am not even remotely interested in food like I was last time. That was a great feeling. It was nice to feel empowered and not controlled by food!

How is your Staycation going Julie?

Careful with over doing it loading. I'm having MAJOR regrets for loading for more than the normal 2 days!! I feel like I sabotaged myself.

Honestly though, the food you're eating doesn't sound bad. And if you're doing a CD you'll be fine I'm sure!

Looking forward to having you in P2 with me!!!!!

Well, my food is done for the day - I try to cut off by 6:00. Do you all cut off your food or is that too restrictive?

Walkingwoman...yes, start an HCG resort! Too funny. And on the fish, I season before I cook. About 340 degree for 5 minutes (give or take).

I have not been weighing either so I used my first VLCD weight. It is easier for me too. I keep an Excel spreadsheet for all my ebbs and flows as I go along.

Hopefully my sore throat and cough will be gone so I can get off the meds.

Hi all....keep up the great work.

Stevie, I am going to start having dinner before 6 too and call the kitchen closed. My bf sometimes gets here late due to his job and I usually wait to make dinner but um, nope. No more. lol..Yes, I really am mean

Change of dinner plans. Since bf is running late he is bringing Jimmy John's. I'm getting the Turkey unwich with extra lettuce and tomatoes with mustard. Simple, inexpensive and no dishes Seems like the perfect p2 food since the turkey is actually turkey, not some fakey deli meat.

Yes, and brush your teeth too. That helps! lol

I can get away with Columbia low sodium deli turkey. Love it.
I can eat a lot of mustard on p2!! hahaha

And I saw your post about marinating cukes in vinegar. Me too!! I chop up a lot of cukes, soak them in a container for all week. They keep very well actually.

I also just cleaned up 4 huge bunches of radishes. Those are so easy to take in your purse on outings.

Must keep planning! If we don't, we are unprepared.

I made radishes in the crockpot with a lean roast last round Couldn't believe how good the radishes were but tried them out after someone on our thread posted about them. Yowsa, those are tasty. Hmm.. may have to add those to my menu for next week. Thanks for the reminder.

Reddy, hunger is gone today for me. I changed my drops dosage because my drops say 6x6 and I used them last restart and didn't make it past a few days so decided to try 12 drops x3 and today is a whole different world for me. Truth be told, I could skip dinner but won't because my calories are so low for the day already, let alone cutting more. Nice problem to have What's the deal with the ketones? what do they do?

Do you not watch Dr Oz??!! I am shocked Every time he features a product on his show it is near impossible to find. I tried the Raspberry ketones and they did nothing for me. Neither did the coffee bean extract. Geesh I am such a sucker for new supplements

So glad to hear your hunger is gone. And I"m jealous. I was ravenous a few minutes ago. I never experienced that ONCE on R1. I was reading through the recipe thread so that probably triggered it. Luckily I had half my celery left from Lunch so I just ate that and I feel ok now. A hot cup of Chai is also hitting the spot.

I do Injections so I can't really change the dose but what's interesting is that when I got the stuff this time I was concerned that the water seemed like a lot. Like you have to mix the HCG in with the Water and I thought to myself that it seemed like more water than last time. So it's possible that last time the mix was more concentrated with HCG? Not sure but not much I can do now so hopefully the hunger will subside SOON!

Crazy Pre K Teacher told me about Raspberry Keytones when I was struggling in P3. They help supress the appetite and they really work. At least they did for me. Sorry they did nothing for you Dawn. Could have been the ones you bought? I believe they are often used in P2 so I may give the HCG one more day and if I'm still experiencing a lot of hunger, I'm going to start them. (look into it they are pretty amazing)

I usually eat my last thing around 8 or 9. I save my fruit for an evening snack. I couldn't stop eating at 6. I'd be too hungry> Bordem hunger mostly lol.

Oh also, I am also worried that it's not working as well this time b/c last time I was FREEZING for the first week. This time I don't feel cold at all. I remember reading that the being cold was a side effect that means it's working b/c it's resetting the hypothalomous or whatever.

Wow, this thread was hopping today! I'm in the middle of a MASSIVE freelance writing project due Friday, so I'll probably be a little quiet for these next few days. Great to see some familiar faces and to read about the excellent losses!

As for me, I'm at the end of VLCD 2. I'm pretty sure I dropped 3-4 pounds yesterday (from my load weight), but I'm not sure exactly because I was too afraid to weigh on Load Day 2! Either way, I lost all of the load weight, so I will be glad to see the scale go down, down, down. I'm hoping the lack of sleep won't mess with my losses, because I'm going to be burning the midnight oil until Friday when this project is finished!

Oh, and Reddy, I wanted to mention to you that I was freezing during my first round, but was not cold at all during my second round, and I lost just as well the second round!

No loss today. But that is OK because I have dropped a lot thus far. I am so happy!!! Just going to keep on keeping on. I also don't feel as cold as I normally do when I do P2. But I am also taking my thyroid medicine. All those rounds that I felt cold I wasn't on them. So I am not sure if it is because I have that med in my system that makes me not freezing on P2---that is my norm though. I freeze just being still LOL. I don't normally ever feel hot or even comfortable. I wear sweaters or carry a light jacket year round. Maybe this is a good thing, meaning my thyroid is working! I would love that.
