Hubby is layed off tomorrow and Friday. Just great. He isn't happy.
When he gets home I have to grocery shop. I'm out of strawberries, cottage cheese, eggs, yogurt and need more chicken. Along with the toilet paper, paper towels and bread! LOL
Mini, hope you get this medical problem taken care of soon.
Hi Cheryl and everyone else!

He's layed off for two days? That's more like an extended weekend and he should be happy! Happy shopping. Watch out for those storms. They're rolling in.

I'm finally down two full pounds today -- I was peeing a lot last night, so thought that was hopeful! So, I will just keep doing what I am doing, and not stress it too much.

Cheryl -- thanks about the roommate sympathy. Her financial situation turned around (she inherited money) -- so she is pulling her weight on that front now, but not without a lot of drama around it.

Things are a little less tense today, but still not at all comfortable. A divorce is a good metaphor for this one -- we need one.

I'm tired of drama, and I am tired of being made the bad guy for anything and everything -- tired of being on the butt end of vicious verbal attacks, and on and on and on.

Just think of all the weight you'd lose by losing her! What a load-off that would be. I divorced a friend once. It was the best thing I could do under the circumstances. We were better-off apart. Drama was her middle name.

Down with my rogue eating!!

So taking the drops and I just went up to 8 drops 4 times a day to see if that stops the hunger. I haven't taken 4 times yet. I was just doing 5-6 drops 3 times a day. Then what I have been eating is:

Breakfast -coffee with flavored regular creamer
Lunch- tomatoes & cucumbers, 1/2 cup fat free cottage cheese and 3-4 oz of chicken one day and beef the next. A piece of fruit
3:00 another coffee w/creamer
dinner- the opposite meat of what I had for lunch, big salad with cucumbers, onions, celery, mixed lettece and 2 tbls of cheese with olive oil and raw cider vinegar with spices.

I switch up the tomatoes and cucumbers with broccolli, asparagus and cabbage for lunch.

I was down another 6 oz. this morning. As long as it is moving down I am happy.

LOL, Cheryl --

I hope it doesn't come to that, really -- for all our differences, I do really care about my roommate -- but sometimes the hurt just runs so deep, it is hard to take.

She's injured right now, and can't work out with me for a while, either -- she got rear-ended at a stoplight a couple of days ago, and her shoulder and neck are quite inflamed. Her car fared ok, but is in the shop for minor repairs -- her shoulder and neck didn't fare as well. At least she has it on record from the hospital that she really does have an injury, in case it gets worse.

I suspect that is part of the reason for our fight -- she was upset about the car, and took it out on me. I am the punching bag when anything goes wrong in her world

I'm just going to work out alone for the time being, since we don't know when she can join me again. I just finished a killer lower body workout -- sweat dripping on the mat and everything! It's upper body work for the remainder of the week -- I've worked the legs hard, twice, and they're done for a little while.

Good Morning Happy Losers !! (that sounds terrible, but you know what I mean). Battle with the scale this morning, it shows me up...but I do know what happened so I am not sweating it. I didn't get to drink all my water yesterday so I am retaining. Gonna try a parsley cleanse for my "kidneys"... Did you know that Parsley will help clean out the kidneys and help you lose all harmful accumulation of salts and keep you from retaining... WOW..

This is copied from Beautiful Gifts page on FB ...she is a nurse that posts healthy and natural treatments
CLEAN YOUR KIDNEYS. . .

Years pass by and our kidneys are filtering the blood by removing salt, poison and any unwanted entering our body. With time, the salt accumulates and this needs to undergo cleaning treatments and how are we going to overcome this?

It is very easy, first take a bunch of parsley (MALLI Leaves) KOTHIMIR (DHANIYA) and wash it clean, Then cut it in small pieces and put it in a pot and pour clean water and boil it for ten minutes and let it cool down and then filter it and pour in a clean bottle and keep it inside refrigerator to cool.

Drink one glass daily and you will notice all salt and other accumulated poison coming out of your kidney by urination, also you will be able to notice the difference which you never felt before.

Parsley is known as best cleaning treatment for kidneys and it is natural!

That sounds very odd to me, EmBee. "You will notice all salt and other accumulated poison coming out of your kidney by urination"? How is that possible? Will it change in color or something? And I think the liver has far more to do with filtration of toxins than the kidneys do. I'd take what she's saying with "a grain of salt."

Mini, you are indeed her punching bag. I'm sorry to hear of her car accident and injury. Those types of injuries often lead to worse conditions "down the road." (I'm just full of puns, aren't I.)

You must be feeling better cause you aren't talking about how bloated you are. Do you feel like you are releasing more water retention? Hope so. All that sweating is bound to help.

I had a zero-sleep night and then caught a 3 hour nap around 10-1300. It will keep me going but I'm pretty blazay right now. I'm digging the No S plan but there's a learning curve. Each day I learn how to do the next day better. Over the next week or so, I should have this perfected and fine-tuned just for me so that I can enjoy the plan and also lose weight on it. After all, that is the objective, right?

Howdy, all!

Cheryl, you are funny with all your puns -- too clever indeed! That said, I think parsley is a fairly potent cleansing agent for the liver and kidneys, and a good diuretic -- that lady's phrasing is a bit odd, but the parsely concoction just might work.

I am definitely feeling better, though still quite bloated -- I'm down another .6 lbs today, and that is after a killer workout yesterday and being very sore this morning. So, that is 5 lbs off total, now -- and counting....

I think dairy is the culprit -- and as much as I hate the idea of giving it up, I will gladly do it if it is causing the rampant inflammation problems.

