Hey ladies loaded the weekend gainned 1.8 lbs but dropped 4 lbs. today on VLCD #2. Not sure if I should join this group for support because I add extra protein to my diet when on P2 so I might be classified as "rogue". I do this because I exercise at least 5 days a week, 2 classes of 1 hour Zumba and 1 day of water aerobics which also is an hour and I also walk a few miles the other days. Could use the support and lend some as well. Looking to do a long round but will evaluate as I go along. My mantra this round "NO Cheating Allowed! I pray I can remember this when tempted to, totally not worth it. I will not be posting every day weight lost or gainned but will definitely be dropping in daily to see how everyone is doing and lend support in this journey.

Newbie: HI!

Hi all,
Im new to both Hhcg and posting on boards. I started a round on 7/30/12, If there is a better place for me to post just let me know.
So much great info here, I love it!
Today is my 2nd day of loading. I did learn from these boards not to do a carb heavy load and so far I only gained 1/2 pound (thank goodness)
I thought loading would be enjoyable but, not so much!
Wish me luck on my 1st VLCD tomorrow!

Jenny! I hear you on the load days, it sounds fun but oh the food, the food. Good success to you on your first round, and pleeezee do not cheat yourself out of a good first round. Follow the plan, it works!!!!(really I am talking to myself here)

WTG on losses people! Love the love here! Welcome Wren and Maggie. I'm in round 4 and Day2. I gained the most I have ever gained and that was 9.5 pounds. So far I've lost 3.5, so 6 more to go then it's on to VFT (virgin fat territory)...WOO HOO!

Hi everyone!! Im down 1.2 lbs today. I have lost 23.2 lbs and 33 1/2 inches in 32 days. Im trying to make to 40 days bcuz i really wanna be 250 when i stop hcg. I need 7.8 more lbs in 11 days!!! Ugh...my period came four days early. I m terrified of going to P3. I take hhcg, does that mean i can do 3 weeks of p3 and a week of p4, then start back on p1? Do i have to wait 6 weeks to start another round? I HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING HAPPY RELEASES!!

Cheat day

It was really awesome to find this forum. Wish I had seen it sooner cuz it may have helped me thru some struggles. So far, I'm fairly happy with where I am. Today is Day29 of using the HHCG. Most times I am not really hungry. Today I am. But that will pass...
I am trying to figure out what to do. Next week I am helping my sister throw a baby shower for my dear niece. The food we are serving is what my sister picked. It happens to be my absolute fave for showers and stuff. Haven't had it in 4 years or so. I know it will end up in a cheat. I also don't know when I should end up switching to P#. Should I do it ASAP (even thought the food has bread in it) or should I wait until afterwards, and extend thru trying to make up for the cheat? I have been very good (not perfect with a bite or two here and there, and mixing veggied sometimes) and pretty happy overall.
PLEASE HELP!

Way to go on the 23.2 release! You are doing Fantastic! Keep it up! Ugh, is right about the monthly, hate that! I started another round after 6 weeks, I did P3 for 3 weeks and attempted P4 but had a hard time so ate mostly P3 foods. I am Diabetic and I need to watch the sugar and starches that is why I eat mostly P3 foods. You can get er' done with 11 more days to go. I did a 40 day round the first time myself. Good success to you!

Temeka~ Way to go on the losses~ Amazing results!. Even if you are taking Hhcg, if this is your first round, you have to do 3 weeks of P3, then 3 weeks of P4 minimum. Like someone else posted, sometimes P4 is hard, but no worries, you just keep eating P3 style for the remainder of P4. Make sense?

Hi There! Welcome to the boards
If you think you are going to cheat, maybe do a planned interruption and then go back into P2 afterwards.. you have to stop taking Hcg for 3 days before (2 days for Hhcg) then move to P3 foods for the shower. You can have an interruption for up to 2 weeks without reloading. I can tell you the cheat I had last week (wine and cake ) took me 3 days to get back to the weight I was before cheating. If that isn't a big deal to you, then you could do that. Just know it will set you back.

