Someone wanted it, I just found it. Your welcome though!! I am wondering about veggies this round too. I hate them, especially the ones on the list, but want to do some more. I might make up a few baked onions this afternoon so I will have some heat and eat veggies ready to go. That makes it much easier. I remember that Biz said that Romaine was an excellent diuretic, so I will be buying that today when we go out.

green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, squash........all low carb because that is what I cook, but they are not on the list so I just do without. I am ok with it though, no going off plan for me!

Julie, sorry I missed part of your question. Yes, my cottage cheese (1/4 cup or less probably) was in addition to my 7 oz of protein.
Stevie, I agree in general about low fat vs. non fat dairy (and non-fat NON-dairy jarred/bottled foods are frightening, IMO, unless they're naturally that way) ... it tends to have less sugar and carbs. But I'm so nervous to bend the Dr. S rules, even with Robin telling me it's okay! I've got to get over that. |

you are having more than 7 oz of protein. Low fat is much better and healthier for you than the fat free. |

Stevie, thanks for the cukes reference. I'm having openfaced sirloin burger sliders on cukes for lunch with a cuke salad using your recipe and the last of my big pkg of apples
I can't believe I just made 12 sliders out of 100 gms of meat. Dawn, reading the menu thread prompted me to make your mustard and syrup mixture for topping my burgers too. Thanks! |

Dawn, just for the record, I've only had more than 7 oz of protein 4 days out of 15, when I was starving, 2 with my half hard-boiled egg and 2 days w/ cottage cheese The days I added cottage cheese, I had less than 1/4 cup (about 40 calories) not the 3 or 3.5 oz in a Biz shake. Always under 500 calories. And on 3 of those days I took out some bread or fruit and my other protein was chicken or fish. So my rule-bending was as reduced as possible and only in case of an emergency. And each time, I was nervous!!!
No longer starving, I'm at least trying to stick to the 7 oz (or 2 Simeons servings)

Good Morning Ladies!
Very excited to wake up to a 1.8 loss this am! This past week I was pretty much at a standstill. Hoping the new week sees a bit more action! I am hoping to hear of I got a job by Wednesday!! That would be awesome. Been job hunting since May, so it would be wonderful to get back to work. Hope you all have a wonderful day! |

Stevie that's awesome that your hubby noticed! Isn't it nice to know others can see it? So glad youre feeling better!
Winders- woo hoo on your whoosh!! Hope this turns out to be a great week and that you get that job!! Dawn how are you this morning? I STS. I decided I'm gonna give this one more day bc I felt a tiny relief from hunger last night and I'm wondering If the higher dose is finally working or If it's a fluke? Taking it one day at a time and pushing through a little longer!!! Last edited by Reddy; 09-16-2012 at 07:18 AM.. |

I'm glad the scale is going down and your hunger is down. If your calories are under 500 each day, that may contribute to your hunger. I have a hard time keeping my cals at 500 most days. Yesterday I was at 625, but we ate out at dinner and I guessed at 2/3 of a portion. Robin and Biz are both coaching you well and you are doing everything you can for a successful round. Relax, and take it a day at a time. Stress will hurt the scale too. Reddy- Sorry you're still hungry, but progress last night is a bit encouraging. You're so close to your goal. It'd be so nice to hit it and then stall at it. I've found the weight you stall at is much easier to maintain in P3/P4. Hang in there!Dawn-so close!! You can do it!! ![]() Winders-nice!! 10lbs in a week? WTG!! Chantel- that dh noticed!! So encouraging. You're almost there too. You've come a long way and need to take a minute and celebrate your success!WW-you were always so creative w. your meals. I remember wishing I could just come eat at your house!! With such a busy phase of life do the best you can. Be in the moment and enjoy this time w. your dd.We had a great day yesterday. Went up to Payson AZ to hike Tonto Natural Bridge. It's one of our favorite hikes and was a beautiful sunny 80deg day!! It was more challenging than I remembered w. bouldering and some small rock climbing - which added to the fun!! Then we had dinner at Pita Jungle ( ) and went to our friend's house for small group Bible study. It was a pretty perfect day!! And I even lost 0.6 from it - w. cottage cheese and strawberries for lunch, and dining out!! And I'm sore . Good day! Have a blessed Sunday ladies!!

Way to go, Julie!
BTW, Biz isn't coaching me. I just made her shake is all! I have enough voices in my head already, what with the clinic, Robin, and best of all, you guys. And don't worry, I think I've only been under 500 yesterday. Another little loss. -0.4 today Realized that my magnesium may not be working, because it's part of a calcium magnesium supplement. I may have to separate the two to get the benefit of the mag. We'll see. So far, if I don't have SM tea, I don't move. And I don't want to have SM too often. Robin suggested Miralax, but that's a synthetic laxative, so I don't love the idea. I sure hope this issue goes away in P3. 8/30 - 169.5 LOAD DAY 1 8/31 - ??? LOAD DAY 2 9/01 - VLCD1 172.8 +3.3 after loading 9/02 - VLCD2 169.5 -3.3 (lost all of loading) 9/03 - VLCD3 167.1 -2.4 (-5.7 from load w) 9/04 - VLCD4 165.8 -1.3 (-6 from load w, 3.7 from pre-load) 9/05 - VLCD5 165.1 -0.7 (-4.4 from pre-load) 9/06 - VLCD6 164.1 -1.0 (-5.4 from pre-load) 9/07 - VLCD7 164.0 -0.1 (-5.5 from pre-load) (injected 125iu) 9/08 - VLCD8 163.0 -1.0 (-6.5 from pre-load) 9/09 - VLCD9 163.? (can't remember, possibly up .4 or STS) 9/10 - VLCD10 163 (back to 150iu, better day hunger wise) 9/11 - VLCD11 162.8 -0.2 9/12 - VLCD12 161.4 -1.4 (SM tea helped) 9/13 - VLCD13 161.4 STS (predicted post-SM tea "stall") 9/14 - VLCD14 STS is my guess 9/15 - VLCD15 160.7 -0.7 9/16 - VLCD16 160.3 -0.4 SO CLOSE TO THE 150's. Come on already! |

Scale was back down but did not take any friends with it
Seriously thinking the drops I have are not 'reliable'. Will continue to use them till my pellets arrive. They shipped yesterday. does anyone know where the intermountain pellets ship from? inquiring minds Here's todays menu:mini sliders on cukes with cuke salad, strawberries grilled steak with no seasoning, just salt after grilling, grilled romaine with lemon and garlic, strawberry granita, water, water and more water, vitamins |

Good morning all. Just got caught up reading your posts.
Looking good so far! TOM still here, hope I see some wooshes next week too Dawn. I am having a date night Monday and that could throw me off but I still have many days to recover and get to goal. We may change our travel plans which changes my plans but it wont effect me trying to get to goal by Thanksgiving ( my BD this year). Have a great day all! |

Quickie post because I'm on my phone but I just HAD to share that I'm not hungry at all today!!! It's 3 o'clock and all I've had is my grilled chicken and I'm still not hungry! Granted I been really busy today with the pictures but still! Just now sitting down to have some grapefruit!
I'm totally amazed! This is exactly how I felt last time and what I've been waiting for! Obviously my dose was off! If only I could've figured this out sooner... but at least I did figure it out before I quit!!! |
