I think this is my first post here. Hello everyone!!!
I started R2P2 yesterday. So today is R2P2D2!
During my first round, I lost 13 pounds. I guess that's not bad, but I cheated A LOT so I would have lost much more had I been even a little more strict. It wasn't that I had many intense cravings because I was wheat/dairy/sugar free prior to starting my fist round, but I kept finding myself in situations where there was many yummy things and many glasses of wine. :dunno: lol! I didn't really do my loading days properly the first time either. And I'm like 99% certain my alleged HCG drops did not have HCG.
Anyways, I've got my hands on some REAL HCG drops. When I did loading this time, I went from 189 to 195. :annoyed: I guess this is normal, but since I didn't really do it the first time, it shocked me! I'm down to 193 as of this morning. Since I'm normally a really clean eater and I was doing Atkins prior to my first round, the loading days were awful. I was cranky, moody, sad, bloated, constipated, broke out in pimples and pretty much wanted to kill every person on earth. :)
This time is a little more important, as my boyfriend whom I haven't seen in a year will be reuniting with me in the middle of July! :clap: I just wanted to post what I eat and see if anyone has any suggestions.
B- black coffee w/stevia, a few strawberries
L- chicken OR shrimp with a tomato
D- haddock OR 3/4 cup of egg whites + 1 egg with some cucumber
I do admit to drinking some diet sodas, as my day to day is hectic (I have my own business) and I started drinking them after I stopped smoking to fill the void. When I get stressed, I feel it's better for me to drink a diet dr. pepper than to eat a square or smoke. Does my meal plan sound fairly decent? Am I okay to eat some broccoli on occasion? I have read the protocol but my brain is so filled with so many other things, I can't keep track of it all. :)

Congrats on your 13 lb loss and starting another round! How long was your first round, and how long do you intend to be on your second round? Even if you could have lost more, 13 lbs is still a pain in the butt to get rid of, so be proud :)
Your menu looks great, and if it works for you, I don't see any issues! Broccoli isn't strict protocol, but many people have eaten it with no problems. If you want some, just try it and see what happens.
I can be a bit of a stickler and would heavily advise against diet sodas, but again, many people drink them with no issue. Some people just continue drinking as normal, others try to wean themselves off slowly, and still others cut it cold turkey. It's up to you, but you can drink them and then cut them out to see if you experience any difference!

So far I've lost 43 pounds in total. My first round was 21 days I think. I honestly didn't keep very close tabs on anything. I will do 21 days for sure on this one.
I think I will continue with including my diet sodas and then if I find myself not losing much, I will cut them out. I don't really anticipate any more outings involving lots of food and booze so if I just really focus this time, I think I'll have more success.

If you plan on keeping the soda just be aware of the sodium. I've heard it hinders some folks but not others. Make sure to drink lots of water and/or green tea!
I agree on the focus - if your head is 100% in the game then you'll definitely have a better round (in my opinion).
