Down another 1.2 lbs today and THRILLED by it.

Got my period today so I hope it doesn't slow me down too much!! If I lose at least .2 by tomorrow I will officially be in the 160's which would be AMAZING for me! I've been stuck in the low 180's for the past 4 + months while dieting and exercising hard core!!! Why didn't I do HCG sooner????

Oooh, what do you make yours with? I make them too, w. ground chicken. I like to add some soy sauce or braggs, ginger, onion powder, garlic, sweetener, ACV and broth. I add celery and sometimes, gulp, bell pepper - I know, very rogue!! But yummy!!!

I use ground chicken, too- For the P2 version, I omit a lot of the ingredients I would normally use but, it's pretty good!! I cook the meat about 90% through and then rinse it thoroughly and drain in a colander.. back in the pan with garlic, ginger, green onion, soy sauce, siracha, and a shake of rice vinegar. I add another shot of hot sauce just before rolling.. yummy!

It's one of my fave P2 items right now..

Figured out why I thought I was going insane. The medical supply company gave me a mixed lot of needles. They're not all the same.. I'm assuming that wasn't intentional on their part lol.

The needles from the first 2 days were 1/2 cc and the needle I used yesterday was 1 cc, so when I pulled back to 30 on the 1 cc one, it looked like so much less volume than when I pulled back to 30 on the 1/2 cc one. When I lined the needles up side by side the 30 mark of one was next to the 50 mark of the other, which explains why I suddenly was worried I'd given myself 50 cc's!

Nope, I'd done 150 iu's all the first 3 days, just the dumb inconcsistent needles tripped me up. I lowered down to 125 today, I was ridiculously hungry and headachy and miserable last night. From now on regardless of the size of the needle I'll just look for the 25 mark lol.

Haven't eaten yet today, I'm slightly physically hungry, but I'm having one of those bad days where psycologically, I just have no appetite. The one bright side of my day is that I woke up to my first loss, 3 pounds

Oh, those of you who use broth, where did you get it and what do the ingredients say?

I looked at every broth in the store the other day and all of them had at least SOME amount of sugar... I bought one that said less than 1% sugar but I haven't used it because I'm wary.

I also bought a veggie broth but it was made from carrots so I also haven't touched it yet just in case.

Happy Anniversary to me!! 18 years today with my husband. I cannot believe it has flown by so fast. It certainly doesn't seem like 18 years!!!

What to do for dinner though. We are still trying to figure that out Of course we usually do go out to eat, who doesn't? But I want to stay true to P2. I have finally moved down on the scale--not much but I am pleased it is down! I don't want to screw it up. I am really looking forward to seeing 125 on the scale tomorrow. I am this close to cheating because I am so frustrated! Seeing the same damm number on the scale every day for 5 days is infuriating Ugh!!! I can do this, I can do this. I will report in tomorrow with what we decide to do---and the results.

Happy Thursday!!

Happy anniversary, Dawn! That's a huge achievement. Do NOT cheat. It isn't worth your hard work. Do you want trouble stabilizing again? NO. So you do it right, keep your head in the game, and take an IOU for a date for P3.

You can do it!

I use sparing amounts of Better than Bouillion, it's good stuff and hasn't negatively affected any of my rounds.

I keep putting my family off by saying "we go on vacation next weekend. That can be our birthday/anniversary dinner out". I hope to use that tonight as well. I know I can do it!! I want to be skinnier than I do want to go out tonight. Bikini/bathing suit season for me starts next week Just wish the scale would reflect the hard work it goes into doing this P2

HAPPY ANNIVERSAY!!!!!! Wow!! You've got your birthday and anniversary in the same week? And you're in P2 for both of them? You're crazy lady!! Don't cheat though!! Go to a nice steak place. Get a shrimp cocktail or filet mignon or prime rib - all prepared w. no oil. You can calculate the right serving size by now . You can still enjoy a nice dinner out (w/o having to cook!!) and celebrate so dh doesn't feel slighted. You've been at this a long time. Finish strong so you'll stabilize well!! Or, if you go more bargain Am. Grill dinner, get the sliders or hamburger. That and a plain salad, or extra pickles on the side, always works for me . Have fun!!

And I agree. My family is ANXIOUSLY awaiting the end of my round too!! We're trying to eat out less anyway (healthier and cheaper) but when I'm on P2 I will maybe go out once a week (after church w. friends). Usually a bunless burger. Although if I know where I'm going I'll go on their website and if they have a good nutritional info decide based on that.

We'll be going out for dinner this week as my BIL is in town. Actually, come to think of it, my brother comes this week too.

