for the rough round you've had. Take a deep breath and reassess a bit. You're down, right? You gained w/ your load and you're at least back down that weight right? You're not done yet and you're tummy hasn't been right, so you know you'll lose some once that's straightened out. Try to hang in there and give yourself the best chance to stabilize easily.Star-what happened? I thought you were losing well? Hope you're able to finish this round and I hope JUDDD goes well for you. It's hard for me to look at a regular schedule of 500cal days coming off of hcg. I tried it a few months ago and had a VERY hard time restricting on the DD's and then overdid it on the UD's out of deprivation. Whatever road you take, I hope it works out well for you. Berta-let us know what you decide about your PI vs ending your round. We went out for dinner tonight and I had a small hamburger w. mustard and pickle. Should be about 250cals. Generally feeling pretty good. Ok w. energy and hunger is manageable. I did have 2 apples today instead of orange, strawberries etc. We'll see what tomorrow brings. I usually lose best on beef, and have had P2 chili for lunch. Kinda' fun looking forward to the scale in the morning!! Hope you're all doing well and were strong over the weekend!!

I can't tell you definitively, one way or the other, what to do. I understand not wanting to waste your hCG and doing a planned interruption, they work fine physically but are MENTALLY/EMOTIONALLY taxing. That is THE biggest issue, getting back on P2 for eight or ten days after time off. And if one if more likely to cheat or struggle like crazy with the VLCD then ending the round instead of doing an interruption is better. If you can do a correct planned interruption with NO sugar or starch, not a drop, and have no struggles in going back into P2, then by all means give it a try. The choice is yours, depending on your strengths and weaknesses.

Julie - lunch sounds great and I'm glad you aren't too hungry. I lose really well on beef, too, which is great because I find it (and moose) very satisfying.
Manders - I'm sorry you're struggling! Did you have cheat that caused the weight bounce? Sometimes they happen but oftentimes eating off plan is the culprit. And are you feeling any better with the bowel issues? |
