We're calling baby #4 official, due on March 24th-ish. Not saying anything in real life for a few more months, but I'm having much more confidence this is a healthy pregnancy than the one in October was, and I am also confident it wasn't any hCG dosing causing the positive.

Still following hunger cues and finding myself naturally eating about 1000-1400 calories right now. Wow! It's been fairly effortless, except for convincing myself not to boredom eat or overeat when I'm satisfying my hunger. But once I identify that I'm not feeling hungry its just a matter of finding other things to do. Novel concept, right?

I'll still be continuing my TTap, it is safe through pregnancy and highly recommended. I'll also probably keep hanging around here and the other low carb boards, since I am planning on a low to moderate carb pregnancy.

My husband is going fishing this evening (it was a last minute thing) so just the kids and myself will be going to the campaign meeting, then we have until Thursday before daddy gets back. I will have to watch myself for boredom eating like a HAWK when he's gone, but I think I can do it. After Bearpaw we were supposed to be less busy, but somehow got slammingly filled up AGAIN. Oy.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a wonderful blessing!!!!!:hug s:

Agh!! Who am I kidding?? It was my birthday and I had cake!! But it was just a bite and it was eh, ok. Not the best. DH did great!!! He got me a plain yellow cake so I wasn't tearing into it. If it were chocolate I would have devoured it LOL. I am OK on the scale today, so hoping I don't get a shock tomorrow. But I am OK with any gain from my birthday indiscretion. I ate it, I deserve it. Onward and downward!!

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

so i am the same weight today....that makes for day three. Do we call that a stall? I'm thinking not yet, but would like some wise words of advice. i am been eating on plan, no cheats. Yesterday was my daughter's birthday and i got thru cake and icecream without a bite. Phew, it was tough though, i adore sugary, buttery, ohsobad for you frosting!

Happy Tuesday all!

You may be stalled but I'd keep waiting patiently, the scale not moving is very normal in the protocol. Maybe hide it for a week and then climb back on to see your progress?

STS today.. OK by me. I had a nice loss yesterday.
I am getting antsy this round... my head is in the game, but I am really feeling the constraints of P2 right now. I am unsure of how long I will continue with this round. I am contemplating between 21 and 35 days. Maybe I'll just pick the middle number and go with 28. After doing that short (21 day) round and regaining so quickly, I am hesitant to go less than 28. But i know that 40 is too much.. WHat to do, what to do...

Why don't you take it one day at a time afterthought minimum round length and assess how you're feeling?

Just want to say hi to the HCG group! I used to post here a while back. I started HCG back in 2008 into 2009 and lost about 70 pounds. Gained about 10 pounds back, but have maintained the rest of the 60 pound loss. Starting a new round tomorrow to hopefully get off these pesky 20 pounds. Today is Load day 2 and I'm feeling. I've been trying for many months to do another round, but I have been at a good size for so long that I have not been motivated enough to start again. So I'm hoping posting will get me going. Can't wait to talk with some of you!

Good idea I will heed your advice. VLCD21 is 7/27/12. I can make it till then, and will probably continue on... just get ants in my pants sometimes!

I'm on loading day 2 as well and I JUST CAN'T eat lol... it's so awful.

I was looking forward to loading, thought it would be fun and easy, but the hcg must already be in my system cause I have felt NO hunger and NO desire to eat... I forced myself to eat a cookie and felt so nauseous.

Thanks! For me, it was the combination of running and calorie counting to maintain.

Well, my losses came to a screeching halt today. I lost only .1, but at least I didn't gain! Last night I could not stop myself, I had a handful of macadamia nuts and a glass of wine. UGH. I always know this is not going to get me the results I want, and yet I did it anyway. Oh well. Onward.

Today I have stayed right on plan. I hope I don't get the second day bounce.

Starting weight: 169.1
After loading: 172.8 (+ 3.7)
VLCD #1 - 172.2 (- .6)
VLCD #2 - 170.3 (-1.9)
VLCD #3 - 168.8 (-1.5)
VLCD #4 - 167.3 (-1.5)
VLCD #5 - 166.9 (-0.4)
VLCD #6 - 165.6 (-1.3)
VLCD #7 - 164.8 (-0.8)
VLCD #8 - 164.1 (-0.7)
VLCD #9 - 164.0 (-0.1)

I think I'd give it another day. If you're still the same tomorrow then do an apple day. I have never done one. They don't really get the weight to go faster, but it's more to make us feel better. Hope the scale catches up!!

I hear ya!! I'm bored with it I think. I want something more to eat, and better choices. Sigh. It's just the mid-round blahs. No hunger which makes it worth it!! And I'm still losing which helps too. I'm going to take it day by day (as Taryl mentioned) and see how you feel.

Those of us already into P2 wish we could have a cookie!! Warm Tollhouse cookies are my downfall!!

