Starting soon
This has been a great forum to get a better understanding of the hHCG/HCG experience. There are no docs in my town who rx HCG so I made an apt. @ the end of the month when I'm traveling, but the posts about hHCG seem so positive, I think I'll give it a try. The sticky says netrition is out of the pellets but I found them online so hope to start when they get here.
Good luck to you all, I'm a season dieting pro, have lost all my weight on WW and on Atkins, and like a bad penny it just keeps showing back up |

I'm in Alaska, too! Hello neighbor!
As for lotion, I use Aveeno, Keri, or Amlactin. They have no food oils in them, just silicones, and are fine on protocol. The Amlactin is amazing stuff ![]() I would recommend NOT seeing a clinic about hCG. Oftentimes they don't know the protocol themselves, and charge a ransom for their bad information. Buying the hcg and mixing it yourself, doing protocol on your own, is not nearly as hard as it seems and is a more financially viable alternative. It also makes you understand the intricacies of the protocol much better, having to administer it yourself. If I can do it, anyone can! I just order all my mixing supplies and such online and then buy the dietary items at Freddy's.

As for meds, I have taken aspirin, Tylenol, and ibuprofen with no issues. I start with the first two and the ibuprofen is only for emergencies like migraines, but I've seen no deleterious effects from any of them in terms of weight loss or stabilization.

Thanks, good to know Aveeno & Advil are okay, you've made remarkable progress, can I ask how much time you give between rounds? The videos that the Anchorage doc says 2 days but that they are loading days, but I get the impression from this board that most folks are giving much more time between rounds.

He's a complete moron, sorry. I give the exact amount of time the protocol suggests and do not short it, at ALL. That means 3 weeks of P3, 3 of P4 for the first round. Then increasingly longer P4's for subsequent rounds.
If you need a clean copy of ATW Simeons' "Pounds and Inches" I am happy to email you one, just private message me. That is the protocol and needs to be followed to the letter for the best succes (in my opinion). I should mention with my own losses that half of them were not on hCG, but gradually over the last three years. It is excellent, but weight can definitely be lost by other methods Last edited by Arctic_Mama; 07-08-2012 at 10:34 PM.. |

ha ha ha ha count on Taryl to give you the straight scoop! if he's a moron, she'll say it! LOL
YES, follow protocol to the letter. The breaks between rounds gets longer. I have followed those breaks myself except the last one and I ended up redoing it. Them's the facts. Now, to be fair, not everyone seems to have the same issues, but for me, if I don't follow protocol to the letter, I pay for it. Was always that way in school, too - 4 of us cut, I'm the one who gets nailed Hcg was the only way I could lose, and I suspect now after menohell, even more so. Good luck to you!

Well I'm taking your advice, cancelled the apt. W/ the Anchorage doc, already received my HCG in the mail. I would start but I leave Saturday for a very food centric trip (3 day food vendor show)), all attempts at dieting would be undone. When I get back I'm supposed to start TOM, so that puts me a few more days out. But the pellets are here, I'm read up & ready to go.
