As for hhCG, yes you can continue to take it on your period. It is rXhCG that is the one where skipping is advised and even then it isn't crucial. I'm sorry about the cake - it stinks to not eat it, but you can have cake later, now is the time to drop epic amounts of weight and get compliments up the wazoo ![]() |

Hey ladies. I can't seem to get back on track from my issues surrounding TOM. I'm so depressed about everything that has happened thus far so I'm going to cut my losses and start this HCG thing again next month around the 6th of Aug after a two day load. I wish you all good luck and will encourage everyone from the side lines.

That was quite a shout out, desma! I'm so sorry you've had issues sometimes a restart is what we need.
I'm barely hanging on by the skin of my teeth. I'm having such intense pica, today I am craving animal food. It's completely insane and I have no clue why this round is SO bad. I'm just praying I can keep on track through the rough times and that they'll smooth out on their own. I will consider transitioning off the hCG before cheating in any substantial way, but at this point I'm really mulling it. Ack! This is so mentally taxing I can't believe it, and I'm not even starving by growling tummy standards, but feeling very voracious for particular things. Bizarre. I did get in a workout this afternoon and am doing fine with that right now. I'm a little tired, but not wiped out or completely drained. So that's an upside.

Sorry to hear this round hasn't been what you hoped, Desma.
![]() I honestly believe that there are some times in life when food/weight/diet has to take a backseat to higher priority issues. Not that health is not high on the list of priorities (at least it should be!), but life is full of lots of other issues, too. Maybe if you take a few weeks to prepare mentally and physically, you'll be able to accomplish a full, strong round next month. Hope so! Star73- I'm in your boat right now! Have had 2 cheats in the past week, after a totally perfect first week of round 1... I'm angry with myself about it, but refuse to let it ruin the rest of the round. I've had a good day today and already have my lunch for tomorrow packed and ready to go. (Cottage cheese, celery, apple.) Hang in there and be kind to yourself. I'm sure you'd forgive someone else in the same situation, so forgive yourself and move on! I am finally done with TOM, so even though I've made some mistakes, I'm looking forward to seeing how many pounds will be coming off over the next week! And, I just have to say~ All of you on this board are wonderful! I have been on other forums that have snide, rude, people posting, which just ruins the whole purpose of a "support" group. I have been spending a fair amount of time here and a bit on the JUDDD site, and have yet to come across anyone that wasn't kind, encouraging, and helpful to the newbies (myself included!). Kind of brings back my hope for humanity!! I feel so blessed to have come across these forums. ![]() BTW, Christy, my daughter LOVES your avatar! She's 8 and that's her favorite saying from the movie. Last edited by mommy2boysaz; 07-05-2012 at 06:29 PM.. Reason: Forgot to add... |

I worked out today too! Did pretty heavy weights, only 2sets instead of 3. Felt fine! But, it's VLCD1
. as long as you were already exercising b/4 P2 you'll be fine. And of course listen to your body, as Taryl said. Meanders-I'd wait a few days to weigh. Let the hormones settle, hopefully the plumbing straightens itself out, then you'll have a good whoosh. Mom-popcorn for dinner? movies are tricky! Sorry you have to go through all of the recovery!I was hungry earlier, but could barely finish dinner?! crazy! I made yummy cabbage beef soup. Quite pleased that I'm full! Yeah! May this bode well for this round! Not sure about weighing daily? I have in previous rounds but not 100% sure I'll do it this round. We'll see.

Thanks guys. I will continue to take the drops. I'm VERY crampy and sore and bloated today. Not fun. I'm happy to report that I only took a lick of icing and did not have any cake. That was SO tough, because I could probably demolish an entire cake by myself!
I've been hitting the water really hard today and have somehow managed to not drink ANY soda. I'm really sick of being stuck in this 187-190 range, so I'm cutting it out in an effort to try and break this cycle. |

I just wanna say that I'm really surprised how HCG has helped my joint pain. I have rheumatoid arthritis and while I read in P&I that it can help "rheumatism" (that's what they used to call things like RA and fibro and other things), I really didn't think it would cause so many things say they can help joint pain and they don't. I noticed for the first time the other day that I can walk around outside without foot pain! Do you know how happy that made me? I forgot what it was like to take a step without it feeling like I'm walking barefooted on stones
![]() I sure hope this continues and if it does, I wish this was something I could take every day forever. |

Made it through dinner and feel fine now. It seems the middle of the afternoon is the worst for my cravings, and it may be that I need to strategically sip things to keep from going nuts. Though I didn't have major issues in previous rounds with them, I'm also thinking that cutting out diet Pepsi (I have one a day or so) might help, in case that is exacerbating cravings? It's worth a shot.

