P2 Simeon's Protocol Week of July 30th

OK~ after my mishap on Saturday night, I finally weighed and am up .5 from my last weigh in. Hoping for a couple more pounds gone by LDW, which I think will be Friday. Truthfully, I wouldn't mind calling it today, but I am being greedy for just a little more weight loss.

What If I lose in the 72 hours to follow? Also would it make any sense to make today an apple day? I really want to lose .5-1lb before I call it! Thanks! |

That does make sense. So I guess whatever I weigh tomorrow morning will be my weight for the next 6 weeks.
Any thoughts on making today an Apple Day? I stalled for two days but this morning I was down .6 so technically not a REAL stall. Would it make sense to do it or no? I just want tomorrow to read 165 or less. |

Thanks for the concern! I am done with my load days and started day 3 at 180: no gain or losses. I am drinking mothers milk tea and taking reglan to keep my milk up. My calories will be at 850-900. Ill just use 8oz of protein for lunch and 4.5 for dinner. Ill try this and adjust accordingly. I am not hungry at all this morning. I have one more wk of maternity leave. Ill prob ask for another two wks. With all the craziness of back to school i hope i stay focused on them and not on food!!
Temeka: Why dont you go to dental hygiene school? Youareadychave a dental background and that makes it a little easier to get through the program. |

I am planning to do P3 for 3 weeks and then to P4 for a few and then possibly do another short round. (maybe a 15 day?) I did a 22 day round (would have been 23 but I'm ending a day early so that I can eat more "normally" on my trip this weekend.) I am about 10-15lbs from my goal so I'm going to see how P3 and P4 go and figure it out from there. Prior to HCG I did Atkins STRICT Induction for 4 months to try and lost baby weight. I lost about 15-18lbs that way but it was HARD and SO SLOW and for the last month of it I basically hit a plateau and kept gaining and losing the same 5lbs. I'm scared of P3 b/c I don't want to gain too much so I will be watching VERY Carefully. (Also excited to have cream in my coffee, cheese, broccoli etc) My sons 1st birthday party (and my 32nd bday) is on August 25th. That will be right around the start for P4. I plan to eat what I want (within reason) for our birthday weekend and then assess where I'm at and go from there. Another question, do you HAVE to do P4 before staring another round or can you do P2 again after just 3 or 4 weeks on P3? |

If you are strict protocol...then YES, do a full P3/P4! If you go from P3 back into P1/P2...then it is "cycling". Some people do it....some have good results, others don't. I do "cycle", but I have/had a lot of weight to lose. Now I have 38 more lbs. to lose...so once I get to my first major goal...199...I will be doing a complete P3/P4...then another round to get from 199-175 for goal. Because you have a small amount to lose...most would advise you to do full P3/P4. HTH |
Yes is my first day VLC. This is my 4th Round. I do Rx so I cannot cycle and skip P4. I just came off 3 months maintenance. I've never gained so much load weight. It will be interesting to see what the scales say tomorrow....

Morning everyone!!
Thanks for the new thread!!! Well I was up .2 today but not enough water i yesterday. I had another stressful day with dh.He had to have his heart shocked back into normal rythmn! That poor man he went in for a MINOR gall baldder surgery and it ended up being MAJOR!:stars: But it went well and they only had to shock his heart once THANK GOD:aprayer: and he seems to be doing much better. I am hoping to bring him home tomorrow or Wednesday!!:aprayer: ANGELA I have a concern here and don't know what to do. I started the round2 PH2 on June16th and stopped on July 8th then did 3 days vlcdays.(total of 23days) Then we went to Whicita for about seven days and maintained. Dh got sick and so I did not go back to PH2 until this past Tuesday24th. So I have been on it for 7days now making it this round 31days(I think) plus the two weeks interuption. Anyway it seems my HCG may have lost it's potency( I mixed it on July 5th)? I have been being hungry for the last two dys. I am buying a PG test today and test it to see.If it's bad I will be going to PH3. Will it be ok to do PH3 for four weeks instead of three, then back to PH2? And if I don't do a PH4 what will that hurt? OR to do 3weeks of PH3 and then PH2 & take a 2 weeks interuption and back to PH3 for a while?Or just do a short 21 day VLC days? Sorry for all the questions... you would think I would know after this much time but it seems my mind isn't working properly here lately with the stress of things:o |

When I do a P3...it is for 13 days...so I do NOT have to load...I do not enjoy loading (heavy loads vs. NO loads do not affect me any differently...very minimal hunger either way) so to me it is silly to load & gain tons of weight...I know it's protocol...but I have issues w/ having to re-lose it if it isn't totally necessary |
Back to HCG for 2nd round! First day of P2 today. I did my first round of HCG in December, and lost only 8 pounds, but I cheated like crazy!! So, this time, I am going to do much better at sticking to the calorie limit, and the food limits, with more types of veggies thrown in. I just cannot do it with only the limited veggies allowed, I already know that, so I will definitely do better with more (low carb type) veggies. I was over at JUDDD for a few weeks, and while I really liked it, I want to see faster results right now, so I'm giving HCG a shot again. The good thing about JUDDD was that I actually got used to the 500 to 600 calorie eating range, and don't feel deprived at that level any more, as opposed to the first time around on HCG. I'm much better prepared this time! I'm breaking it down to one-week increments....only thinking about this week; next week I will deal with when it comes around :o)

Hello Everyone,
Today is the end of R3P2. My LDW is 168. Not as much as I would have liked but lower than I have been in 15 years. Only a loss of 12 pounds (haven't had my measurements taken yet today) but the inches have been coming off and to reset my weight makes it all worthwhile. I'll do P3/P4 and then start another round in the fall. Happy losses to you all. |