Also -- The past two nights, I've had Trader Joes' low-everything (low cal, low carb, low fat) coconut milk (heated up and flavored) as a treat -- and both times, I started peeing rather profusely after drinking it. I don't know if that is coincidence, but I am going to have it a couple times during the day today, and see if that brings on further water elimination.

My appetite is also dropping off really dramatically -- I could barely finish my breakfast today, which is odd -- it's the same thing I've been eating for the past week or so, and usually I still feel I could eat more afterward -- but today I feel pretty darn full after the same amount of food.

I'm feeling very hopeful that something is starting to turn around in a good way!

I hope my roommate's muscle injury resolves without complications -- she's being cautious with it. I had a bad whiplash many years ago, and I know a lot of other people who have had them, too -- no fun at all!

Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a little while and decided to finally buy some HCG, but when with what they carry in the store. I'm wondering without reading ALL 600 plus of the posts, if anyone has tried rouge with NiGen BioTech mini tabs? I'm opting for rouge because I actually like working out and it's my antidepressant. What I was thinking was that I'd increase the cals to about 800 so that I go to the gym.

Appreciate your advice and I'm hoping that someone has tried NiGen BioTech.

Hey Ladies...
So happy for you Mini!!!! That is good news!

Cheryl I do take everything with a grain of salt...YUMMMY (oh wait...hahaha) I did make the concoction and drank a glass full, needless to say it was "interesting" and needed salt (oh dear the salt thing again), but I am not retaining fluid that is for sure

I did a little different today ..Protein shake for breakfast with greek yogurt and coconut milk , salad for lunch and shake for supper again. I did get all my water in ...so fingers crossed for a good weigh in tomorrow.... Left side is still pretty painful/ sore...I will swallow a couple motrin and give it a couple days, if there is no relief I guess I will have to make the inevitable appt. Calling it a night, talk to everyone tomorrow.

Hi Andie
I ordered my pellets and drops from Intermountain. My eating plan that came with my original drops is a 750-800 cal plan. I add a little bit of coconut oil on days that I work out and continue to lose, especially inches

Welcome, Andie!

I believe NiGen is one of the homeopathic hcg preparations that actually doesn't contain hcg at all, even in homeopathic amounts -- supposedly it contains precursors that stimulate the body to produce it. I was following another board a while back where some folks were using it, and some of them did really well with it -- others did not.

Most of us have used Intermountain, and found it reasonably good.

I totally agree on the working out being a good antidepressant -- my workouts are keeping me sane at the moment!

I'm still feeling pretty hopeful on the water retention front -- seems to be continuing to get better . Some of this is hormones, too -- I got another "bonus" TOM -- my body just can't get enough of that these days, lol!

I don't know how much of my menstrual wackiness is from hcg, and how much is just perimenopause, but I am hoping that being off the hcg for a while will help things normalize on the hormonal front.

I'd love to just keep watching the scale go down, and down, and down for a bit -- if the water problem is truly resolving, I think that will happen -- a great deal of the weight I am currently carrying is still clearly water.

Seriously, if dairy was the cause of this, I am dairy free for life!

Hi Ladies! Finally broke through yet ANOTHER stall today...and I'm only on day 12! This is an odd cycle for sure since my other 3 cycles were identical to each other when it came to how much I lost by certain days (I looked back and compared rounds 2 and 3 and found that I had lost the SAME EXACT amount of weight to the ounce by day 12).

I've decided to let go of the stress about this round and just go with the flow and see where I get by day 23. I do know from past rounds that when I have pushed my body to get what is probably too low for me (162 lbs), I gained a few back pretty quickly in P3 and could not lose them again-even with steak days. Guess that's my body saying "Sorry, too low!" LOL

mini, glad to read that the scales are going in the right direction again. Hopefully you have figured it out and on your way to recovery.

everyone else.... keep looking up!

update on my R2. The other day, I reached a new "lo" according to my scale. No, I mean it actually told me "lo" when I weighed in. lol..... had to get to the store and get a new battery it turned out. So I missed a couple weigh-ins. Got on this morning and am at 150.8. almost all the loading weight is gone, which considering that I am living on antibiotics and ibuprophen this week (combined pain from loading which set off massive inflammation of my hip (better today), a really bad sore throat, fever, achies (I still get tonsillitis but never seem to get enough strep in any "period" to get the insurance to pay for them to be taken out) which I was not allowed (thanks, fam!) to just be bed-ridden thru, and now (cue eerie music and screeching chalkboard sounds).... PMS! with all that, I consider this a successful week.

now to lose the rest of this *%$# weight and get on with the rest of my life! lol

LOL about the "lo" weight, Suzi! Hope you are feeling better very soon.

No change on the scale today -- and I am fairly sure the batch of flax bread I made last night won't help that, lol. After today it is back to induction for a bit -- I'll use the flax bread net carbs and calories to fuel today's session in the gym.

I'm having TOM, which also can't be helping. I seem to be on TOM about half the time at the moment -- it's getting rather old. Hoping that stabilizes, too, in time.

I'm feeling very inflamed all over today -- so the elimination of the dairy may have helped a bunch, but I don't think the whole picture is cleared up by any means. Maybe it is just a matter of time.

I'm doing the best I can to take care of my mind and body, and hoping the healing continues.

I got in a good workout today, at least -- upper body work. I probably could have lifted a little heavier than I did, but it was my first time through this workout, and I was trying to get a baseline .... still good enough to get the sweat rolling and my heart rate up, though, and I have a good sense of what weights to increase next time.