Congrats Dawn! That's incredible. I was 4 when you got married lol I hope one day I can say that I've been married 18 years.

Did anyone happen to see my question about my friend? She can only get 18 VLCD's in prior to her vacation. I told her not to continue with the drops on vacay as it would be like loading for the whole time. Should she go up to 1000 calories?

Oh, and I'm down to 183.4 today.

.5 more and I'm celebrating 50 pounds lost! wahoo!

Hi everyone! Congrats to all of our losers!

Chouter - Your round looks nice so far! Hooray for consistent losses!

Manders - Yay for almost -50!!

Dawn - happy anniv! What did you decide on - steak or shrimp? Either way - yum!

Julie - Nice loss!

I'm down a bunch today!! 156.5, oh yeah! I'm pondering calling my round soon, my number tomorrow will be my determining factor I think. If it's a great number (which it WILL BE) I'm going to stop the juice and start P3 on Sunday. If it's a not as great number as I want (but it's going to be great, just sayin..) I will start P3 on Mon or Tues. Not a real big difference in days.. I just want to be done!

Begins tomorrow

Hello! . I'm new!

I am beginning a 40 day round tomorrow.
That means loading for Friday and Saturday and then VLC on Sunday. I'm taking Rx hcg, sublingually. I've tried homeopathic in the past, but I was ravenous the entire time and had a difficult time with stabilization when p2 ended. Last time I did it alone without support...and that was rough!

Hoping for better results this time around.

mello! You'll do well! Support here is great!

Amy-woohoo! sounds like a good place to end! You'll be all nice and stable before your camping trip! Nice!

Dawn-I'm glad you're going out! Celebrate, carefully!

Manders-congrats on your 50lb loss! (confident it will be tomorrow!)

Chouter-losing like a star!

Still feeling good! Not much hunger, only right before I eat, which is perfect. I'm a bit lightheaded, which is annoying . But, sure beats ravenous, exhausted or miserable, right? I am more grouchy than normal, shorter fuse (sorry kids). This too shall pass. 1 more week (at least). Time really seems to go slowly for me in P2 .

Manders, can she do a planned interruption? 2 days before she goes on vacation (assuming she is on hHCG) she can stop taking it, continue to eat P2 those two days, then eat P3 while she is vacationing. As long as the interruption is less than 2 weeks, she can just jump back on P2 by dosing the day after she gets back and eating P2 again. If the vacation is longer than 2 weeks, you have to reload. She may gain some weight since it is less than 20 injections... From Simeon's:

Unforeseen Interruptions of Treatment.
When a patient knows beforehand that he will have to travel and be absent for more than four days, it is always better to stop injections three days before he is due to leave so that he can have the three days of strict dieting which are necessary after the last injection at home. This saves him from the almost impossible task of having to arrange the 500 Calorie diet while en route, and he can thus enjoy a much greater dietary freedom from the day of his departure. Interruptions occurring before 20 effective injections have been given are most undesirable, because with less than that number of injections some weight is liable to be regained. After the 20th injection an unavoidable interruption is merely a loss of time.

HTH!

So sad. Followed protocol yesterday but I'm up .4 today!!

I did get my period yesterday so that could be it but I'm wondering If I may be having issues with tomatoes bc looking at my journal I'm noticing that to be the common thread to my problem days on the scale! Am I going to continue to gain while on my period? Should I stop HCG while on it? Don't know what to do!

That is awesome! Here's to a great number!

Welcome! This is a great place to get support!

Amy-woohoo! sounds like a good place to end!

I hear you on the grouchy...the other day I took my DH's head off for really no reason...luckily he's on the juice too...so he just took it!

Could easily be the period. Don't stress. I have done four rounds and have always stayed on the HCG during my period. Plus many times I would bump up a bit for no apparent reason and then continue dropping.

I dropped 1.4 today!!! I was worried because I had a temporary crown put in yesterday and thought the Novocaine might cause a delay in weight loss. Guess not! I have dropped 11.8 lbs in 11 days! This is unbelievable to me. Best round ever for me!! Praying that it continues!!!

Have a good Friday everyone!

Happy Anniversary, Dawn!

Oh my- a birthday and an anni in the same month..!! How did you make out last night??

Hubby and I will be celebrating 19 years together next week and 11 years married in August. Crazy how the time flies!! Some things seem like yesterday and a lot seems like eons ago..

I cheated with a glass of wine last night.. eeek. Fortunately, still showed a loss this morning..not much, probably would have been more.. back in the zone today, for sure!!
