Started my VLCDs today!!! I won't post my start number til I feel more comfortable, but let me just say that it is NOT what is listed in my stats. Once I get there, or at least closer to it I will start being more accountable. So far, so good!! The pellets are doing their thing. I am not hungry. Just ate an apple and cucumber because I had to. Will get some protein in a sec. I am liking this!!!

Today is VLCD 3 for me. I'm down a total of 5.2! I always start out with large losses at the beginning of a diet, so I'm not terribly surprised by this number. Just trying to mentally prepare myself for the rest of week 1, when I know this number will begin to stall... I've felt very minor hunger the past 2 days, which does surprise me! This hHCG stuff actually works! Did feel a bit weak prior to lunch yesterday. Even a little dizzy after I climbed 2 flights of stairs at work. And I feel weak this morning. Kind of like I feel when trying to recover from the flu. I don't feel sick, though, just weak. Hope this goes away soon.

Berta- Thank you for the signature advice! And congrats on your loss!

Desma- I'm due for TOM any day now... Should be interesting. I'm not looking forward to it!

Manders- Congrats on the loss! With the load weight gone, your body can get down to business with the rest!

Dawn- Good Luck on your new start. I know what you mean about not wanting to share your stats... I do want to add to my signature, but adding those stats is just embarassing! Although not as humiliating as when I took my "before" pics in a swimsuit. Yikes. Those will remain under lock and key (until I no longer look like this!). Can't believe those pics are actually me...

Wonderful mommy2boysaz! I wish I had big losses like that!

My time with TOM is coming to a close. His/her bags are packed and leaving town today!
I feel soooooo much better! I now know how to handle TOM and what not to do when he/she shows up! Good luck!

D8 for me, but I am up .8 The only thing I can think of is I had Jennie-O 95/5 lean white turkey burger patties for lunch since I ran out of chicken breast. Guess no turkey for me on P2. Sigh ...

I have not lost that much for a VLCD#1. But that is OK. I got up before anyone should have to, for work, and earlier than even my early time. And I got at least 3 different numbers. Darned scale! So I am going to follow the plan because I know it works and just hope for the best tomorrow. I am eating as I should for P2 and it will come off. I know it will.

Dawn
You have been doing some different things with dieting lately so your body will probably have to adjust to the HCG again. You are right hang in there it will come off. My weight has been slow too it seems.Although I figured up I have had a loss of almost 7lb. In about ten days. Not as well as I would like but have to take what I get. I read in P&I if on Thyroid or have been for a while the wt. would be slower to come offOf course I have been on Thyroid for over 6 years now.I stopped taking it this round to see if it would help but so far the only difference I have seen in the Rx and Hemopathic for me is NO HUNGER.That alone helps me keep on protocol

I would have not stopped the Thyroid meds but I went to my prior Dr. and ask her to put me on Thyroid to help me lose weight. But it didn't help and I just kept taking it.So I don't feel like I really need it.I am gettng a complete blood work done when we get back from Wichita next month and seeing if I can get off alot of my meds now.

You ask me several post ago if I was doing a 21 or 40 round. I forgot to answer I will have 24days in on the 9th so that will be a full round. I will start PH3 on the 12th be on it intil the 20th then I may continue on PH2 just not certain yet? I was going to count our trip to Wichita as a interuption but I will have to see how much I loose between now and then.

I like losing on PH2 but don't like the eating. SO I am honestly thinking of just doing the 21 days each round. It will just take me longer to get it off.SO I don't know if I want to go longer or notDecisions, decisions

Hello Everyone,
Newbie here wanting to join in. Not new to HCG but new to LCF forum.

Actually P2R3, did quite well my first round(21 pounds) but not so great 2nd round (12 pounds). I strayed from protocol so I didn't get the results I wanted.

Start weight for this round is 175 which is LDW from R1. It's also the start weight from R2. Only lost my load weight and a bit more which I slowly regained over the past 3 months so R2 was a wash. At least I was able to reset and go no higher and I also kept some inches off. Ok, not a wash; a learning experience.

Loaded Sunday and Monday and went up to 180. Already down to 175.5 at the start of VLCD2 so I'm pumped and ready for a clean round.

Looking forward to hearing from all of you.

