Just started, anxious and excited!

Hi, I am glad I found this forum. Thanks for all the postings! I was able to grab some Intermountain pellet from netrition.com.

I am excited (and a little nervous too). Just started P2 this Monday. Cannot believe I gained 8lb from loading! OK, I confess besides steak and nuts, I did bake a batch of chocolate lava cakes for the father's day and helped my husband to clear them out Today is VLCD #2, already lost 3 lbs. Hope I can get rid of the loading weight this week.

Don't sweat it, I gain 8 lbs on my load and lost it all the first 3 days. It feels good to get back on I bet.

Thanks, dawnyama and C'Marie.

I am only down 1.4 today. Was hoping for another 3. Oh well, at least it is going down.

I have been really hungry, even after lunch/dinner, it is like the food did not register at all. Is it too early to play with the dose?

Thanks, happy Friday.

I'm 5 days into Round 4 and have lost 61 lbs total. But it has not been straight weight loss...I've often managed to lose 2.6 lbs one day and gain 1 lb the next day and then drop again on the following day. and I seem to do this ALL the time! Even though I have been eating to protocol... and drinking my water, and getting enough sleep for me!

I've dosed at 125IU (Simeons standard dose) for all 4 rounds. I did all Rx hCG--Injections during round 1 and sublingual in rounds 2-4. (For me it was cheaper and with less needles!!!)

If you're doing Rx hCG, and hungry, then typically, your dose is too high. If you're doing hhCG, and hungry, then you may need to up your drops/pellets your taking (or so I've heard on the board)...

You may want to check out the free YouTube.com Videos by WeightLossApocalypse on the "Hunger Scale". Robin Phipps Woodall has written a book (with the same name) about this protocol...and I wish it had been around when I started on Round 1...

Good luck to you resolving any issues you may be having.

Jodie

I'd give it another day or so. Try to space out your food, and get lots of water or broth (no starches or sugars in it) or tea. Sometimes the hot liquid fills me up better; sometimes making a smoothie of my fruit and veggie fills me up better. Try a celery/lemonade drink - 4-5 celery stalks, tablespoon real lemon juice, few drops of stevia, cup of water. Very nice and filling. Or broth with celery warm.

Another 1.6 down today. 2 more to go for the loading gain.

Hi, Jodie, wow, we are only 1 day apart! I am on P2D4.

Yes, I've been googling the hunger on P2, and yes, I got conflicting info. Some websites say the dose is too high if you feel hungry right after eating, some others say it is too low. Guess I will give it a couple more days before adjusting.

Hi, Marie,
The celery/lemonade drink sounds tasty. I will get some celery and give it a try tomorrow.
I drink tons of water/tea, at least 10 cups per day. Should I eat something in the morning? I try to hold off as much as I can till lunch.

My daily menu generally looks like this:

morning: 1 cup coffee, and 1 cup of chocolate drink made with 1 TSP cocoa (no sugar) + SF chocolate syrup
lunch: 100 ~ 150g of chicken/shrimp/tilapia, ~4 cups of vegetables (lettuces, cucumber, reddish, tomato, celery or cabbage). I don't mix veggies. Sometimes I will have ~100g strawberry, blueberry or raspberry.
Dinner: pretty much the same as lunch.

I don't eat melba toast, as it starts my carb craving pretty bad.

Sounds like you've got it handled. Are you doing 500 calories or slightly higher? depending on which protein you eat, and which veggies you choose you may end up that way. That may end up being an issue that slows you down; it may not.

I like eggwhites the best for instant hunger fix. I make that (the homeogenized ones in the carton, just eggwhites, no color or anything) and some baker's cocoa with stevia like a chocolate shake. I usually can save enough calories to do that, I kinda spread out my protein a little that way from 2 servings into 3.
