Back from cruise - P2 again!

I've been maintaining nicely for a while, probably stabilized around 128# +/- 2#. Sort of had decided that I would really like to stabilize at 125# ...

Anyway, my husband and I went on a 10-day (+2 days of plane travel) river boat cruise (Nuremberg, Germany to Paris, France) - on board the boat continual gourmet meals, and when in Paris I fell in love with their croissants filled with chocolate and almond paste ... and the plane trips were very frustrating (delays, broken air-conditioners, etc.) and I ate poorly ...

Got home Wednesday - morning weight = 136#. Immediately started a P2 round. I lost 3# the first day, and 1.75# the second (on day3 now) - so I'm at 131.25# - actually not nearly as much "damage" as I had expected!

I think I'll aim for 125# this round - and it's so very nice to know that even with an occasional indulgence, I have a sure-fire method of getting back to my desired weight!

I've been low-carbing since 01/01/1994 (weighed >200#) - reached my goal weight in 1995 (125#) - maintained with a few blips (gaining up to 160#) along the way - lost weight on HCG but hated the no-fat! - seem to be maintaining comfortably with IF and loving it! ...

Great job Bonnie!! Sounds like you had a fantastic trip!!! And a great attitude while there. Enjoying the pleasures of being overseas and just relaxing about what to eat. The foods sounds just delicious. And of course we know how to take it off!! Wonderful start to this round!!

Welcome back!!

That trip sounds like so much fun. Isn't it great knowing we can either do correction days or another reshaping round to get back to goal? In previous diets I have used during my weight loss journey I always hated the fear of slight regains because I never knew a sure fire method to get them back under control besides major calorie restricting. But hcg gave me all the tools for my toolbox of losing AND maintaining that loss and I am immensely grateful.

Have a GREAT P2!

The trip was great - there are definite perks to being old and retired! And it is really nice to be able to get my weight quickly back under control!

I just bought some extra HCG from Netrition - sure hope it remains available in the future! It seems as though, if something works with no side effects, then the FDA has to jump in and control it ...

We're going to Cancun this October, and I no longer am worried about my weight - I'll eat moderately but well, and everything will be okay!

I totally agree with you on how wonderful it feels to have a "quick fix" if things get out of control. I over-indulged with my delicious red wine, cheese and nuts and am up 8 pounds. Not going to let that happen again, as it's always the same result. Starting to load tomorrow and am very excited to feel that HCG (I do Releana) high. Keep up the good work...you all inspire me.

Six days, and I'm down 7 pounds - but this round I am hungry??? I ordered new hcg, should arrive sometime tomorrow, I'll try it and see if it makes a difference.

I'm also light-headed, especially when changing positions (i.e., sitting to standing, etc.) - so maybe there is more going on - I think I might also have some sinus issues right now ...

nectar: wine, nuts, and cheese really shouldn't do you that much damage (if you're in P4) - I ate nuts and cheese almost every day when I was maintaining - maybe just a salt/water gain? I didn't drink any wine, didn't like it - but then in Germany I started sampling Rieslings ...
