Thank you! Good to know! I am not going to stop. BUT... I just realized I only have 11 days left (maybe 12 since I skipped an injection one day) which is amazing!! This has gone fast. The bad thing is that for the majority of that, I'll be dealing with TOM water retention and weight. Hoping it won't completely stall me or that if it does I'll see a big Whoosh when it's over!

Good evening, ladies!

Well I had a fabulous day on protocol yesterday, and my reward for that was a whopping TWO OUNCE loss. Grrrrrr. At least it wasn't a gain, but still, I deserved better than two measly ounces!

I went to Crossfit today, and man, I was really suffering. I had to stop many times and sit down because I kept getting dizzy. My trainer said, "Did you eat today?" Well, I did, but not much. I had lunch around one p.m. and worked out at 3, I was hoping that would get me through. It didn't.

When I got home, I fell asleep on the sofa, only to wake up absolutely frozen to the bone. I had forgotten that I get cold on this diet, and then remembered that when I get really cold, that is usually an indication of a big loss the next day. Maybe I am just hoping that's what is happening.

Oh well, onward!

Hello PH2 friends
I'm home I am so happy we are home there truly is no place like home. I thought of everyone often and wondered how you were doing.

It looks like you are doing great.

I only gained about 2lbs for the entire week. BUT I left my scales in the hotel So I didn't get to weigh today. I did buy another scale tonight so I will weigh in the morning.I was 254.8 LDW but was 252.6 when we left so I am not certain how I did.I was at 257.8 on Thursday morning.So I am hoping to be at least 254.8 if not less. I am going back to HCG Monday morning for as long as the vial lasts.I am hoping it will last at least 2 weeks. I tried doing JUDDD while there but some days were not so good. But I did the best I could under the circumstances.

It was not a pleasant trip. But I am not going into detail. My DH family is disfunctional for sure though He even said he hates going there

The Motel Marriott didn't even have a refrigerator in the room.So we were disappointed about that. Then we had to ask after the 3rd day to have our room cleaned and bed changed $112.00 dollars a night.) That should not be!

Then DH had to go to the desk to ask them to get someone to change the bed and they told them there wasn't anyone. It was evening. But they said they could give us the sheets and we could change it

My DH said he didn't think so and if they couldn't get someone to change it that night it would be reported to the Corporate office. It was about ten minutes and they had room service there cleaning it.It was cleaned EVERY DAY after that. Guess it pays sometimes to stick up for yourself 9.00 for a bacon cheeseburger 11;00 for a small salad We did not eat there

Well it's nice to see you all dong so well again.I will check back in tomorrow.

Do you normally exercise heavily when your on p2? I thought it actually causes water retention and increase on the scale? I have seen on youtube that some people do exercise intensely. Just curious. I think you're doing fantastic. Don't get discouraged. I did read on another support place that there's some physiological reason why we get cold on hcg diet.

Chouter--I got a 0.2 oz drop too. Whoop de doo!!! Oh, well. That means that I will drop more tomorrow. At least it IS going down. I totally missed my first fruit yesterday, just forgot about it. I don't know how that could happen, but it did. I will be sure to get in all my food today.

Berta--So glad you are back!!! But sad you didn't have a good time. That just stinks about the hotel. I know you are happy to be home. Nothing feels as good as home. Thanks for the wishes. Around here we celebrate my birthday/anniversary all month long, so no worries. Gives me an excuse to party longer LOL. Good to have you back to hcg on Monday. I finish up on Tues with my doses and will begin P3 on Friday--thank God!!! I have not reached goal, but don't mind where I end up next week. If I feel like it I can hop back on when I am done with my 2 weekend getaways. But I may like P3 too much to get back to it. We will see!

This is the first P2 I've done exercise, and yeah, it totally makes me retain water. I woke up this morning feeling it in my feet. I typically workout 3 x per week, intensely, but since I've been on P2 I've cut back and only done it 2-3 times since I started.

You know, Dawn, in these kind of situations, I like to use my Mom's math. She says when she only loses one lb., she realizes she could have gained 1 lb. So she counts it as a two lbs loss, the one she actually lost, and the one she could have gained but didn't. Psychologically, her method is kind of working for me this round.

Well, being cold yesterday did not foreshadow a big drop, darn it! I lost only .3. Whatever, I'll take it. That .3 finally put me at the 10 lbs. lost this round, and I am halfway there. Guess that's good enough.

My family has gone to an out-of-town soccer tournament, so I have the house to myself this weekend. Oh, glory days!!! I am going to enjoy some me time!

Hi Berta Welcome Back...missed ya!!!

Glad you're jumping back on P2...you'll do great!!!

Sorry to hear your trip wasn't so great At least you're home and it's done & over. Time to get back on with the routine, right?

