Happy Monday all! I weighed in the same today. A bit discouraging, cause I was really expecting a loss, but oh well, today is a new day!

I'm with you Chouter, I can't believe I'm in the second week either! It really has gone tremendously well so far. Keeping my fingers crossed that my will power keeps up!

It really does fly by, especially if you're not scale focused but just going through the protocol motions. P2 doesn't usually suck

Mornin ladies! Down more today so I'm getting closer to where I want to be. Still more to go though.

I need to figure out how long I'm going to continue this round, I am going camping the weekend of the 28th and I wanted to be P3 before then. We're camping with my parents so it's a 5 hour drive Friday, staying in town Friday night, camping out on Saturday and driving 5 hours home on Sunday. I *could* go rogue and stick with my pellets while I'm there.. hmm.. I would be probably eating a little more beef and veggies (and mixing veggies too). I just REALLY don't want another vacation/travel gain. At least this time there are no planes! Okay now that I really think about it we'll probably make coconut flour pancakes with bacon too.. definitely not P2 friendly. Think I'll see how I'm doing throughout the next few days and make up my mind.

Hope everyone else is doing well!

Hi Dawn!!!
Oooh, yeah!! Have something fun for my birthday today. I am not going to have any cake, but told DH to get once since the kids were disappointed that we weren't even going out to eat have to stick to plan so I can be skinny for my vacation. Less than 2 weeks away. Have fun loading. You will be losing soon enough!!

I need a little extra willpower today. I told the kids yesterday when they asked what restaurant are we going to, that we were staying home. The look on their faces So I told DH to go and buy cake. He said he would be sure to get vanilla. I hate vanilla so it will be less tempting, but it is my birthday......I would rather celebrate skinnyness than cake anyhow

Awe Dawn, birthday parties can be so hard. Just remember that you don't need food to enjoy it, right? You have enough self control that you can enjoy your foodless birthday AND be skinny for vacation - how awesome is that? Just turn it around and remind yourself that you don't 'need' the cake

Oooh, good idea!! Yesterday I was at a kid's birthday party and one of the children there couldn't have any cake. So the mom brought an apple pie from KFC so she could have something with everyone. The little girl was allergic to egg, nuts and dairy. The cake had everything she was allergic to, beside the nuts!

Well then why not transition to P3 earlier? You only need twenty effective doss (non load days) before you can transition off. Just switch to P3 a week before you go so any tummy upsets can be ironed out, and eat P3-style for the trip. Voila?

So I've been off any hCG since Friday night and peed on another stick -

We're calling baby #4 official, due on March 24th-ish. Not saying anything in real life for a few more months, but I'm having much more confidence this is a healthy pregnancy than the one in October was, and I am also confident it wasn't any hCG dosing causing the positive.

Still following hunger cues and finding myself naturally eating about 1000-1400 calories right now. Wow! It's been fairly effortless, except for convincing myself not to boredom eat or overeat when I'm satisfying my hunger. But once I identify that I'm not feeling hungry its just a matter of finding other things to do. Novel concept, right?

I'll still be continuing my TTap, it is safe through pregnancy and highly recommended. I'll also probably keep hanging around here and the other low carb boards, since I am planning on a low to moderate carb pregnancy.

My husband is going fishing this evening (it was a last minute thing) so just the kids and myself will be going to the campaign meeting, then we have until Thursday before daddy gets back. I will have to watch myself for boredom eating like a HAWK when he's gone, but I think I can do it. After Bearpaw we were supposed to be less busy, but somehow got slammingly filled up AGAIN. Oy.

Good to see you Drew!! Woo-hoo for loading!! Enjoy something for all of us. I know what you mean about being ready to go!! Great mindset to start P2!! You can do it!!

I go back and forth on the "flying by". Week 1 goes fast, week 2 is a bit slower for me, and usually week 3 is fine again. The 2 days VLC w/o pellets are the hardest for some reason. All mental and I'm gearing up for P3.

Chouter-great job!! Are you going 21 or longer?

Dawn- I hope you have a very happy one!! Get some yummy coffee and go shopping!! Pick out something a bit tight right now, so in 2 weeks it'll look amazing on your vacation!! You can go out for a belated bday dinner celebration on vacation - steak!! You're very strong!! I'm impressed!!