Hello! Nothing is ever a wash or a loss or a waste of time, it's all a learning experience! =)

Only lost .4 of a pound yesterday, but I think it's almost my TOM and I overdid it on the protein yesterday. Boooo! I had some intense sugar cravings last night so I had a small protein shake with a couple splendas at like 1am. It definitely helped and I'd rather have that during my cravings than cave and eat something really bad. Unfortunately there's two jars of honey in the pantry that are totally calling my name... I'm the kind of girl who gets cravings so bad, I could eat the coffee table LOL

Anyone else have any advice/tricks for TOM? This is my first time on P2 getting it and I really don't want to derail myself as my goal is 175 for July 16.

You could make cocoa crack - it satisfies my chocolate cravings and is P2 legal. Just be cautious to not overdo it!!! Just take water and mix with sugar-free Hershey's cocoa (dark or regular) powder, and add splenda (or whatever sweetener you want). The cocoa powder is considered a spice so it's legal. Mix this all together to a nice thick consistency, put on wax paper or non-stick container and put in freezer. Makes a faux chocolate - it's not fantastic but it definitely takes the chocolate edge off!

There's also the chocolate mug cake. Use egg, cocoa powder, splenda and mix all together. Microwave for about 1-2 minutes. I was rogue though and added ONE sugar-free Dove dark chocolate in the middle. The original way is P2 friendly

I don't have time of TOM anymore However if you need to go off protocol it is best to do fats no starch or sweets. BUT Ultimatley perfect on protocol works best

ooooh thank you! Any idea where I can find the hershey's sugar-free cocoa? I've looked for it at all the supermarkets around here and nothing. even have my american BF looking for it down where he lives LOL

It's very interesting how I've been a carb-o-holic for the first 21 years of my life and in the last 5 months since going low-carb, gluten and milk free, the only thing i ever crave is sugar. I could care less about bread or pizza or cheese.

I just buy mine at the local grocery store. Maybe google it and see if it's available near you. Sugar is the devil!!! I've come to the realization that sugar is like a drug!!! Once I start, I cannot stop until I've eaten too much

I will check the local "healthy whole foods" store.

I could eat sugar until I'm dead. I just love everything sweet.

I did try the mug cake thing the other day but I used chocolate protein powder which added more calories so once I can get my hands on the sugar free cocoa, then I can make it properly.

I just looked online and the cocoa isn't listed as sugar-free. It's Hershey's Unsweetened Cocoa Powder. You can get it extra dark or milk. It should be in your regular grocery store. It's what people use for baking and add sugar to it. It's in the baking aisle at my grocery store

Jealous! haha

I'm kinda wondering what kind of crazy pregnant lady I will be (when I have kids). I hope I can control myself and not use it as an excuse to eat everything. I'll be happy when I don't have my TOM anymore!

Thought I'd throw that in since you were on the subject of CHOCOLATE
I love that coffee Oh, my!! That is wonderful isn't it? I have the Caramel Drizzle Folgers coffee too.

Now you know why I only do the short rounds Berta. I can only handle the P2 foods for a short round. But the weight losses are so great that they tend to motivate to stay on. What a dilemma. Eat or lose???!!! LOL. I now after doing so many rounds, much prefer eating because I know that another round will get the pounds off.

Hi everybody. My releases were progressing so nicely until TOM came and ruined it. I am glad everyone posted about cocoa coconut crack being "legal" because I wasn't really craving chocolate but I think it helped me not feel so cold all the time. And, I think it is rev'ving up the metabolism a bit. I am on Day 32 and trying to hold out to Day 44 or so.

R2 is hard. R3 has been the best so far. Well, R1 was amazing too.

Good ideas Gracie Now I have to keep these in mind when I want to reach for a Hershey's bar

Wonderful ideas to satisfy those nasty TOM cravings!

I must say I've felt slightly hungrier today, although maybe I just feel empty? Had to stop and pick up pizza for the family and ride with it in my car, until I got home. Gulp. It made me almost dizzy, it smelled so good! I got home, set it on the table for them and went straight in to take a shower. By the time I was done, so were they. But I still want some!

Oh, mommy....what torture!! Good for you on resisting. That is really tough. I know the feeling. I wasn't hungry today but watching my kids eat and even being offered chocolate at my DH's aunts' house today---hard. But I didn't eat off plan. Tough but worth it in the end.

I just consider it aroma therapy. I am surprised at the "willpower" the hcg gives to not eat stuff like that. Sniffing too long can overwhelm good intentions but I actually can enjoy the sniff now without giving in.