Chouter-you dodged a major bullet there!! Be strong and hang in there! It's really only a short time in the grand scheme of things. I'm right there w. you w. the struggle. Tempted constantly, but I know it's just a short time.

I'm still working the plan. All clean. It's hard though!! popcorn at the movies today was sooooo tempting. Did have a Coke Zero but I don't really consider that a cheat. VLCD13 down 0.6 and happy w. that!! Only 3lbs until my LDW from last round. I've got at least 10 more days to get there, and hopefully beyond. I'd love to see 145, but we'll see. 1 day at a time!!

Nitey-night!

Well, still not much of a change in my weight. Down 0.2 today. But I still am at 126 and have been for days and days. I am going to see if it will drop without me doing another apple day. I have another full week of P2 so we will see what happens tomorrow. I may just lose it and decide to do another apple day tomorrow. But today I am eating protocol. Just want to show my body I am serious and hopefully I will win!!!

Have a great Wednesday!!!!!

Good morning ladies!

Down a half pound today. I was hopeful the scale would move, and thankful that it did! I was crossing my fingers to have a decent loss this week (as we have a wedding to go to on Saturday), but i think i just need to focus on a decent loss for the entire round. 20lbs would be fab, but frankly, i'll take what i can get!

Good morning! Happily, I did not experience a 2nd day bounce from my wine incident, I was down .6 today. YAY! It pays to get right back on plan after a cheat. Long day in work today, and then Crossfit. I haven't been for a full week, so I am ready!

That's so funny that you homeschool (I do also but my oldest and youngest want to "try school" this year...insert pit in my stomach!). I have a friend who also homeschools, lives in Alaska and also goes by the name Arctic Mama! When I first saw your name on these boards, I got excited thinking it was her LOL

Hmmmm... STS today. Still OK with that. Tomorrow I may not be. I am wondering if it is the ground sirloin that I used for P2 chili. It could also be that this weight is @ where I stabilized for a brief period of time my last round.
Chouter, I love that you called it your wine incident.. I have had a few of those myself over the past couple rounds. It cannot be helped, although my hangovers are fierce on P2!

Would love to join this thread for some addition motivation!

Down another .8 this morning! Today is P2D10.

I'm down 10lbs! So exciting! I hope I can continue some steady losses through out the rest of this. To think I'm nearly half way done is very cool b/c so far I haven't had that much trouble with this diet.

Hunger has been minimal - there were a few days where I had some late night hunger but overall, it's sooo doable.

I'm so glad I finally took the plunge to HCG. After struggling for MONTHS I'm finally seeing some substantial loss! (Prior to HCG I did Atkins strict induction for 4 months. Took me 4 months to lose about 18lbs and I was doing circuit training 4 times a week too!) Finally below my pre-pregnancy weight although my body looks totally different and I seriously look like I'm 4 months pregnant with this damn stubborn belly!

But one day at a time right?

Ah and Arctic Mama CONGRATS on your Pregnancy! How exciting!!! Are you continuing HCG through it or do you have to stop? (just curious)

Ms Kayla Paige, I had a really tough time loading too. I thought it would be the most fun I ever had in my life and instead I struggled to eat and felt nauseous.

Congrats on the losses everyone! If no losses, just keep chugging along.

Today is VLCD 1 and I gained about 5 pounds. A lot of water weight this time, but I sure enjoyed my burger and fries yesterday.
So far I have not had any hunger, which is a positive. I'll see how the rest of the day goes. Hope everyone has a great day!

I homeschool too!! Just started last year and we're loving it!! Dd(12) is starting "jr high" this year and toyed w/ "going back" to regular school. I told her she could, and she's a vball player so wanted to play on a good school team. But she chose to stay home w. me . I think it's the lack of homework . I'm going to enroll her in a few online college courses this year to see how she does.

You guys are losing great!! WTG!!

Dawn- the scale isnt' going as quickly as you'd hoped . But you are shrinking. Have you tried on your bikini yet? How's it looking?

VLCD14, down 0.4 to 150.6. I'll take it. Still on plan, no cheats, very minimal and occasional hunger, feeling good. I'm leaning toward a 21 day round for now, but we'll see. I'd like to get to 148, or lower, but next Wed. That's about 3lbs in 7 days. I'm not sure I'll get there. But, I'm pretty content. Just a bit bored. I don't actually mind this P2, I'm cooking for the fam and dining out w.o really feeling overly tempted. I'm just growing weary of it. Sigh. But, if the scale keeps going down and I'm getting smaller it's worth the temporary sacrifice.

I hope I continue to feel well. If so, I may extend to try to get a bit lower. 148 was a fantasy weight at one point, but I'm realizing w. hcg I can go beyond that if I really want to. Kind of a revolutioinary thought to this lifetime fat chick!! 1 day at a time. We can do it!!
