I feel ya Martiangurll! I've been complaining about TOM since saturday! He/she is leaving town tonight and I couldn't be happier!!! If I had this info a few days ago, I would have been in a better place, but oh well. I now know for the future! Stay strong!!!

Eat or lose???!!! LOL. I now after doing so many rounds, much prefer eating because I know that another round will get the pounds off.
Why haven't I heard about this miracle coffee before??!!!???

Hasn't everyone heard of Folger's flavored coffees before? I get them from Walmart. The flavors are great!! I heard that even the vanilla is a good one--tastes just like a vanilla biscotti so I have been told.

Btw, I was a barista at Starbucks for 2 years til I quit last Aug

LOL! I have been drinking tea for the past couple of years with the occasional Americano here and there. I haven't bought actual coffee in years! Are these flavored coffees P2 approved?

Dawn
Actually I didn't like the Chocolate Coffee I love the Caramel Drizzle and Creme Brulee. The Torano SF Choc Syrup was good.I will use it in my SF Coconut milk on PH3
I am feeling the same way. I want some turkey and Pork and butter and cauliflower and turnips and whipping cream in my COFFEE

I do feel I will stabelize better this Ph3.I think I added to much back in to soon. So I am going to try eating PH 3 with more veggies and protein for a week or so.And I will have my WC in my coffee and butter on my veggies

Who here eats the P2 chili and how do you make yours? I saw a recipe with an onion and a tomato, so you count that as your veggie? Or use onion powder?

PH2chili is one of my favorites. I peel one tomato dice it and add it to my cooked 3 1/2 oz of ground beef and add 2cups of beef broth no MSG in it and chili powder and little onion salt I eat one melba with it

If you put onion and tomato you have to count the tomato as your fruit. NOT ME I would rather have my apple or strawberries or orange

I've made P2 chili before with 1 serving of (canned) fire roasted tomatoes, my beef serving then random spices (taco seasoning/cumin/chili powder/etc...).

Tasty!! Oh - even better with a little cocoa powder

If you make a big pot.How will you know you are getting the right amounts in each serving?

I also make small meatloaves from lean ground beef,I take 14oz ground beef and add 4 crushed melba toast and some meatloaf seasoning (McCormick)not the whole pkg though. Then add WF Ketchup a little bit of Mustard and Sweetner mix that all together and put on top. Then bake for 45 min or so in 350F oven.It makes four servings. You could add onions or tomatoes but I haven't as I want something to eat with itPlus it doesn't hold together as well.

Wow! That chili sounds good! I will keep that in mind for when I've decided I can't face another chicken breast or dish of cottage cheese!

So, this is starting my 4th day of VLCD and I'm down another 2.2 today, for a total loss of 7.4 from my pre-load weight!
I can't really believe I've lost this much, this fast! My goal is 15 for this round but I was very doubtful that I'd make it. Now I'm thinking maybe I can do it!

Off to a hospital 2 hours away to take a refresher course for my job. Forecast in my area of Northern Ohio is calling for 105 degrees today.

How about the rest of you?

I was looking online and I saw a P2 chili recipe similar to yours that was broken down into one serving, so I could triple that to have three servings or quadruple for four or whatever. They used 100 gm of beef, one tomato, one onion and spices, maybe a garlic clove, but I didn't write that down cause I can use garlic powder. I think I'll use the onion powder alone instead of the onion. They had both onion powder and garlic powder in the recipe anyway. Idk, I'm reading up on things

If I could find some gluten free melba toast then I could do the meatloaf. I'm not sure if they make that though. I was just going to do P2 without melba toast.

You go girl!! I am usually the first one up and around here. Good to see others get up early Today is my supposed to be my day off, but I have to cover another worker's shift so at least I got to sleep in today! Awake at 7

Berta---let me add that I am using your bottle of pellets and they are incredible!! I am not hungry and don't feel much like eating. I want to because I am around food all day at my job, but once I am not around the temptation....no desire!! Thank you so much!! I am glad I got some more from Netrition.

