They took my DH to ICU this afternoon I was sitting with him holding his hand and he stopped breathing All of a sudden in ran all these Drs. and nurses and scared me to death .

They said he was going into V FIB? So they rushed him to ICU and when they ran me out tonight He was responding much better. But boy oh boy what a daySO another day tomorrow at the hospital I will be so thankful when this is allover They put him on a sleep apnea machine that seemed to really help his breathing!

OMG! i'm glad he's doing better. ICU is the best place for him if he went into V FIB. much more specialized care and more nurses per patient.

saying lots of prayers for you and your DH berta!

Thank you Manders
I know it is better and they have one nurse per every two patients. So I know he will be taken care of.I just wish I could stay with him. But rules are different in ICU than on the surgery floor!

Way to go Lildrew!
Manders~ did your scale drop today?
Julieboolie... how many more days will you do? I think we started close to the same time..

Down .5 today.. Week 3 always kinda sucks for me, and from what I read, most everyone else! total losses are 2 pounds this week with 2 days to go for official weekly weigh in.

Everyone, keep up the good work and carry on!

Yep, we started around the same time. I plan to start P3 next Wed. My week 3 netted me almost 3lbs. . But, hoping for at least 2 more the next 6 days. We'll see. I'd love to see 145 as my LDW, but I'll take what I can get.

I'm down 0.6 which was nice! Inches are going too! But, the girls are getting smaller too , which is sad. I don't consider that "abnormal" fat! . Overall, this has been a good round. Possibly my best one. I really think the RRARFing and 2 months of refeeding did some good! Yeah! Not to mention it was fun!

Crazy morning at work today but I'm happy to report that my Apple Day yesterday worked.

After only losing 1lb over 6 days (during TOM) I am down 1.6 this morning!!

I am hoping to see one more 1-2lb whoosh before this phase is over esp since TOM should be gone in a day or two and I'd really like to hit 165 before P3.

Good Afternoon Ladies,

First off Berta I hope things have improved with your DH health, prayers said.

Shelbyla thanks for the recipes. I tried the first salad dressing one and it is much better than plain(ACV).Go Packers!!!!

Reddy and Lildrew concrats nice loss. btw lildrew what is TOM? I keep seeing that on these boards.

pendragginp thanks for the welcome.

Manders waiting to hear your report

As for Fat Eddie I'm somewhat confused as my last 5 days after a 13 lb loss are 221/221.2/221.2/220/220. These are days 13-17. Any ideas or should I just chill. I am a strict protocol guy.

Well Eddie....TOM is time of the month.

Thanks Eddie!

I think it's normal to start to slow down on Loss by the end of the second week and into the 3rd. I wouldn't worry too much since it sounds like you've had great losses so far. But I'm far from an expert. (I assume that's what you were asking)

I'll answer for Drew and say TOM = Time of the Month. You're lucky you don't have to worry about that b/c it has REALLY stalled me!!!

Berta, Oh my goodness, praying for you and hubs! Wow, I know that threw you for a loop!

WTG on losses as the whoosh fairy did sprinkle a little dust...

LOL, I was rolling with laughter at Fat Eddie's question about TOM, and had my hubby laughing too! That was awesome! Love it. Eddie, don't stress about your same weight today, it happens. You can even be absolutely perfect and show a gain. It is so frustrating. But in the end, if you can be patient, it will come off!

Personally, I admire anyone who does an apple day, but my stall would have to last the full 6 days before I did an apple day. I'm just not that fond of apples (except in apple pie of course).

I weighed in at 166.5 today, which my goal is to be 167.5 or less on Saturday, when I start my load days. I can gain some serious poundage during load! Wowzers!

Good luck all! and may the scale be kind to all!

Memory keeper- my stall was 6 days which Is why I did the apple day. It wasn't fun but by the end the idea of eating an apple made me nauseous. It was worth It though to finally see the scale move.

OMGGGG. It was 183.0 EXACTLY. I would've been overjoyed with 182.9. BUT NO. I even picked up the scale, shook it and got back on. Same thing.

Grrrrrrrrr! This round has been awful. I want to get to 179 and go into P3.

Manders that's a good 1.2 drop, I knew it would happen.

In reference to why I started-its simple and I bet we all can agree. In three words:

IT WAS TIME.

I am determined to not only to lose weight but to transform myself into a physically healthy, morally just mentor to my grown children. Be an example. I know it sounds corny but I have been running hard for too long.
And you?

Well, a stall is really at least 5 days, so I think you are still on track! You have had great losses!!! I am sure you will be down again tomorrow.
