I didn't gain when I loaded.I had a very successful p2 and stabilized very well in p3. I would not worry about it. Just stick to protocol and you will do great!

Some lose while loading and some gain. We are all different. Even Dr Simeon's says that some people will lose while loading, so don't worry!

Especially if your diet was poor before, eating s solid load day of mostly fats and lighter on the sugar and carbs can cause weight stability or even losses! Definitely not typical, but not out of the range of normal, either. That just means there is nowhere to go but down on your VLCD