I've been busy...haven't posted much...but read everything daily. I took a 4 day PI...went well...except I wasn't hungry much, and going off the HCG prompted my 2 1/2 week late TOM to come(and it was a tough one...drained a LOT of my energy...thank goodness my TOM's are only 48 hours long )...which was good in actuality. My lower back/right hip always aches when TOM is coming, and I was tired of waiting for it to show up. (Hubby is fixed so I know it's just wonky hormones due to HCG...cause I'm usually like clockwork). I was up about 2 lbs. from it and here in TX we finally got our 100+ degree days...so I was feeling some water in my feet & hands. Since then I have lost about 5-6 lbs., but been playing up/down with a lb. for 3-4 days...a stall...but I'm shrinking still in inches. But overall down 1.6 lbs. this week...which is the least amount I have ever lost in a week so far. I should have a whoosh soon...I have been on protocol perfectly this week.

I spent 2 hours trying on clothes in my closet...exciting to fit in a lot of them again, but it was also discouraging b'cuz I had been in them and let myself go...kwim? Anyway, now I have a lot of church/dressy clothes again for the fall.

I have about 18 lbs. to go for my first major goal, and I think I'm gonna do a full P3/P4. And then on to lose the last 20/25 lbs. to goal. I've been researching/collecting stuff for the yummy recipes...coconut oil, SF choc. chips, etc. and ready to enjoy some goodies from it.

Sorry you're not down further . I'm right there w/ you. I've really backed off on exercise. I was planning to keep working out this round, but I'm down to 1 light weight training day this week. Sigh. I was hoping to prevent the inevitable battle with the scale in P3 when I go back to a tougher routine. Sigh .

Dawn-must be stall/baby loss day . I'm stuck too, but it is my week 3, so I expected /dreaded. You're due for another drop!

Berta- back! We missed you sorry your trip was disappointing.

Angela-sorry your losses weren't better . But good for you sticking to plan and getting back after a PI. Many struggle after that. Hcg messes w/ TOM for me too. After a few months in P3/4 I get back to normal.

Reddy-Glad your round is going quickly for you! That's a victory itself!

I'm pleased w/ my energy level this round!! I really feel great! I'm a bit bored w/ the food, and the lightheaded ness is now accompanied by leg/foot cramps.
I'll break out the magnesium oil and see if that helps. Also practice getting up slowly!

Wed. is VLCD21. Not that I'm done yet. I'd really like to get below 148, but w/ this slow losing I'll be happy to get to 148. We'll see, 1 day at a time!

This round is SO different than my last 3! I used to get small drops like your .2 oz but not this round. My pattern now is lose 1-1 1/2, stall for 3-4 days and then lose another pound or two. So weird because I always used to get those little incremental losses. Hmmmm

WHAT You still haven't recieved it? How long has it been?I sure hope you didn't get scammed. The place you ordered from is the same place my DD purchased hers though.So I am sure it will arrive soon.

How was your trip? Did everything we spoke about turn out ok? I managed to stay the same weight for over a week and I can hardly believe it

Glad you're jumping back on P2...you'll do great!!!

Sorry to hear your trip wasn't so great At least you're home and it's done & over. Time to get back on with the routine, right?

I've been busy...haven't posted much...but read everything daily. I took a 4 day PI...went well...except I wasn't hungry much, and going off the HCG prompted my 2 1/2 week late TOM to come(and it was a tough one...drained a LOT of my energy...thank goodness my TOM's are only 48 hours long )...which was good in actuality. My lower back/right hip always aches when TOM is coming, and I was tired of waiting for it to show up. (Hubby is fixed so I know it's just wonky hormones due to HCG...cause I'm usually like clockwork). I was up about 2 lbs. from it and here in TX we finally got our 100+ degree days...so I was feeling some water in my feet & hands. Since then I have lost about 5-6 lbs., but been playing up/down with a lb. for 3-4 days...a stall...but I'm shrinking still in inches. But overall down 1.6 lbs. this week...which is the least amount I have ever lost in a week so far. I should have a whoosh soon...I have been on protocol perfectly this week.

I spent 2 hours trying on clothes in my closet...exciting to fit in a lot of them again, but it was also discouraging b'cuz I had been in them and let myself go...kwim? Anyway, now I have a lot of church/dressy clothes again for the fall.

I have about 18 lbs. to go for my first major goal, and I think I'm gonna do a full P3/P4. And then on to lose the last 20/25 lbs. to goal. I've been researching/collecting stuff for the yummy recipes...coconut oil, SF choc. chips, etc. and ready to enjoy some goodies from it.

It is SO good to be home again where I can control my eating.I did loose .4 today. I did manage to maintain and I can hardly believe it. Cause I was not perfect at all. But I did try to eat mostly meat and veggies. I had Starbucks Carmael Frapuccino twice but it didn't hurt me
One day I had grilled chicken breast sliced tomatoes and coleslaw. One evening I had grilled pork chops sliced tomatoes and mashed taters & gravy

Then a taco salad I fixed myself at sister n laws house. And another evening a bacon cheese burger and mixed fresh fruit.Don't remember what I had the other evenings.... For breakfast I had bacon and eggs, or sausage and eggs and mixed fruit and then the last breakfast I had crepes with eggs and sausage with a little sausage gravy on top and hash browns So even though I was not perfect PH3 (no bread and sugar) I still was very good for me.

I am going to do a complete PH3 & PH4 too as soon as this vial is empty. I am hoping it will last me two more weeks.I am going to try Judding.So 3weeks of PH3 and 8weeks of PH4.It does really help to do an interuption as now I am ready to go again and stay 100% PH2 Protocol.

