So I will see everyone when I get home and I am taking my scales with me.We have a suite so I can still weigh in every morning!

OH I forgot.... I did not put a LDW down on my avi as I am continuing PH2 upon arriving home.
Congrats on being under LDW and I hope your hotel works out for vaca. Try priceline, I've gotten several good dals that way. Have fun!! (but not too much )

is this a big no no? 20 calories doesn't seem much and i still want to eat more spinach w/chicken for dinner.
The spinach is fine, but I'm not a fan of Walden Farms stuff. It's been known to stall some, and has too many artificial ingredients for me. YMMV. Hope all goes well for the second half of your round .

Dawn-glad you're down from your apple day, and that it's over . Hope your losses pick up from there!!

Taryl-glad you're through that rough patch!! Hope you continue feeling well. You're experienced enough w. this plan to ride out the scale. I'm going to stay off the scale for a few days. I usually stall in week 2, which I guess starts today, so we'll see. I also weighed a bit earlier than usual.

I got my hair cut and highlighted. It's a nice "pick me up" (without relying on food to celebrate ). Fit back in my size 8 jeans today but noticed my things look awful. Much more flabby and cellulitey than they did a few weeks ago. Wonder what's up with that? Hope it's fat getting ready to vamanoose!!

Plugging away.... VLCD7

Me too! I don't worry about who I date these days. If a guy who is 5'9" want to date me, he'd better love me at 6'2" because I've got a closet full of high heels! I started out at 210. If you want to see kinda where you might end up, you can check out my pics under success stories on the main page. I need to post most recent from Mexico. I have a good bikini shot AND I weighed myself today (just a peek) and as I thought, I am up almost exactly 5 pounds from when I left. After everything I ate in Mexico--I will take 146 and OWN IT!

Manders is 100% right - boredom eating is so counterproductive and one of the things the protocol is such a great tool to break you of - you CAN'T eat when bored/upset/stressed on true protocol and that makes us have to address our emotions another way. Given that emotional eating is what makes many of us fast, this is CRUCIAL to deal with.

In general, whole you can split up your meals, you should have 3-4 hours between lunch and dinner. And no, generally you cannot eat your veggie and then eat more of it later. One serving, of whatever size your calories allow for, in one sitting. Sometimes making a soup and sipping it all day is what is needed to get through major hunger the first few days, but that's about it.

If you're bored find something to do, or drink tea or plain coffee. But leave the veggies for your mealtimes

Nothing wrong with staying off the scale, Julie! If I wasn't an old hat at this and feeling better I'd be a lot more freaked out or frustrated with the scale, but I can't control it, only my choices and behaviors. So I just took a deep breath, hoped for peristalsis, and moved on with my day

That's good. I'm on day 18 and I've lost 10.6. But technically when I look at the numbers, I'm only 5.2 below my preload.

Still, a success is a success.

Have a good trip Berta!!!

You go girl isn't it amazing the confidence the hcg can bring? I know losing the weight for me has been so much a factor in me even getting a job.

I have to admit, I've always been a bit of a man-killer. But this time the breakup feels pretty final, so I'm totally ready to move on.

I am still sleeping with the teddy bear my ex gave me, but I'm definitely in single girl mode. That's why there's TWO boys on deck, not just one.

So if I were to go out for sushi on monday with one of the new guys, what can I have that's safe? I normally love salmon nigri, so could I have that minus the rice?

No salmon on the protocol, or most of the common sushi fish (they're almost universally high fat). I would put off the date until P3, where you can have a ton of sashimi and sushi without issue. Because in P2 there is almost nothing you can have.

At a place like Applebee's or some Mexican restaurants you can have a dry salad and baked, naked chicken or sirloin. But even then there are often oils snuck in there. I wanted sushi dates during P2 and couldn't think of anything but sunomono that would have been okay, so I just waited.

