Back for another round I see a lot of people starting at this time. I'm loading today and the 4th. I'm doing injections and cant wait to start losing, again
I thought it would be good to have a thread for P2 for July.

I have been trying to decide when to start again...... this past year I have started and stopped and am not going to restart until I am fully committed. I might be joining you guys......

I go back to work in 3 weeks, so this would be a perfect first loading day !

I know that I will feel better if I just start- I am going to have another cup of coffee- read some posts for motivation and possibly do a shot.

Happy 4th of July !!!!!

Hi! I'll join in! I started today. My last round I didn't do very well on just HCG, but ended up having awesome results when I modified it a bit for my life. I never made it to my goal, but lost 30 lbs.

The best part is that I've been able to maintain since December. I'd really like to get that last 8 lbs off!

Here's to us!

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!
Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
I started VLC today too!! It's not that bad. I was really dreading it but I'm almost ready for bed and no hunger. Feeling good. I'm not sure if I'll weigh daily. I really love seeing the scale go down daily. But, when it doesn't do what I think it should I do get discouraged. So. I'll decide daily. Probably end up weighing daily from habit.

So glad there are several of us starting the same time. I'm shooting for 21 days VLC but if miraculously I'm still losing well and feeling good I'll consider extending.

I had steak yesterday and lost well today!!! I do well with the beef. I get so sick of chicken too. I tend to go to cottage cheese when that happens. I can eat that everyday! I enjoy eggs as well.

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!
Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
VLCD2 for me. Down 3lbs of my loading weight. Which is a start!! I need to lose about 15lbs more to get where I want to get. I hope the fact that it's recent weight gain will make it go quickly and easily. We'll see. I was at 148 as my LDW last round and I'd love to get back to there, or maybe 145. I may need a 40 day round to do that. We'll see. The in-laws come to town Aug 3, so I would ideally be in P3 by then. That's 29 days. Better than nothing. We'll see. If I still lose well and feel good I could extend. But I usually start running out of steam toward the end, which is my body's way of saying "move on, we're done here!!" Maybe a PI while they're in town? Haven't done that before, but that is interesting. Hmmm. I'll decide as I go .

One day at a time ladies. We can do it. Make good choices right where you are. Be strong and hang in there. It's all temporary. We can have all of "that" later.

Let's get this weight loss party started!!

I usually do chicken and fish or shrimp, but I had one last hamburger patty left over it was 6 oz raw so I just cut it in half. I will do beef maybe 2 times a week in chili or taco salad. I buy the 96% lean at Walmart and I just weigh it out and freeze individual patties, it is easy and they thaw quickly. I also love to buy the precooked shrimp at Wally world. I love the Tilapia at Costco, it is really good and individually frozen. I also love the Pic Sweet brand frozen steamer bag of asparagus at Walmart, it is 50 calories for the whole bag, it's a lot.
I love that this diet is so easy to prep for.

Are you enjoying summer as much as I am? I went up to Prescott for the 4th and was cold!! It was 64 that evening!! (after the rain stopped). Great time!! Thanks for the advice on that asparagus. I don't like buying and prepping the raw so I usually skip it. That'll come in handy.

Like Dawn, I lose better (historically) on beef than chicken. I also like it better so I am glad it works for me. It's too early in this round to tell if that'll hold true, but I sure hope it does. I always forget shrimp. Lemon and garlic would work, right? I'll have to add that into the rotation.

Thanks for the good ideas ladies!! We can do it!!

How long a round are you each trying for? I am gonna' reassess at 21 days and then extend if I can. If I go 21, July 26th would be my first non-dosing day, right? I'm always bad w. the details on this diet.

I looooove Prescott, I use to do their July 4 th and Labor day craft shows on the court house square. I bet it was cool there, beats the 113 in the Valley. We love to go camping in Cotton wood and Showlow is now or favorite. I know you go up to Sedona a lot. Do you have a camper? We have a 25 ft camper and love going camping, just not enough time. I've got to get this weight off for good, it gets in my way of having fun

Haven't done showlow yet. We're gonna check out fossil creek tomorrow I think. Heard good things about it. We tent camp mostly in Sedona. Camped in Cottonwood at Dead horse, a while ago. Great base for other trips, but not much on it's own. Would like to check out Greer. Eventually. I'd love a pop-up eventually too. Someday. Would make it easier to camp I think.

Just had my apple Did chicken lettuce wraps for lunch and it'll be chili for dinner, over spinach (like taco salad a bit). It's hard to cook for the family while eating P2. Does make me cook healthier meals for them too, which is a win:win.

You should check out Fools Hallow lake in Show low, it has both tent and rv camping and is beautiful if you guys like to fish it is a 3 hour drive from Gilbert and you can make reservations now in advance.

Ugh... I didn't plan my start very well. Payday isn't until next Friday, so for now I'm making do with what's available in my cabinets. I'm not WAY off, but definitely not as clean as I'd like to be. Ah well... limping along for a few days...

Thanks Dawn,
This round seems a little harder, It is so dang hot and humid that I am retaining water like crazy. I'll just keep plugging along on protocol of course !

I too find this round hard. But it may be my body. I have been doing hcg for too long and think I just have to accept it. Of course I am doing protocol too!! Nothing else to be done. I am pleased with my 11 lbs down, but I am nearing my 21 days (it will be Monday) and I normally see at least 15 off by now. I was planning on going right up until my vacation starts, but if I see no movement in the scale, I might just end my round earlier. I will still be on the minimum days so all is good!!! Even 7 more pounds (instead of my much wished for 12 more) in 2 weeks I will take!!!

Thats a good first week! We've got crazy monsoon here today-hail, major wind, crazy rain! Cool!

Dawn- sorry its not going as fast as you'd like . I'm hoping for at least 15 lbs too. It's been about 5 months since my last P2 and with serious eating (RRARFing) for 2 months. You're shrinking though, which I like better than that scale number!

I loaded up to 163.4 and am down to 153 today. Works for me. LDW from last round was 148, so I'd like to get there. Only 5 more lbs, and today's VLCD10. I'm halfway there, if I do 21. May go a bit longer if thes scale's still moving. We'll see.

I'm wondering if stress has an impact. Yesterday I fully accepted that I was really happy w/ my size, and the scale would go where it likes. I hope I can stay this chill about it once the stall comes!

Hello! Anyone from my July 5th starters still going? Tomorrow's LDW , or could be. 21 days at least. I know Dawn is moving to P3. I really want to, but am 2.8 from my dream weight of 145, so I'm gonna go another week. Hope that is worth it! I'm stalled right now, but after loading I was up to 164, and I'm stalled at 147.8. Can't complain .

Julie!!

I am stopping only because I am leaving for vacation this Saturday. Otherwise I would continue on. Even though I am having a very slow weight loss. I am just not where I want to be. I would have preferred to stop at 120, but I cannot continue. So I am starting to think this will be just an interruption. Good luck to you this next week!!!! I think you can make it!!

I think so too. You're so strong and committed Dawn! You've done a long((ish) round and you want to come back for more? . You go girl! Maybe you'll be one of those lucky ones who lose a bit in P3? Could happen!

It really is only a short time in the grand scheme of things. We can do almost anything for a short time .

Crazy right But I really do want to reach my mini goal at least! This morning I finally feel like my thighs are more in line of how I want them to look. I mean to say that they are finally thinning out. I don't like how they look right at this moment but in a few more pounds--- Cannot wait!!! I will see how I do this weekend and re-evaluate after I get home from NC.