Good Morning, everyone! TGIF!!!
![]() I'm down 1.2 today, so my recovery from TOM and more importantly, my misdeeds, is beginning. My plan is to continue to make that number go down! I would LOVE to see 160s before I finish this round. It has been a couple of years since I've been there! Have a great day, everyone. I'm off to work! |

Good morning lovely ladies
![]() I have been MIA since Tuesday. Super-busy & tired. I spent all day in the sun at a water park/car show (we have a restored 1970 Camaro)/fireworks show on the 4th, and of course I have been zapped w/ water retention ...happens every time if I spend lots of time in the heat--here in good ole' TX. Yesterday, I was extremely tired & my lower back aches...along with all my daycare kiddos...they were tired, GRUMPY, and just did not get along w/ each other at all. So...I am exactly the same weight since Tuesday, up/down/STS...I know eventually it will whoosh...I have been following protocol to a T. I have noticed that I am slimmer through the hips...that is my most problem area...seems to hardly shrink...even if I look like a skeleton on top. I am out of all my meats as of today...not sure if I will do eggs or do cottage cheese for lunch, I do have canned chicken & tuna I gotta get to the grocery store tonight after daycare is gone.I haven't had TOM yet...it's either late by 5-6 days or it may skip...it's not the first time I've skipped before (even off of hHCG). I think I am going to do a PI/re-feed on Tuesday for 4-5 days...been craving some fats...well, mainly peanut butter ...but I will not eat any...definitely gonna do P3 in a few weeks and I will get me some almond butter ![]() Great job to all the losers ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (((HUGS))) to all those who are struggling...hang in there...it will turn around.Have a great Friday...weekend is coming ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Good morning ladies!!!! I lost more inches but no pounds. I lost .02 lbs for 3 days during TOM and nothing the last two days. Today is VLCD 9 and i have only lost 8.2 lbs and 12 1/4 inches as of this morning. I would love to see the scale go down. I have never lost alot of inches and not have the scale move too. Also, have problems going to the bathroom for last 3 days. I feel nauseous.
Im happy for everyone that lost , keep up the good work!!! ![]() For everyone that didn't im sure our time will come!! ![]() |

Oh, goodness. You say you "only lost"----girl look at where you are now. If we say that in the main lobby, those folks would look at us like this You lost 8.2 in 9 days........that is incredible You have done more than the average you lose on P2---and that is WITH TOM In the house!!! Dr S says that women lose 0.5 lb per day--and you have exceeded that. You are doing well. Do NOT think you are NOT doing well. You should be shouting from the rooftop "I lost 8.2 lbs in 9 days"!!!! What other diet can you say that about??? Well done my friend, well done ![]() ![]() I have posted on here what I do to make things oakie doakie in the bathroom. I use Natural Calm (a magnesium supplement I can find in my vitamin shoppe) at night along with psyllium capsules at night. Then when I have my coffee in the morning--magic! My Dh also loves to use a tea we can find at Walmart called "Get Regular". It is by a company called Yogi. I can find that at my vitamin shoppe as well, but we go to walmart more frequently. |

Dawn-Woohoo!!
So happy for you!! Very exciting and gives me hope too!! WTG!! Keep it up girl!!Mommy-glad you're in recovery mode now, back on track and the scale is going back down!! YEAH! Star-that's great about the RA!! I too wish I could take hcg all the time. I just feel "better" on it. Not sure how else to describe it. But I suspect I have an untreated hormonal condition and maybe this little bit of hhcg helps balance me back out? I just generally feel "better". Manders-how's today? Any better? I second Dawn's recommendation for magnesium. Most of us are deficient in it anyways, but you can make thing "happen" w. it too!! ![]() Angela-you're wise to recognise it's water and it'll go. Yes, hit the store. Much easier w. the proper supplies in the house! You can do it!! Temeka-if you're down that much and still backed up? You're way ahead of the game!! You can do it!! Taryl-mid afternoon is my hard part too. I need to go "out" and either shop or run errands. Seems to make time go faster and I don't eat. I haven't had any DP this round so far (only day 2!!) but I'll add it when I feel like I need a "treat". Movies, sporting events, etc. I'm trying to drink water w. a bit of crystal light in them, which isn't ideal, but better than a whole packet or diet soda. Progress I'm down 3 from day 1. That's most of my load weight, which is nice. It's all recent gain, the next 10lbs will be just to get me back in my "window" from last round. I know it's weight I've regained, but I sincerely hope my body isn't too "attatched" to it . I'd like to drop back to my previous LDW and maybe a few lbs of wiggle room? We'll see. Truly hoping the metabollic reset I've invested in the past few months works toward easier maintenance this round. We'll see. 1 day at a time!! ![]() |
