Spices, Seasonings, and the like..

I'm generally seeing, for the most part, that seasonings and spices are OK to use.

Is there a limit to how much I should be using or can I just sprinkle salt, pepper and garlic to my hearts content?

Are there seasonings I should look out for? (obviously anything with sugar added in is a big no)

Soy sauce??

Loading starts tomorrow. 1st round ever! I'm nervous, and excited at the same time. It's hard to believe that, if all goes well, I'll have reached my goal come September!! That's so crazy to think about

High desert CA?! I have family in Hesperia

Salt and soy sauce....could cause a blip on the scale. So use that sparingly until you learn about your body.

The rest, I use at hearts content however I do add it to ******.

I avoid any starches in my spices. But that is me

what would be some examples of starchy spices? starches are the one thing that still can be vague for me..

For example your standard steak seasoning. I read labels and if it has starch or trans fats, corn syrup or food color, I do not eat.

Thanks!

I'm planning on keeping the spices to their simplest form, none of the mixed varieties. Plain thyme, paprika, salt/pepper, etc..