No one is ever perfect all the time I can't help but believe that from one time or another everyone goofs up..... you have to do what works for you.I have broth for breakfast every morning and that isn't on protocol....So if they want me to go to the rougue thread they would have told me so(I think)

Temekaaaaaa! woo hoo! You are dabomb diggity! P3 is my favorite part of the protocol. I pretty much live in P3. So many choices, so little time! Shelby is the go-to girl to help as well as Dawn and Julie and well EVERYBODY! There are some awesome threads on P3. Here's a good one to get you started:

FatNOmore - woo hoo! love that name. If it were me, I would do an interruption, which means stop the drops 2 days before if you're doing hhcg, and 3 days before it you're doing hcg and continue VLCD up until the day of the shower. You do not want to have the hcg in your system when you cheat. Cheating on hcg is a lot worse than cheating during other diets! For real! Let us know what you decide to do. Good luck!

I live for P3! I love P3 foods, and rarely step outside of P3 because every time I eat starches, or goodness sugar I gain! I'm learning so much about the art of maintenance! When are you starting your next round?

I know what you mean about the cheating. My Round 2 netted me 14 pounds of loss for 40 days of work! It was a disaster because of cheating! Hang in there. You're almost to P3 aren't you?

I just had Swai fish for dinner, and it was delicious! Much tastier than Talapia, and I love Talapia! Wow! It's only 70 calories for 4 oz, but I only had 3.5 ounces, that was hard to cut that delicious fish in half. YUM! I sprinkled some Mojo (lemon/orange seasoning) on it!

Temekaaaaaa! woo hoo! You are dabomb diggity! P3 is my favorite part of the protocol. I pretty much live in P3. So many choices, so little time! Shelby is the go-to girl to help as well as Dawn and Julie and well EVERYBODY! There are some awesome threads on P3. Here's a good one to get you started:

FatNOmore - woo hoo! love that name. If it were me, I would do an interruption, which means stop the drops 2 days before if you're doing hhcg, and 3 days before it you're doing hcg and continue VLCD up until the day of the shower. You do not want to have the hcg in your system when you cheat. Cheating on hcg is a lot worse than cheating during other diets! For real! Let us know what you decide to do. Good luck!

I live for P3! I love P3 foods, and rarely step outside of P3 because every time I eat starches, or goodness sugar I gain! I'm learning so much about the art of maintenance! When are you starting your next round?



I know what you mean about the cheating. My Round 2 netted me 14 pounds of loss for 40 days of work! It was a disaster because of cheating! Hang in there. You're almost to P3 aren't you?

I just had Swai fish for dinner, and it was delicious! Much tastier than Talapia, and I love Talapia! Wow! It's only 70 calories for 4 oz, but I only had 3.5 ounces, that was hard to cut that delicious fish in half. YUM! I sprinkled some Mojo (lemon/orange seasoning) on it!

Thanks for your advice. So if the shower is on Saturday, I should plan on stopping the hhcg on Thursday, continuing the p2 protocol? and then on Sunday start the drops again? I really appreciate your wisdom!

Hi There! Welcome to the boards
If you think you are going to cheat, maybe do a planned interruption and then go back into P2 afterwards.. you have to stop taking Hcg for 3 days before (2 days for Hhcg) then move to P3 foods for the shower. You can have an interruption for up to 2 weeks without reloading. I can tell you the cheat I had last week (wine and cake ) took me 3 days to get back to the weight I was before cheating. If that isn't a big deal to you, then you could do that. Just know it will set you back.
Thanks for the info. I guess I'm just trying to be realistic. I don't want to totally blow my progress, but I know that the temptations will be too much if I can't have at least a small bit of the treats.
As far as I understand it, I should stop the drops on Thursday, follow the p2 protocol still, and go back on Sunday. Is that correct?

I accidentally had a mint today. Got in my car, popped a mint in my mouth and drove down the road. 5 minutes later I realized what I'd done and quickly spit the mint out. GAH I hope the sugar in it doesn't affect me.

I just have to comment..years ago, I was obsessed with a man similar to yours. Let me just say, he takes pleasure in messing with your head, and the only way to get him out of your head and get your life back, is to have NO contact with him. Don't kid yourself that you can be his friend....it obviously hurts you. So, he did you a favor by deleting you....now do something good for yourself, and block him from your phone, delete his number. It will hurt, but in the long run, you will be glad you did. All those movies, stories, blogs are right......you KNOW when a man is into you. All that said, you deserve so much better...you are beautiful and smart, and he is NOT good enough for you. Be kind to yourself and kick him to the curb.
