First VLCD today for me. I gained 20 back of my original 50 lost...but I ate junk food like no one's business for two months...my fault entirely. Note to self...food does not lessen stress or make problems go away.
![]() Am just getting over bronchitis too...feeling fat and blah...but really hopeful with the HCG to recover the skinny and move on. ![]() Going to get a much needed haircut and highlight today. Here's to a good start to a new round! |

Good Morning Ladies
Today is my second VLC day with no HCG and I still have no hunger is that for real? I am also down one lb today making for a total so far of 6 lbs. and I have two more days to eat vlc..... well actually tomorrow is my 3rd day BUT... I want to do Thurs vlc also as we leave Friday for vacation. I am wondering when I return IF I do go back to PH2 do I have to go a complete 23day round? I am asking because I accidentally knocked the vial over the other day a some spilled out. I do not know how much... so I will not know how many days I have left in it? So AGAIN I am not certain what the best route would be to take. Go to PH3 or try for another 23days PH2 Decisions.... decisions I really would like to loose some more weight before going to PH3 for three weeks and PH4 for eight? That's a long time. I wouldn't mind if I stabelize this time and lose weight in PH4. So I will see how Low Carb eating or Judddd does for me. I prefer JUDDD as of now but again I will have to see how I feel when I get back. Tameka ![]() I am happy you are back I have wondered where you went to and if you were still truckin ![]() Angela,Taryl, Dawn,Moonriver, Chouter and anyone else I missed .We can do this ladies.... WE CAN!! ![]() ![]()

Manders - Woo hoo for hip bones!! Now you can head into P3 (is that what
Berta - I'm heading into P3 too, so I'll see you in that thread in a few days! I've done low carb in the past and really liked it. What I didn't like, though, was how I gained all of the weight back! Hopefully with a solid P3 and P4 you might feel like heading into P2 again. I really think if you're able to stick with it HCG can solve a lot of metabolic issues and help us heal from so many years of problems. And I hate to tell you this, but whether P3 or low carb. . . no potatoes! Potatoes are seriously my favorite food, so I am totally with you on that! I miss them so much! What I don't miss, however, is my stomach touching the steering wheel!! ![]() Dawn - So sorry for the apple day. I hope it's not too hard and that it produces a big loss for you! Artic Mama - Mosquitoes love me too, so I feel for you! I hate getting bit! I got cellulitis two weeks ago from my iron shot and it was miserable. The doc suggested soaking in the tub to help the inflammation. It messed up the scale a bit for me too. I hope that doesn't happen for you! I was really, really swollen, though. I hope it gets better really soon!! I hope everyone I missed is doing well! I went to the doc this morning and they have shut me down. I was starting to lose some lean mass instead of fat. That combined with my hunger they feel is a sign my body is processing the hcg too well and it's time to give it a break. I am grateful that someone who knows more than me gets to make the decision! If I were doing this on my own I think I would be trying to push through and get to 40 days. And if I wouldn't know what it was doing to my body. So my weight this morning was 250. Is that my LDW? Or is tomorrow's weight LDW? I had already done today's shot, so tomorrow will be the first of my 3 days. So I've lost 22 pounds, 13 of which were pure FAT!! I am looking forward to P3 but am a little nervous. I've done low carb before which is really similar. What I'm trying to focus on is understanding true hunger. I've been watching the Weight Loss Apocalypse videos and I ordered the book yesterday. I really think if I do it right HCG can change my life permanently. I just need to do a lot of fixing what is broken, including my hunger cues. I have been watching a lot of hcg videos on You Tube. There is so much inspiration out there! Have a great day, everyone!!

Berta, it is generally useful to continue after a planned interruption for a good week or so, minimum. You don't have to do a full 23 days, though, from what I understand.
I'm down another 1.2 pounds today to hit 164.6. This is going to stop soon but man I'm enjoying it while it happens . It's like testing the Stall Fairies to see when they'll strike me down ![]() I also have some nice pictures to share from my last P3. I weighed two pounds more in the 'after' picture on the right than the 'before' on the left, but am visibly smaller and more firm. All I did was maintain and do TTap for seven weeks. Can I get a shout out for the magic that is TTap? ![]() ![]() The first ones were taken on April 10th and the second set on June 10th.

Taryl - you look amazing!! Way to go girl! If that doesn't show the silliness of scale obsession, then idk what would. Hehe ;]
Berta - I'm pretty sure you'd do three weeks of P3 and FIVE weeks of P4, for a TOTAL of eight weeks in between your P2s, as Taryl has said. I'd continue back on P2 if I were you, but you can make that decision upon your return from Wichita. No one can really make that decision for you. :] Christy - Congrats on a successful round! Yay for P3! Dawn - HI! I'm not on P2 right now, sorry that I lurk in the shadows! Hugs to everyone!

