Couple of HCG questions...
I'm sure these are already answered if I go thru all the post on here. But if anyone can help me get them all in one place, here are my questions...
1. I know what food you can eat, meat, veggie, apple/strawberry, melba etc. Can you split these up? Maybe have the fruit and melba as a snack instead of with the protein/veggie? Or is it imperative to have them together? 2. Do you all switch your make up, toothpaste, lotions and soaps? I bought the toothpaste and already use the right deodorant. The paperwork with my box says you "can" do this but don't have too. So I'm wondering what level you guys go to for this. 3. I think I read that if you are Rx you have to stop taking it during TOM, but that's NOT the case with the homeopathic stuff. Is that correct? 4. And the load days are 2 days with homeopathic and 3 with Rx? 5. One spoon of Milk is ok every 24 hours, but not cream or half and half?

2. I switch over my toothpaste, shampoo and soap. When I used Dial soap but for one day decided to use Oil of Olay body wash because I wanted a bit of moisture--I gained the next day. The only difference between the one day and the next...body wash. Now I am not saying that my slight gain was from only the body wash, but after that I never used it on P2 again!!! I only use baby oil (mineral oil that Dr S says to use) for a lotion. I can handle it for 3 weeks, it is only a fraction of time that you are on P2. I can last without my coconut oil lotion.
4. Load days are 2 days whatever hcg you choose to use. Some have gone longer for loading, but 2 days is all you need. The time difference between Rx hcg and the homeopathic is at the end when you stop the drops. The Rx stops and does the VLCDs without the rx for 3 days (72 hours) and the homeopathic does only 48 hours with no drops and the 500 calories. 5. Dr S doesn't specify which milk to use, so it is up to you! But yes the lower the fat the better!

Hi, and hope these responses are helpful.
1. I know what food you can eat, meat, veggie, apple/strawberry, melba etc. Can you split these up? Maybe have the fruit and melba as a snack instead of with the protein/veggie? Or is it imperative to have them together? You can definitely split up the fruit or the breadstick or the veggies and have in between as snacks. Often, if I find myself hungry before noon, I have my fruit and a breadstick. Eventually I get to where I don't want anything in between meals. What you should not do is have both the breadsticks or both the fruit servings at the same time. So you can't save up and have both fruits at dinner or double up your protein at one meal... 2. Do you all switch your make up, toothpaste, lotions and soaps? I bought the toothpaste and already use the right deodorant. The paperwork with my box says you "can" do this but don't have too. So I'm wondering what level you guys go to for this. I have some facial redness so no way was I going to skip covering that up. My first round I tried to do it by the book, and used Bare Minerals, but I am a foundation EVERY DAY, even if just going to the grocery store, kind of girl. So I did not stop using all my products, but I try to minimize oils to the skin. I did get a toothpaste without sugar. My skin gets really dry with the climate here and so little fat in my diet so I used baby oil and then 98% aloe vera lotion. When I can't stand it, though, I use coconut oil for dryness. I don't think wearing make up or using moisturizer stalled me. And I had to use sunscreen a few times and did not have the oil free version. So, I don't think it really matters. Also, conditioner on my hair is a must as is coloring the roots. Neither of those slowed my losses either. 3. I think I read that if you are Rx you have to stop taking it during TOM, but that's NOT the case with the homeopathic stuff. Is that correct? I did not stop the drops or change my diet during TOM. I stalled for three days (and sometimes actually gained a half pound or so) but it all came off at the conclusion of "Aunt Flo" 's visit and took extra pounds with it. Other folks I have heard up the protein grams due to fatigue during TOM, but I did not feel a need to do that. YMMV 4. And the load days are 2 days with homeopathic and 3 with Rx? Yes and Yes. 5. One spoon of Milk is ok every 24 hours, but not cream or half and half. Obviously each person will vary, but lots of folks seem to cheat with half and half and get away with it. I cheat with heavy cream and get away with it.

Ladies--do NOT forget that the load days are in the beginning of the round!! You are to load for only 2 days. I don't think I could have gone 1 extra day LOL. The end of the round is when you go 3 days for Rx and 2 days for hhcg.

What about gum? I know it would have to be cinnamon gum, but is that a no no because of the aspartame in gum?
Really hoping this gives me the appetite suppression everyone says. Nothing ever works for that for more then a day or two. In the pasted I've tried diet pills, and after a few days I'm starving again. When in ketosis I'm still hungry. I can handle any "diet" as long as the appetite is under control. I work 2 jobs where I'm surrounded by junk food all day long every day and even have to prepare it for people. I've been pretty strong about resisting, but it gets hard when I'm really hungry! |

Anyone know about the gum?
Also I was wondering what ya all do...I read HCG can be used to treat infertility. And personally everyone I know that has ever done HCG ends up pregnant. I want to get pregnant, but I want to get in a round or two first. I went off my pills in April and have no intention of going back on them. Is there any risk involved with getting pregnant while on HCG? |

Sorry. I don't chew gum. Don't have an issue with getting pregnant either. I had my 4 babies and now my tubes are tied. So do not know about that stuff along with hcg.
