i hate HATE this round :(
Grrr.....I am HUNGRY and can't stop eating too many fruits. No off plan cheat foods just too many fruits and too many cravings. Grrrrr
I am taking pellets, today is VLD #12. Only down 3lbs, goal of 10. I know it takes longer when you have less to lose but I have a ton of fat still for my size (26% body fat) Stalled at the same weight since VLD#8 so apple day Sunday, maybe that will kick my fruit habit, I will be so sick of apples haha. Can it be July 2nd yet? I am tempted to stop the pellets early and move on to Paleo. ![]()

Have you tried increasing your protein and veggie portions a little? I am guessing too much fruit is causing your stall. Maybe a little more protein to combat the hunger would be better???

Hugs, Venti -- I HATE rounds like that! I've had a couple of genuinely miserable ones
I finally jumped ship on hcg altogether (I did finish my p2, but it wasn't easy!) -- and am trying JUDDD now -- so I know what you are saying! I may yet go back for one more round, but not before giving a good, honest go to JUDDD -- I'd really like to be done with hcg for good. Last edited by minimonkey; 06-22-2012 at 01:18 PM.. |

I would have jumped ship a lot sooner than you. I would have caved a while back! What have you been eating? A menu would help. Have you been rogue? If you have been rogue than you can try strict protocol. Tell us more details and let us help you!! |

I went back and looked at the thread where you asked if anyone was starting in late June. I see where you posted you were going to do cardio and up your calories to 700. Have you done that? It could be the exercise or the extra calories. I would cut the exercise and go back to 500 calories. If you are eating too many fruits, then you may have to cut them out for a few days and just eat veggies and meat. See if the cravings go away. Maybe you have yeast that is giving you the cravings.

I can't do p2 and work out at the same time -- I finally accepted that. After a couple of weeks, even normal daily activities become challenging for me on p2 -- I know some people manage it fine, but I couldn't do it.

mine sucks too...I have never had it this bad...I can't stop cheating. I sort of did a refeed because I felt like I was starving and it helped...I felt much better for a few days...now I can't stop myself...I'm so mad at myself. uggghhhhh...or arghhhh...whichever
![]() The worst part is I am 23 days in...I know the chances of stablizing in P3 are slim...but with any luck, I'll be fine. I just want to scream. ![]() My plan is try to pull it together for two more days, stop dosing on Sunday, and slip into P3 on Wednesday and see what happens... ...sorry you're having a hard time too...but know you are not alone ![]()

Sorry you are feeling this way. I have done my rounds after getting to goal just like that. I have cheated on every round since reaching goal 2 summers ago. I feel like I can have what I want, even though I know that I will not lose for about a week and waste money and lose time. I just cannot help myself for some reason. I don't know how to get off the crazy cycle too. I wish I had words of wisdom for you. Just know YOU are not alone either Once you have that first cheat, the next ones are much, much easier. |

Thanks ladies. It is just so hard!
I lost 10lbs my first round was very stable and happy eating loads of healthy fat.....then xmas came and gained 5 back so round 2 took that back off. Didn't do a proper p3 and bam 5lbs came back so here I am now. I want to do a proper P3 again so I can be stable following the Paleo plan. The scale did move down a little this morning so almost 4lbs gone. I wanted to workout but have not so I am at about 600 cals maybe more with all the fruit. Here is a typical day Egg whites/1 whole egg, tomato apple chicken or beef with veggies apple strawberries sometimes a grapefruit as well...see the trend....Grrr....I would probably be at goal right now if I didn't eat so damn much fruit! I am trying to keep it together today. I found if I drink more coffee it fills me. I also took 3 doses yesterday and was not as hungry when I woke up today so I am upping my dose again (was doing 2) |

My fatigue has gotten worse with each progressive round, not better.
This is one of the many reasons that I think I am finished with hcg -- it doesn't seem to be good for me, in any way. I don't know what the answer is, but for me, it doesn't seem to be hcg. |

miniminkey-How are you doing with JUDD? I am doing Paleo after this. Have you ever stopped dosing before the 21 days? I am not sure I can make it another week but don't want to mess anything up. Since Paleo doesn't allow for starch or sugar, I will be able to do the full 3 weeks on P3

Agentventi, I would strongly suggest you protein up. I would never advise someone to get off hcg early, except in a medical emergency, of course. YMMV. Your daily diet posted lists only one serving of protein. That sugar in the fruit, while healthy enough, is not enough protein and too much (natural) sugar. I'll bet it's throwing you off. Can you eat meat? If not, can you eat nonfat Greek Yogurt and drop the fruit or cut it way back, only one serving? Can you eat a little nonfat cottage cheese? Or make some eggwhite shakes, spinach/strawberry/eggwhites/stevia to get that protein up? Unless you're a vegetarian and can't, that's what I'd do.
I just moved over to JUDDD for P3/P4 at this time and my last hcg round I did with beef, nonfat GY, and eggwhites almost exclusively. One fruit and one veggie a day and stuck to 500 calories doing that. I know, I know - not quite protocol, really close, but it was the best I could do. I really need more protein than the plan calls for, for my PT, and I have issues with chewing (TMJ) so that's what I did. I'm so sorry you're feeling hungry and having issues. The other thing you could try is try adding some psyllium fiber with nothing else in it, to your shakes or just stir it in water. Make sure to drink at least 8 oz water with it or it might cause issues along the way down. It's a good fiber and will help you feel full. My brand says 100% psyllium seed husks with no sweeteners, preservatives, artificial colors or flavors added.

I am going to stick it out for the week. Saturday will be my last pellet day and next Monday will be my first day of P3.
I am doing an apple day today in hopes that I make myself sick of apples, LOL. I am making some P2 chili tomorrow and I am going to do some light exercise. Here is my plan for the rest of the week B egg/eggwhtes L tuna in mustard with salsa or cucumbers or chicken with mustard D P2 chili or chicken with salsa S strawberries blended with water/grapefruit |
