Marking my spot in the new thread!

I'm only down a half a pound this morning, but TOM hit last night

I'm happy for a loss though

Altogether, that's 5-1/2 pounds since last Wednesday!

Good Morning, everyone! I stayed the same this morning. So not up, not down. But, TOM is here and I'm retaining so much water that my rings are stuck on my fingers! So, in a couple of days I know that will disappear. Staying on track this week!

Ended W1 of P1 with a 7.2 loss!

Have a very blessed week, everyone!

Hey Everyone,

Sorry I've been MIA. I've picked up so much freelance work that I have become super busy. (Which is a great problem to have!) I also went on a little beach vacation with my mom, sister, and my daughter last week for a few days. Had a great time!

I am done with my second round and will be maintaining (and hopefully losing in P4) until September 1st, when I'm planning on starting my third round. I am down 15 pounds so far. I'd like to lose 5 to 10 pounds between now and the next round. I have two months to do it, so I should be able to. I'm going to get back to running (if I can find the time), and stay away from the sugars and starches.

Hope everyone has a wonderful summer. See you around Labor Day!

Hi, morning, everyone.

I have been stuck at the current weight for 3 days, but looks like TOM is leaving. Hoping for some scale movement tomorrow.

Hi lovely ladies~

Checking in...

I have had a fabulous week of losses...I was having some major water retention last week. I had shot up 2-3 lbs., did a mini-steak day (works miracles for me!)...and have lost continuously since then. I had a big 2 lb. loss yesterday, due to a tummy upset/diaherria day on Sat. (ate an In-n-Out protein burger...patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard)...but am up .6 today...but still lost 4-5 lbs. this week

Hope everyone has a fabulous week of losses...keep on truckin'!!!!

Happy Monday and upcming holiday to all! Bext wishes to all to keep on track with eyes on the prize....a new you, instead of all the holiday food we must overlook !!

Down 3lbs today after a weekend of water retention, yay!

@Berta, here is the GF Grissini recipe in case you get to it before I do. I'll still post the outcome of my experiment tho

There are quite a few GF all purpose flours at most grocery stores these days.

Gluten free grissini:

375ml warm water
10g dry yeast
30ml Extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp Salt
670g Gluten free plain flour
1tsp Finely ground fennel seed

1. Combine all ingredients in the mixing bowl of a kitchen aid mixer with a dough hook and knead gently until your have a smooth dough.

2. Cover the bowl with glad wrap and place somewhere warm to prove for 30-40minutes (it will not prove as high as normal doughs)

3. Dust a work surface with gluten free flour and grab small pieces of the dough. Using both hands gently roll out your grissini like a sausage to the desired thickness.

4. It becomes fragile the thinner you go, but the end result is better if it is thinner.

5. Transfer each grissini to a baking tray as you finish it.

6. When finished rolling grissini, brush each one with a little olive oil and season with a light sprinkling of salt.

7. Bake at 170 until they are lightly golden and crunchy.

Serve immediately.

Better to start toward the end of TOM, the hCG isn't really effective during that hormonal dip and Simeons believed stabilization problems could be related to starting and ending at the wrong times. Once you're bleeding is light or spotting you should be fine to begin.

I almost always have long stalls during TOM and the week prior, even on hCG. That is very normal and they almost always fix themselves.

I'm down .6 pound today to 171.6. That's excellent, considering I was having major twinges from ovulation for a few hours last night, and almost always gain or stall during that time. No complaints here with half a pound or so loss, then!

My personal advise---do not start til after TOM. Much easier that way. I would not want to question if I could have lost more that first week because of TOM. But you don't have to listen to me. Do what you feel comfortable doing.

I am up a smidge--only 0.2 So it might not even be that I am up! Could be that I needed to sleep a little longer today. I do weigh in at least 2 hours later on the weekends because I don't get up early for work. I plan to eat clean today and plug along. Lots of water today because it is going to be in the 100s again.

morning everyone!

I'm down to 188.6 so just .2 off my lowest thus far. I'm shocked, as I ate at the food court yesterday and also demolished a no bake raspberry cake. However the mall I went to is 1.4 million square feet, so it's absolutely massive and I walked for over 3 hours. I'm a bit backed up as well, so once that's gone, I think I will see a good drop.

I really thought my TOM was coming, but it hasn't. During my first round, I was 1.5 weeks late. I wonder if the low-cal is affecting it? I've been having all my regular PMS symptoms but it's hard to say when it should start since my last one was late and I'm usually like clockwork (not pregnant).

I was starting to feel guilty about spending so much money on my purse yesterday but I had a big client come in this morning so I made up for it. Now I can just enjoy it and not feel bad lol yay!!

Hi ladies!

Another MONDAY?! Sheesh I don't like Mondays. I'm up from yesterday but that's normal from previous rounds (going up after LDW). LDW 154, today 155.5. BF and I went to Savory Spice Shop and tried a lot of stuff (all no sugar/no starch) but I'm sure there was a LOT of salt (OMG the black truffle salt was EPIC!) and some dairy in the cheese sprinkles. Yesterday I also had H&H for the first time this round and my tummy wasn't too happy with me which is normal if I don't have it for a while. Super clean day today - 2 apples, cucumber/tilapia and spinach/tilapia along with lots of water.

Manders - new purse? YAY!

Hello!! I'm marking my spot. I will be joining you all here in a few days. I start loading tomorrow, and will do my first VLC day on Wed.

I know most of you - But for those I've yet to meet - I've done a few rounds and reached my goal weight this past round (March I think). I have spent the past 2+ months working on "refeeding" and resetting my metabolism (theoretically). Basically eating a LOT and pushing the carbs. But, I have decided the 10lb gain that went w. it isn't worth it and I'm not happy here. My clothes are tight and I'm ready to get back down. So, off I go!!

I look forward to losing w. you all. I hope you all share recipes and menus as we go!! I could use ideas, reminders and inspiration!!

Sounds like everyone is on or near TOM! LOL

I am SO close to goal I can taste it! (No pun intended) 1.4 lbs to go! I could prob stand to lose a few more and I'd like to just so I have a few lbs wiggle room when I start JUDDD, (for maintenance) but dang, just knowing I could be eating a variety of food in a few days is just SO tempting to get off sooner than losing a few more. Not quite sure what I'll do yet. Kinda taking it day to day.

Here's to an awesome week with lots of releases!

Diet Pepsi is better than other alternatives you can be eating on P2 that is how I justify my coffees on P2, and the occasional diet drink.

I probably do an iced tea or diet Pepsi each day, as a treat. Or Italian soda made with sf syrup. It's not the end of the world, provided it has no sugar, fat, or calories in general.

Manders, I'm still very new to this, but I am a diet Pepsi-aholic and I found last week (which was Week 1 for me) that on the 2 occasions that I had a diet Pepsi, I was RAVENOUS the rest of the day! I haven't had any since Friday. I so want one, but instead I'm drinking iced tea... I don't think I can make it through this if I'm that hungry all the time! I've wondered for a long time if my diet Pepsi habit was triggering my hunger or cravings. I'm thinking it was! I need to get off it. Terribly unhealthy...

Artificial sweeteners can cause major cravings in some peopl (I am actually one of them) so you have to balance whether or not it is worth the craving to not eat or drink something worse. I sweeten my tea with stevia and that works better for me than sucrolose, in terms of cravings.
