Yep, good times I wonder whatever happened to Sassy and to the two lovely ladies that lived in Las Vegas? Haven't seen them post in eons.

Do any of you use coconut oil for your skin, etc. while doing hhcg? I've been using babyoil but wondering about going to coconut since i'm almost out and have some of that from the 'omg, coconut crack' days.

I make it on the stove and the cabbage softens some but still has a crunch, which I like and I think it makes me feel like I'm eating more. I cook the stock till it starts to simmer, then add the cabbage and maybe 3 or 4 minutes? then toss in the chicken and it's good to go in 2 minutes or so.

Ok thanks. It's pretty similar to what I made or cabbage soup except I put in a bit of ginger and haven't tried it with chicken...

Shh, don't tell anyone but I use a smidge on me. I use just a tad for my underarms. I don't want to stink at work, so I use just the every so slightly tiny amount I can get away with and then put on my deodorant. I then add just a small smidge around my eyes (trying to unwrinkle them, yanno) But that is IT!!! No more than a small smidge (or 2). I use some lotion that is mineral oil based on my elbows because they seem to be really dry.

I use coconut oil on my hair and face, and btw, the dietician and doctor at my clinic say it's fine - just like mineral oil - does not absorb into the skin like other oils (but as you know, I don't believe the oil theory anyway, and my clinic has confessed that she doesn't either). But either way, coconut oil is fine!

I AM using the HCG-approved Tom's deodorant, though. Doesn't work as well as my regular, but it works well enough.

I had the Dijon Chicken and Cabbage again today. It is BY FAR my favorite dish, and HUGE. I really recommend it. Posted it somewhere.

Hi sweetie...I am "out there" too often! hahhaa..just ask DH!

Looks like our travel plans may change early so I will interrupt and get back to it.

I have been watching Robin's vlogs and it really struck me about P2 and hormones/HCG/leptin. Some really interesting information. Makes me look at P2 so different. Not a "diet" but a hormone activity.

Anywho...DH just got home so best get going.

Crazy week this week...hope to see the Endeavor Shuttle come through town. That will be neat. Sorry they had to cut 400 trees down to get it to its destination but whats done is done!

Be good all

Ding ding ding ding! That's why it's so WRONG to be starving (like Reddy and I were for a while there) and not addressing it, either with a dose change or some amount of food. You're fixing a Leptin problem. It makes so much sense to me when I think about the times I've gained... I was consistently eating when not hungry or eating too much, no matter what it was. There's a video where she's wearing red and using a marker board - that's the one I usually refer people to.

I know it IS hard to keep up sometimes. But it keeps me on the straight and narrow when I am doing a round.

Good Morning Ladies!
I am excited, I have a job interview today and hope to hear about another job tomorrow. Fun to finally have some possibilities in the job arena :-)
I am down 0.4. My scale is sure bouncing and yet not moving, however, I am losing inches, so am not complaining. I think salt may be the culprit, cutting down for the remainder of this round, that may help.
hope you all have a wonderful day!

Winders, congrats on being down .4! At least the scale is moving and in the right direction!

Good luck on your interview! Hope you land something great really soon!

Walking Woman that egg foo young sounds really good! I want to try that! I've never done Eggs in P2 but I might decide to give it a go!

I'm down 1.4 today after my Apple Day so it definitely broke my stall. And doing the apple day wasn't as hard as I expected b/c the HCG is finally working and I'm not having hunger. Could never have done that if I was experiencing hunger!

Going to keep going a little longer to see if I can get closer to my goal before it's all done! Hope you all have a great day!

I don't believe the topical absorption theories so I don't change my lotion/makeup at all during P2 anymore. I'm a rebel Hasn't changed my losses btw. my dry, flaky, scary looking rounds, and now .

Reddy-nice!! Glad the apple day went well. See how the rest of the "round" goes. Dont' worry. You're doing great!!

Buttah- at the "where did I post that" I hear that!! I repeat myself, but that's ok! How're you losing today?

Winders-hope one of those works out!! Nice to have options!!

Stevie-glad you're doing well. Busy crazy lives, but so good!!

WW-I may make some of that soup. Forgot about that. I have some chicken broth in the freezer I made a while back. Thanks!

I gained 0.2 overnight . I did walk 3 miles yesterday w. dd and then played softball for 2 hours last night. Felt like 10 hours!! It was hot and humid (we rarely get humidity and I was sweating the whole time-yuck!). I am a tad sore today and TOM has arrived, so we'll blame that. I was on plan so I know it's just fluctuation. But it still stinks. Last Tuesday (VLCD2) I STS. I'm noticing a Tuesday (day after softball) pattern that isn't a good one . Oh well. I do like playing and I'm committed. So, the water will have to fluctuate .

WOE: HHCG, Round 500 (it feels like it anyway)
Start Date: Feb 2011
Hi everyone--I kind of checked-out for a while and now I'm checking back in. I had a rough start to this round, but I decided I am NOT giving up, so here I am, not down nearly as much as I could've have been, but I feel more focused now than before (at least at this very moment!).

It's encouraging to read that you are all sticking with it! I'm also a big Robin fan, and I was thinking last night that I need to re-watch some of her videos to stay focused. I KNOW hormonal imbalances are the cause for almost all of my primary physical complaints.

Oh, and count me in as one who has used my regular lotions and conditioners since my first round. My hands literally bled during my first round in February 2011, so I knew I couldn't go there again!

Julie--I am certain your uptick was a result of fluid retention. TOM + working out + humidity...it's basically a guaranteed stall, in my experience. It will come off soon. Meanwhile, you are working out and toning those muscles, which is only a good thing!

I am down 0.8 today!!!! Only 13 lbs to go til I reach goal weight. But if I only lose 10 lbs before this round is over, that is A OK in my book. I am so happy !!!!! 10 lbs in 2 weeks is sooo doable.

Hey guys. Question. How many injections are recommended for the longer round? 40, 43, or some other number? I'm confused. I think I'm going to go for it, though. I'm losing that quickly, so the idea of taking a nice stabilization period, then starting again, does NOT appeal to me. I think I can get pretty close to goal if I do the longer round.

But what is the longer round (and no 60 day suggestions, please - not doing that!)? I'm talking about the conventional recommended longer round.

Thanks! I'm not gonna' cheat or change my plan (although the temptation for cream in my coffee this morning was VERY strong!!). I know it's all for the better of me . Just pre-programmed to give that silly scale power over me! Glad you're on track and ready to kick some fat to the curb!! And I'm in the hormonally imbalanced camp as well. Hcg works well for us!

Hey Ladies! I've spent the whole day since 7 AM bridal shopping with dd. LOL. You'd think we'd be finished but just when we think we're getting close we get another idea We're having her wedding here so lots of things that a venue would have already we've had to figure out how to handle it. We've got a fantastic planner, caterer, dj and photographer but want to tackle a lot of stuff ourselves. Fun times She's got a different vibe for all parts of the event too so each thing has to be decorated a little differently, etc. We've got less than 6 weeks to go so I'm working hard on the wedding and staying on track with the diet

Hope everyond had a great day and no hungries or at least manageable I'll weigh tomorrow since I was crunched for time this am I didn't weigh. Looking forward to a nice loss then and wishing releases for all of you as well.
