I'm just chugging along (obviously). Today my younger daughter is four years old, so we have her choice of dinner planned and strawberry angelfood cake for birthday dessert. The intuitive eating thing is going very well, too, though I still miss not having calories around to guide me!

She never really stabilized. I've considered it myself but never did one. YMMV Good luck whatever you decide!

Thanks guys! Appreciate the input. Not gonna do the PI. I'm strong, but don't think going back after doing P3 would be easy, or worth it?

I'm still on the fence about a week 4? I'm not miserable, but next week my BIL, brother, and my in-laws all arrive different days for visits. Not sure I should try P2 w/ all that going on. I could do a few extra days. I'm at 147.8 today, and would like to end at 146. maybe I'll finish strong .

Keep working the maintenance girls! You're all doing great!! have some cream in your coffee for me!

Hi all
Doing a high protein day today, weight is creeping...not yet over the 2lb limit but getting too close! I blame the COCONUT BUTTER. That stuff is to die for!!!!Tomorrow is P4 for me but I will probably not venture too far off P3. Just once in a while. Also starting to workout again tomorrow. Hoping the scale doesn't jump up too high!

Mornin Taryl, Julie (), Lara and AgentVenti!

Julie - are you going to P2 through the weekend? How's it going?

Lara - congrats on your steak day results! You're almost there

Agent Venti - Welcome to P4! I haven't tried the coconut butter yet but want to!! How was your weigh in today? I am going to hit up the gym again as soon as I'm stable for a few days, I miss it!

Taryl - how did the birthday angelfood cake turn out? Did you make it?

I'm up a smidge to the top of my window so I'm eating clean today. Had some wine last night with some goat gouda and several of those baby sweet peppers. Calories weren't that high so I'm thinking it might have been the wine. No worries! 3 eggs for brekkie with fresh basil and tarragon from the patio garden, lunch will probably be chicken and spinach salad, hopefully protein of some sort for dinner. Oh, and cold brew coffee throughout the day too.

morning y'all! Lara, hang in there. We're so close to the next round. I'm struggling too. It's beer that's killing me. I am maintaining, but barely.

I want to have a super clean next round. No cheats!

Hi guys! Just checking in here. Had an all-out foodfest this weekend, including happy hour drinks Friday, Fogo de Chao (Brazilian steakhouse) Saturday, and a baby shower Sunday that included all kinds of yummy. On the whole, I don't feel like I ate badly--zero carbs Friday and Saturday, just a few on Sunday (darn icing!)--but I'm sure I am up (not weighing daily these days) so I'm doing a chicken thigh cd today. I am also fighting some sort of "lady infection" so drinking mad amounts of lemon water and hoping the meds kick in soon. It's draining though and tends to make me retain water so I will be waiting until Saturday to weigh again. All in all, I am sitting between 145 and 150 (was 146.7 Saturday morning) which isn't bad but I need to make sure I keep it in check. I am going off on a family-visiting trip in about a week so when I get back, I may jump into another reshaping P2 round. All my BFFs are going to be starting a round so it would be nice to be ON P2 with them instead of the usual staggered rounds that we all end up doing!

Dawn - we're waiting for ya girl!
Lara - hold steady! You can do it!
Tiffany - lordy, I hear ya on the beer! I can't even go there--I can drink it like water and it's too tempting when it's hot!
to everyone else maintaining like gangbusters!

Yes. I think I'll extend through the weekend. I don't wanna, but I will. I'm close to 145, and I'd really like to get there. July 31 will be my last dose even if I'm not at 145. If I get there sooner I'll be thrilled! Hoping the extra loss will make staying in the 140's easier, even after P4. Enjoy P3! Can't wait to join you.

Lara-we'll completely pass each other . You'll do great and I'll be in P3:4 when you're through.

Shelby-fun weekend! It may not be as bad as you think. Enjoy those thighs!

My tummy's growling . Just thinking of P3 seems To be making me hungry! Maybe it's cause I worked out today? Just keep P2ing....

Birthday went decently, though after I ate some cake I had major heart racing and dizziness. Me and sugar just aren't friends anymore, and it's ceasing to be worth it, even on special occasions.

Oh Julie, isn't it tough to extend rounds for a goal? I have had that same struggle and never had a satisfactory answer. While I'm glad to lose more weight, the extra days hardly seem worth it!

Sometimes a clean day is what it takes to either get focused again or drop some excess. It's sounds delicious so far

Mornin ladies!

I'm down one and still in window, yeah! Had some voskos for breakfast with some vanilla DaVincis and cocoa powder, yum!!! Drinking cold brew coffee now with hwc. I'll probably go for a protein lunch because brekkie was fat and carb heavy.

Lara- Hope you can figure out something! Have you tried a chicken thigh or egg CD?

Morning ladies!

Yay Misslatte!

Lara, 9 days. That's coming up quick! I'm nervous too, but I think I like the strictness of it all. My only problem really is beer. It's hot here in Texas, and it just goes down too easy. :/ I'll suck it up though, I really really want this to be a good round. The last one gave me some great results, but this one should be really noticeable.

I tried a chicken thigh day no loss... tried a GY day no loss lol my beloved steak days work well I think. This two up thing form yesterday was a weird thing... I have a notion that its water weight from TOM trying to rear her ugly head ( accidentally took "the pill" 6 hours late last sunday )so its my fault but I wont stress too hard. I just actually realized this when you asked me so thanks!!

Yes. Very hard to extend . I'm so close to that number on the scale I've never seen, but truthfully I'm very happy here. If the scales don't cooperate I'll at least have several days at this weight which hopefully will make stabilizing easier. I've killed the idea of doing P3 before next tues/wed so I'm in for the extra weekend! Psyching myself up!