Thanks to TOM (I promise this is the last time I mention the he/she devil!) I am now 2 lbs above my last weigh in! He/she was suppose to leave yesterday, but it looks like he/she is trying to hang around longer than the usual scheduled visit!

I've been POP for the last couple of days and plan on staying POP until the 14th. But now I don't think I'll make my over all goal of 25 lbs for my first round.

I'm at 218.2 after starting at 230 on 30 May. I feel like !!!!

I have no idea about the gluten free melba but take a look on Netriton and see what they have. I was just thinking of how would you know you were getting right amount amount of meat in each serving if you fixed more than one? ON the meatloaf I cut it into four equal pieces. But in the chili I wouldn't know how unless I picked the beef out and weighed it again each time

WOW that is great Dawn. I am so glad you like them!!! I think I am stuck. I was only down .2 this morning. I have been on protocol every day. Except that one day I ate the tortilla and salsa. I have had to fight myself every day to keep from eating. Not becauseof hunger just stinkin thinkin I have a pecan log and a jar of mixed nuts that keep yelling my name at night. But so far I have ignored it and I still have not lost good.Makes me want to go ahead and eat them ALLSeems I can't get past this 254-255 mark my first mini goal is 250 and seems I can't get there. But I know I will.

This is just part of this plan up and downs. But boy when those downs hit it is worth the wait. Stay on protocol and just forget the weight you may be losing inches. I finally measured last Sunday and I hav elost 17 inches since I started April 24th 20012 So we have to remember this is POUNDS AND INCHES! We are allin this together and with your hand in our hand together WE WILL MAKE IT

I just thought of something that might be stopping my weight loss I have been using my old deodorant Suppose that Would do it? I remember last round I used the muscle rub and gained 2lbs that next morning!

Anyway just been going over in my mind thinking of what might be wrong and thought of that. I put that bottle of deodorant up and got the one I switched to last round back out. We will see tomorrow!

Berta, what are the ingredients? If there is oil in it, it could be causing you to stall, especially with the RX Hcg. I don't think so much with hhcg. Dr. Simeons warned of this in P&I. Hopefully you have found the culprit!!!

Hey Berta! I haven't lost anymore inches, but the most amazing thing about all of this..........I feel REAL good when I look at myself

I posted a pic yesterday on my "first timer........" thread because I was feeling great! Even after the sad realization on the scale this morning....... I was in the bathroom at school again this morning and saw someone sexy in the mirror staring back at me! And when I realized it was me I almost passed out!

I'm going to keep it going until the end. I'm feeling good about myself and maybe that's the most important thing I take away from this experience........

Me too I have been waiting every day this round is almost over already and only 7lbs off

Do you think maybe because I didn't do a complete PH4?

Does anyone know what does Gluten free mean. I saw some Italian Breadsticks today that look like the grissinni and was wondering if they would be ok on PH2. they were
Gluten Free.BUT I'm not sure what Gluten is?

They were in our Health Food market at HyVee. I also found Dreamsfield Pasta at our HyVee. I know..... not for PH2

I'm sure the breadsticks would work. I just found some at our mom & pop's store: Brookshire's

I love the Dreamfields pasta while doing low carb...I use it regularly for my family...they love it

Gluten free basically means it does not contain wheat. It probably uses some other flour (rice, nuts) instead.

Beware of the Dreamsfield pasta. If you google "dreamfields pasta scam" there would be an article stating it does impact your blood sugar level.

I always remind myself that I CAN lose all this weight, it's whether I want it bad enough. It's not impossible. That short term satisfaction of having a bag of chocolate does not compare to the long term satisfaction of wearing a bikini this summer. And not to mention that my one little screw up WILL affect me for many days, not just one day. so. not. worth. it.

I dropped down to 188.4 today. That was a big deal. The last time I was 188 was when I was 14 years old!

So happy to see my weight loss progressing steadily. I finally fit into this pair of jeans that I've had for over a year that I could never fit in to, even when I bought them!

Did someone say they put cocoa in p2 chilli?! lol that sounds very odd!
