Having a huge dilema today, could really use your opinions!

REALLY, REALLY NEED HELP YOU GUYS! Warning..........may be TMI ahead!

Yesterday was loading day 1. I was having a very hard time last night still trying to get to sleep at 4 in the morning. My body started trembling and I started feeling a little nauseous. It grew worse and worse. About 45 minutes to an hour later, I asked Louie (dh) to get me something to throw up in because I thought I might not make it to the bathroom.

Good thing because as soon as I sat up it came out. It was very violent, lasted a long time and A LOT came up!

Louie had to go to work right after. I eventually went back to sleep but woke up at 7:45 because Louie called to check on me. At that time, I had a really, really bad sore throat from throwing up so hard.

Went back to sleep, just got up about 15 minutes ago. My throat is OK now. And my stomach doesn't feel the greatest but I am OK to eat.

Here is my dilema. Today is supposed to be loading day 2. If I don't continue with my loading day today, I won't be able to continue this round and I'm not sure what to do.

This round was timed out perfectly so that I would be able to get in enough time to take a 2 day interruption before I have to travel to go back to Nashville in August for my 3 month baseline thermogram. I don't have any extra days to play around with here to start my round later.

I really wanted to get this round in before vacation. But should I really continue with loading after I threw up so much this morning. Your stomach is supposed to be continually full of fat when you're loading, so throwing up smack dab in the middle of it does not seem like a good thing! This part is my main concern.

I seem to be fine now. Just took my temp and it is normal so I don't think I'm sick. The only thing I can think of is that my body didn't like the amount of fat I took in yesterday while I loaded. I don't think I loaded any more than I usually do (this is supposed to be round 3)........but maybe my body just didn't like it this time for whatever reason!

Like I said, I really wanted to get this round in, but I can accept it as a "sign" that I shouldn't continue if that would be the best thing to do! I'm so confused. What would you guys do if you were me?!

I would still load but be careful and get in some more carbs to make the fat settle better!

Good luck

I agree with Cocoa! Just see how you feel and if you really are sick, I would load an extra day. I know that's hard, since you are probably super ready to get started, but you want to load properly for the best overall result.

I am so sorry you were sick!! That's the worst!!! Hugs!!!

I think I'd load carefully today, then start vlcd tomorrow.

Since the vomiting occurred at 4 am, your body probably had time to absorb most of the fat/protein you ate during the load day.

I like walnuts, cream cheese/olive/walnut spread, guacamole, some veggie strips for the guac and the cream cheese spread, chicken thighs or pork roast or a fatty steak, and a cocktail or two for Load Day 2.

I'd load an extra day. But I know your timing is delicate, so honestly either solution would probably be fine. I'm sorry loading made you sick!

I am on my fourth round and with all the others I have loaded for the full two days and usually gain between 6-8lbs! This time I only loaded one day and didn't even really push it at that. I gained 2 lbs.

I had NO more hunger in the first week than I did with the other rounds where I went hog wild with loading--if anything, my hunger this round was much less in the first week!

Thanks for all of the responses everyone. I appreciate it.

I did figure out that I will be able to get in exactly 20 days, even if I load again tomorrow, before my out of town interruption which is what Dr. Simeons suggests.

I will have 20 on plan hcg days, then two 500 calorie days with no hcg, then my 2 interruption days.

So at least I can load again tomorrow if I feel it's necessary.

In case anyone is interested, I asked Robin Phipps Woodall what I should do.

She advised me to continue to load today but spread it out and have maybe less dairy fat.

She also thinks that loading tomorrow again (tomorrow is loading day 3, I'm on homeopathic drops) would be a good idea.

So I'm following her advise. Just wanted to let you know that she really does answer questions and give personal help when she can. Very cool!

Awesome Dream I am glad you got a professional answer. I love loading so I wouldn't mind adding in an extra day to eat whatever you want