That sounds a lot like my first meal once I reach P3. Voskos, strawberries, cream in my coffee . Can't wait! Good for you in window and loving life! WTG!

Lara- that stinks! Hope you're back down a bit tomorrow!

I'll be w/ you more next week. Just plugging away w/ boring P2. Dd(9) and I a going for pedicures today while dd(12) is at the mall w/ her GFs. Happy distractions .

Hey guys! Checking in here. It's great to see that everyone is chugging' along happily

Amy - yummy brekkie!
Julie - You're doing so well! Maybe all that refeeding got you in the mindset? Either way, awesome!!
Lara - If you didn't lose on a CD but you liked doing it, maybe give it one more go before you count it as a total dud? I dunno, it would be worth it if you want to change it up. And if nothing else, you're gonna start a next round anyway woooo!

Weekend was eatfest galore so I planned some of my fave CDs for the week - GYCD Monday, chicken thighs today, steak day Friday, weigh in on Saturday (yeah I haven't stepped on the scale yet..) As long as I can be at my LIW at the beginning of next P2, I'm happy! I was also thinking of toying around with a fat fast and may do so next week if I need to. Or even if I don't need to. Hehe.

Planning on loading for my next round on Aug 11-12, then I'll have to get back into the groove! It'll be fun. Weight loss is fun.

Hello everyone,
I was away for work for a few days last week then we were off to an outdoor music festival for the weekend, camping style. I made sure to have a few proper eats but there was treats had. They had to go and bring in a mini donuts truck....
Anyway when I got home Sunday I stripped and got on the scale even though it was late in the day...I was under what I had expected and still within my allowable range so I was really thrilled....which made me throw all caution to the wind and have pizza and chips that night lol So yeah Monday was a steak day, Tuesday AM had great results so once again thought it was OK to eat some junk... funny how the brain works. Anyway today is another steak day, I have read that you don't want to do steak days often so I'm going to really try hard not to fall off the wagon yet again if I see a loss tomorrow. After being at the outdoor festival and seeing lots of chicks running around in their skimpy bikinis it really made me contemplate doing another round just to lose even 5-10 more lbs....my dbf quickly said NO! but not because he doesn't think I need to, he doesn't want me to lose anymore weight from my chest area. He said he doesn't want to be left with just a set of nipples.... maybe TMI for some but I thought it was pretty funny. If I could only get rid of this weird pouch of belly fat things wouldn't be so bad!! When I bend over I can barely suck it in...it just hangs there...why didn't that fat get lost instead of my boobs?? I really don't want to do another round, it would be soooo nice to hear my dbf say that I don't need to because I'm looking awesome but he hasn't said that yet...and I know I should be doing this for myself and believe me I am but part of me wants him to say, "no you don't need to lose anymore weight my love, you look great and losing more weight could be a danger to your health." Don't worry I'm not starving myself this is just what I imagine my prince charming saying to me. LMAO I guess I just have a self esteem issue, I'm always worried that he's wishing he was with someone with a better body...especially when there are tons of hot bods prancing around barely covered... it's tough because I really don't want to express to him I'm so self conscious so I just try and deal with the fact that all the sights are making me feel like I need to be skinnier. How does one change that mind set? It's depressing and I don't like feeling so insecure. But really, if I see another skinny/tanned/hot bod skipping merrily by in the near future...I might try to trip her. LOL Just sick of seeing the body type I wish I was but will never have.
Aside from that, it's good to be back and I'm excited to read and catch up.

I couldn't be more thrilled with how P3 is going!!! I ended my round at 250 even and today (almost 2 weeks later) I was at 250.4.

I have been following Robin Woodall's advice in Weight Loss Apocolypse and eating only when I'm hungry and stopping before I'm full. It's a bit hard for me to tell sometimes, but overall I'm really getting it. Maintaining this way has been effortless and that is such a relief to me!

I just went to PA for 5 days to visit my MIL. I decided not to take my scale, which was kind of scary (I've been very strict to protocol, but Robin tells people not to use the scale). So I tested out my body and my hunger cues and was pleasantly surprised! We got home late last night and so this morning was the first time I had weighed myself. Seeing that I was just 0.4 above my LDW was AWESOME!!!

I am a little nervous about adding in sugars and starches, but I'm hoping if I eat only to hunger that will be easy too. Fingers crossed!!

It did work, down 2 again and now 4 above liw. I wont give up!!!!

Bitsky give it a month or two and you might plump up again I did after 9 weeks so it took a while, before that my skin looked thin if you know what i mean...

love ~Lara

Thank you, that is reassuring. I will wait and keep doing my 'must increase my bust' exercises!

Glad to hear your last CD worked for you! I did a steak day yesterday, sure felt like I shouldn't have lost any weight but like magic I was down 1.4 this morning.

Bitsky- at your post! I do the same sabotage once I'm down again! And this round I've lost some off the top, which stinks! . I'm sure DBF appreciates the little hottie he has, and better only have eyes for you!

Weight loss is fun.
thanks! I really think the refeed boosted my metabolism quite a bit. I really think btw that and reading WLA I was set up for a good round. I'm very happy, and plan to take maintaining very seriously! So, what did you learn about CDs? Which is your face, or most successful? I'm a GYCD girl .

During P3 why do we want to avoid the 'light' versions of things like cheese for example. Why not choose the light version and have a bit more of it?? before hcg I was all about light or no fat things, now it just hurts my brain a little to think I should be inputting high fat or regular foods...

Usually when they take out the fat it's replaced with sugar or starch-both are not P3 friendly, or good for you. If its just made with skim milk, like yogurt or cottage cheese, it would be ok. But even there, read the label and make sure it's real food.