Berta - Google TTap workouts and you should get the company's site. They're basically rehabilitative, bodyweight resistance workouts by a marvelous lady named Teresa Tapp. They're both very challenging and physically gentle, anyone can do them because they require that you go to your personal max flexibility and strength and build from there. The better you get at them, the LESS work you actually have to do.
I got those differences in just seven weeks of 15 minute workouts three times a week and 30-40 minute workouts the other two weekdays, with weekends off. And I actually had been on vacation in Seward right before the 'after' picture was taken and was sick and hadn't worked out in a week! Still, even with a big old pizza in my tummy it looks more trim ![]() |

![]() I am jsut doing an interuption for a week. But I will be in PH3 in about another month or so. Did the Dr shut you down from HCG or just from the VLCdays? You have done really great. I would have lost alot more had it not been for my not sticking with protocol on the 4th and actually many other times too ![]() Last edited by Berta48; 07-10-2012 at 09:56 AM.. |

It is ONLY P4 that changes duration and gets longer with each passing round. P4 is going to be five weeks on your current round. Next round (round three) your P4 will increase to eight weeks. Everything else stays the same. ETA - yeah, I can give a chart Round 1 - P3 = 3 weeks, P4 = 3 weeks Round 2 - P3 = 3 weeks, P4 = 5 weeks Round 3 - P3 = 3 weeks, P4 = 8 weeks Etc etc I personally wasn't counting your homeopathic round because that doesn't really have the same immunity issues rXhCG does, and the immunity is one of the reasons for increasingly longer P4's. So last round was your first rX round and this is rX round 2, in my mind, for you. Last edited by Arctic_Mama; 07-10-2012 at 10:13 AM.. |

Thanks ladies!! I am excited!
Berta, the doc isn't shutting me down from HCG permanantly, just this round because he feels like my body needs a break. Sorry I got confused what you were doing. I hope you have a great vacation and are able to get right back on plan! Taryl, googling TTap now! You look fantastic! It's so cool to see that your body keeps changing in P3! And no worries, I feel pretty comfortable with the true protocol and I just take inspiration from the You Tube videos. I have heard some crazy stuff, though! |

WTG!! And I 100% agree. It's so nice to have someone else make that decision for you. I've learned to trust my body more. When it's fully depleted, hungry and run down, that's my signal to stop. I hope to make it 4 weeks, but we'll see. I can't imagine doing 40 days. Quote:
That stall fairy is not welcome here either. And thank you for sharing your pictures. So good to have that visual reminder that exercise and fitness overrules the scale!! Woohoo!! you look great!!Quote:
Tameka-you're doing well. Keep plugging away and you'll be in virgin territory soon!! I think that's almost everyone VLCD6 today and I'm down another lb overnight!! Even with a workout! Still feeling good. I'm glad I can still workout a bit and it not kill the scale. I did weights too . Took dh and dd(12) to workout too. I'd really like it to be a habit for all of us, esp. dd. If she can grow up always knowing about healthy eating and exercise as being "normal" I really hope it'll just be a natural part of her life. I was always obese and mostly sedentary. I didn't want to try new things (rollerblading, surfing, etc) and would prefer a movie and dinner. I'd like our family to be active and stay that way. A hiking or camping vacation is normal for us. Our girls are up for crazy hikes (like The Narrows in Zion Nat'l Park this May-hiking in the freezing Virgin River). I hope we can all stay active. I'm loving it! Have a great day ladies. One day at a time.

Berta, if you were getting trapeze workouts I think your spell checker corrected it before you pressed the return key. Google will send you 'trap workouts' instead, but you must click the link to view 'TTap' workouts instead. It's in blue at the top of the page.
Or hey, here an easier idea. Google 'Teresa Tapp' instead. The first link is to the main TTap site. |

This morning when I weighed myself it said 184. I almost fell off the scale!!!! I weighed myself again and it said 185. So I'm going with the second one. Which is still 1.4 less than yesterday. My TOM is finally leaving, so I think that PLUS the fact that I've been having almost no soda and I've been drinking lots and lots of water is the key here. So it's day 17 today and I've lost 10 pounds, although I'm only 3 below my preload weight. Once I hit 182, I'll have lost 50 pounds. :jump joy: I think I will die of shock (hopefully not) when I get to 179. I haven't been in the 170's since I was... 13? |