You are doing great I am proud of you You will be to your first major goal before you know it girlfriend I am almost to my first mini goal of 250 I would Love to see that in the morning I was there once then cheated and went back up of course But marching on!


It is an awesome feeling to get into our clothes we havent worn for awhile.I bought three tops when I began this HCG and now they are too big so I can't wear them I do but they look awful

It was 104-109F in Wichita the entire time we were there just miserable. I ended up with a terrific headache one day but as soon as I cooled off and took a little nap it was gone

Yes it is nice to be home. It sounds like you have done very well this time.I am so happy for you. I still am in un belief about my maintainingI can hardly wait to get into the 240's. I was 222 when I married Dh 15years ago.So I am almost getting there.I am happy it won't take me 15 years I am taking this 10lbs at a time. I am praying for 250 in the morning.But I will take whatever.(don't have a choice)

Where and when are you leaving? Is it vacation or just a getaway?

I am not going to be on here every day but I will try to post my weight. I am just spending to much time on the PC when there are so much more important things I need to be doing.(Like cleaning house)

KUTGW. I am going to try JUDDD on PH3 & PH4 I think.PH wiht no bread or sweets of course

Helloo ladies! Welcome back Berta!

Today is my last day of P2 - down another .5 so I'm at 154.5 today. I actually even saw 153 and 153.5 a couple times but 154.5 appeared a majority of the time (dang scale!).

Last night I went with BF to the candlelight vigil thing down the street at the theater (I'm sure you've heard about it on the news) to support one of our friends. I've never been to anything like that before and the overall feel of the place was just eerie. While we were there our friend found out that her buddy didn't make it in the hospital. UGH!! So sad!!! I wish I never have to go through that, or any of you. Please send happy thoughts to those that are still fighting and staying strong in the hospital!

I don't recommend doing JUDDD on P3. I know I won't be doing it. Your body goes through a lot in P2 and it wants food when you are done!! Or at least I want food. I plan on doing a proper P3 where I eat all I want to satisfy my hunger with no starch and no sugar for 3 weeks. Then in P4, I will be doing JUDDD.

We are leaving on Sat for a 4 day getaway to the mountains of NC. Lake Lure is where we are going. My SIL is going for a week and could only get us a time share for a few days. But at least we are going away!!! We had fun when it was just me and DH there 2 years ago. I know that the kids will love it!

I'm just itchy. House is clean (whew!), and there's not much fun to do, it's 110 deg here today. Wish I were going on vacation . But, boredom makes it easier to stick to plan and manage the weight. Excitement usually means eating out too much, or social eating .fun but dangerous!

Haven't been on my comp all day but wanted to come and share my small victory.

After being up .4 yesterday, I woke up down .6 from there which officially put me in the 160's!! So happy to see that number on the scale!!!

For the past several months I've been dieting and exercising and gaining and losing the same few lbs juggling back and forth between 178 and 183 for MONTHS! It was like I was stuck and couldn't get past that spot and in my mind I was BUSTING my BUTT!

I'm so pumped on this diet right now and how well it's working and how it hasn't been that hard I am actually looking forward to the next stage and then another round!!!

I'm 169.8 today! My short goal is 160 my longer goal 145/150 which I haven't been since College!!! I will be beside myself with happiness if I lose at least another 5lbs this round which I think is doable with 11 days left! At least I hope!

Congrats! It's an awesome feeling, isn't it? When I started on this protocol two years ago, I was in the upper 180s, and got all the way down to 142. That's a bit low for me and I couldn't maintain, but I was okay with that. I am really happiest at 148-152. That's kind of my zone.

You'll get there, just keep doing what you're doing!

Thank you so much! It really really is!

I gained 50lbs in my pregnancy and losing that weight has been the biggest battle ever!

Everyone told me that the lbs would just "MELT OFF" from breast feeding but instead it was the opposite. I held onto the weight and even gained some I think! But b/c it wasn't all belly it re-distributed everywhere. I looked better pregnant that I did post partum!

Granted, I was at my heaviest ever when I got pregnant (175) so that didn't help. In reality, I'm fewer lbs now than I was pre-pregnancy but I don't look it. My body is TOTALLY different and the jeans I wore before I got pregnant do NOT fit! My belly still looks like I'm 4 months pregnant and refuses to go down!! (well it seems to finally be getting better thanks to HCG)

The first 6 months of my sons life I was so embarassed of my weight and uncomfortable in my skin. I didn't want to leave the house. I was hovering WAAAY to close to 200lbs. In March when I stopped Nursing, I was 196lbs and I was MISERABLE!!! That's when I started Atkins coupled with exercise. I lost about 10lbs in 2 months that way but then I just hit a plateau. I continued on it (doing strict induction) but all I did was lose and gain the same weight. If I so much as had a glass of wine I'd go up 4lbs! It sucked! I'm so thankful for HCG right now.

If Only I would have started it March, I could possibly be at my goal by now. But hindsight is always 20/20 right? I'm just happy to be where I am right now. THANK YOU HCG!!!