Well... I think it's probably best for me to get out there and go out with new guys, so I'll go and see what sort of menu options they have. Maybe they'll have a salad or something. He's been asking me out for a while, so I'm not going to bail out on him now. I'm super super super excited for it. He knows I'm gluten and dairy free, so that's at least a start.

If you must go, sunomono is definitely your best bet. It is a vinegar marinated cucumber salad. That and some grilled chicken, or possibly miso soup (not protocol but not likely to break it, either) are about all you could have. It's your choice, of course, but those are safe bets and on protocol. Anything else is dicey, especially when sugar and oil is added to almost all sauces in Japanese and Chinese cuisine.

Now. If you could get him to take you to Vietnamese, your options would expand quite a bit. Shrimp spring rolls are nearly protocol with no sauce and the rice wrapper in place of a grissini. One would be a-okay

Interesting! I had no idea. I don't eat the grissini anyways. Thank you! That's so good to know. I appreciate the info.

I think he was trying to impress me with the sushi thing. He doesn't really strike me as a sushi kinda guy. More like a beer, burgers and NASCAR kind of guy, and THAT is totally my kind of guy LOL I like em rough.

On another note, I'm having one of those days where I think I could eat an entire cow's worth of protein.

Ugh, I HATE those days. If the option is cheat badly or eat extra protein the extra protein is preferable, but fortunately I've been able to white knuckle it with tea and coffee and felt better the next morning. Hopefully you'll feel better tomorrow morning, too!

I had a bit of extra protein. I was VERY active at work today so I think that drained me. I go up and down the stairs quite a few times every couple of hours and its really exhausting cleaning. I do everything there so I'm just wiped.

Last question before bed, I had to start a round of antibiotics today. Will this affect me at all during P2?

It might, but not permanently. You may see some stomach upset or indigestion, maybe even some bloating, but none of that should affect stabilization, just temporarily bounce the scale as your body fights infection.

Good morning ladies!! I lost 3.6 lbs this morning!!! :-P
That makes almost 12 lbs in two weeks. Woohoo!! I love this protocol. Thank you all for encouraging me to keep going. The only thing i did different was eat beef and crab the last two days. I was terrifed of eating beef, i thought it would be to heavy. I haven't even pooped in two days. Im so pumped.

Happy releases!!

Some days- Protocol just sucks!

But, sticking to it is so worth it!! Down another pound- and I can feel the inches disappearing. It's weird, my 'main' measurements haven't changed too drastically yet- but, I can see little spots where fat deposits are releasing, like my inner-knee and just below my bra line- front and back. I'll take it!!

So, R1P2 VLCD10- (-6.8) That's about average protocol weight loss, yes??

Good morning ladies!

Well, in spite of working out hard yesterday, I still lost 1.5 lbs! The workout was the hardest yet, and my energy to power through was lower than usual, but I managed. It wasn't fun. I was very tempted to up my protein, but I stuck to plan. I had an apple to eat pre-workout, but there was no time to eat it. Next time I'll try to get it in and see if it makes a diff.

Have a great day!

That's an excellent drop!

I'll take it!!

So, R1P2 VLCD10- (-6.8) That's about average protocol weight loss, yes??

Very much so. By the end of the protocol most women average half a pound per day in loss, some slightly more or less. You're doing really well

Great loss! And the apple may make the difference, try and let us know.

Ugh, I shouldn't be on here saying hi, it's only 5:30 am in my neck of the woods. I randomly woke at 4:00 with an upset stomach and can't get back to sleep, but I'm coming upon our insanely busy time with one of the candidates we're helping and her booth at our local fair is today through Sunday, with the parade and barbecue Saturday. I NEED sleep to deal with all of this. Boo! And I also need my stomach to settle.

WOW...-3.6 is huge!!! Great job! Keep it up...it eventually comes off. I usually have a pattern...lose, lose, lose, lose, STS, tiny gain, lose, STS, lose, lose, lose, etc. but it adds up when you look at it weekly.

You rock