Amy-see where you are in a week or so. You should relose that vacation gain pretty quickly back on P2. Are you almost there? Camping is a tough place to do P2. But it CAN be done. I'm not sure I'd try it. I've done it before though. Small burger over the fire, cottage cheese for "lunch". Apples and strawberries. Lots of water. If you keep it to clean meats and dairy for P3 you should be fine. Wondering if it's restaurants, nuts or some type of allergic reaction that caused that gain. Travel is tough!!

I'm still plugging away!! VLCD12 today. Down 0.2. I'm totally fine w. it. I'm happy size wise (skinny jeans fit and looked cute this weekend!!). I've been so heavy all my life, that being in the 140's for that month or so was super exciting. I would like to stay there, but saw that I gained very easily w. higher calories, even LC ones. I gained w. carbs of course too. So I spent 2 months refeeding to boost my metabolism. I think it's helping now, since I'm losing pretty well. I'm not back where I was, yet , but I sure plan to be. I'm even toying w. another round in the Fall to get into the 130's (I am still padded so there's plenty of abnormal fat around to lose!!). We'll see. I'm feeling so good and mentally doing fine w. this round. It's great!!

Got a crockpot of P2 chili going (8 servings) and made some chicken/cabbage/asian stirfy earlier. I like having things all made and ready to go. I'll stock the freezer a bit more then I can just grab, reheat and eat!! Much easier when cooking for the fam .

Have a happy Monday everyone!! We can do it. One day at at time!!

I'm glad you're doing well, Julie! I think sizes and blood chemistry are what matter so much more than scale weight - if you like your size and are metabolically healthy it's a lot less stress, especially after being morbidly obese (my perspective on weight is definitely adjusted for having been so heavy!).

Great losses continue for you, Dbunny! Hard to complain about that, right?

ok, 20 minutes after my 1st injection, this injection site HURTS! There was no pain during the injection, like people say I couldn't even feel the needle, but NOW? pain...

is this normal? should I be concerned? Did I do something wrong??

Where did you inject? Once I did it too high in the tummy and yes, it hurt and bruised. I would put ice on the area myself.

There is some soreness and stinging that is normal, as well as bruising. I found the absolutely least painful place to inject was pinching fat and skin only lower abdomen. Then I could barely feel the needle and the injection only stung a bit. And yes, I looked like a junkie with all the bruises, but it was preferable to doing it on my limbs!

Hey there! So good to hear from you, I've wondered how you're doing. Only seven pounds? Sounds like you're doing great! Yep, I'm back again, doing well this round. If I do it right, maybe I won't have to do another one. BUT, we're going on a cruise to Alaska next month. UGH, all that food and drink! I think everyday how I am going to handle that, and I don't have an answer yet!

How's the family?

I am going a minimum of 28 days, then I will see where I am. I'd love to get back down to 148-152 range. And I'd rather do it in one round than two.

Oh I do the same school shopping, too, and we're also a homeschool family

While all the sales are running it is hard to beat the cost of crayons, graph paper, and even things like Tupperware. We also buy the kids clothing in the back to school sales. Works for us

I'm sorry you're having a hungry day - boo!

did it on my tummy, about 2 inches to the side and 1 inch down from my bellybutton, right where I've got that nice fat roll to pinch lol.

As long as it's not a sign of me having completely botched it up, I can live with pain!

Hey all!

Oh my. What a past few days it's been. The cowboy I met on Friday was definitely just a summer fling. Had lots of fun, don't think anything will come of that. Went on my date yesterday. It was coffee with a client's son. We really hit it off and I ended up going back to their house and we had Sunday dinner with the entire family and then played board games. It was SO much fun. He has two younger brothers, 18 and 19, who are just hilarious. I already know his Mom (she's my client) and his Dad is great too.

There's definitely some flirtation between us, so I'm hoping we can go on movie date and maybe have some time alone. That'd be nice. We've been texting nonstop. I REALLY REALLY RELALY like him.

Anyways, back to reality. I ate HORRIBLY Friday and Sunday. It was outrageous. So I'm back on protocol today. I can feel how much havoc all the gluten, dairy and fat is wreaking on my body. I went up to 187.6 this morning, did my business and then was down to 186.5.

I really need to focus. I've been overindulging on protein pretty much this entire round. It's been almost a joke. I did better on my first round even though I ate out more. However I did run into one of my old beauty class instructors this afternoon and she goes "you look amazing! where's the rest of you?!" ahahahaha it was great! really motivated me to keep going.

Back on track 110% this week!
