Mine's in Management also - which is funny, cuz I've been running a business for more than a dozen years
But I'm learning a few new tricks LOL.... and it makes me be able to sell myself better as an outside consultant to actually have the degree I guess. I plan on doing traveling corporate training as the hubs retires (we are ten years apart in age) cuz I'm going to work lots longer than he will at this point and I want to travel when he's not tied down to his workplace. I don't have to be tied down to mine, learning all the technologies to be "remote" is my goal. I'm on my last of my VLCdays after taking my last shot Tuesday (rx, 72 hours) and then tomorrow is P3 and my JUDDD up day to start that rotation. Hubs last night listened to me talk about the new thing I was going to be doing. He's super supportive, never judgmental, concerned that I work too hard, etc etc so he does all the grocery shopping and always asks what I need, so I was explaining the JUDDD calorie rotations and why, the studies, etc. He was intrigued! He wants me to make him a chart of what he usually eats, how many calories etc is in everything and I think he wants to try it with me! I about fell off the couch! He never has wanted to do any particular eating plan with me. A few years ago he did a 7-day veggie/fruit only fast and then watched his intake of crap for quite awhile but it has, of course, snuck back in. He said it made sense to him and he also wrote down the information for a friend of his at work that has some health issues that the study said it may help. I am sitting here this morning still shaking my head. If we did this together it would be so nice!

I have a recipe for Strawberry Syrup I found yesterday when I found the baked Huverous eggs. It is really easy. It calls for sugar but obviously you would change that to what ever it is you use. Take the strawberries and boil them until they are no longer colorful and add the sugar and boil it until it nice and thick then add the sweetner drain the juice out into the jar and store it in a Mason jar or glass jar of any kind in the fridge. It looks really yummier than it sounds in the video. Food Wishes Chef John... he has a lot of good recipes that could be adapted. That is where I found the eggs( I left out the cream and oil and used one egg and 3 whites ) in mine and they were still wonderful.I am having them again today as DH bought me some fresh cilantro!

Hi everybody.
I am back to releasing about a pound daily or every other day or so. Got good results from juicing for one "meal" per day, still ate all my fruits and breadsticks, used egg whites for shakes and they were delish. If anyone is interested, I will post recipes. Anyone wanting sunscreen, I am aware of Aveena and Neutrogena making oil free ones I have used with good results. (But I use stuff with oil in it like make up and seem to be getting away with it, your results obviously may vary) Berta, I do use something similar to egg beaters, it is just plain old egg whites and I am still losing fine. I would just check there is nothing "illegal" in there and pure eggs.

I love coming in here and seeing all the support you are giving ![]() You are a great cheerleader for us all and I appreciate you ![]() About the protein---you DO NOT have to switch up your protein at every meal. Dr Simeon's does NOT say to do that in his protocol. It was suggested later as a stall breaker. Someone mentioned that if you are seeing slow losses, you should look at your menu and IF you are eating te same thing day in and day out you should switch it up. But if you want to eat chicken and tomatoes for every meal every day--go for it!! I have done that and lost with it

Hey Everyone,
Tuesday and Today I've experience something I didn't have on the last round - cravings!! I've been really wanting to eat things I'm not supposed to. I haven't yet, but it's getting really difficult. Any idea why? Any advice? Thanks! |

I was up.2 but not concerned about it as I was on protocol.I was re-reading Pounds & Inches and did you know it says we aren't to take a laxative by mouth? First time I read that one. I was taking Milk of Magnesium. But it says if after four days you feel the need!(who wouldn't feel the need after 3-4 days ?) that they can use a suppository.Sometimes I am not to sure about him However I do know his plan works![]() Last edited by Berta48; 06-21-2012 at 01:37 PM.. |

Hey Berta!
![]() I'm doing better today thanks! How are you doing? I feel I do better when I don't step on the scale and can just concentrate on sticking to protocol. I drank sooooo much water yesterday and felt great! I usually drink 8-9 glasses, I think I hit 12 glasses! I think I will make 12 my goal each day. Love the way it makes me feel! |

Thanks Dawn. I feel the same about youHere is the paragraph I read from the Pounds and Inches. I may have inturpeted(SPELLING) it wrong... but from what I can see it says to eat something different at each meal. ![]() Under Making Up The Caloreis....pg 51.... In America, therefore, low-grade veal should be used for one meal and fish (excluding all those species such as herring, mackerel, tuna, salmon, eel, etc., which have a high fat content, and all dried, smoked or pickled fish), chicken breast, lobster, crawfish, prawns, shrimps, crabmeat or kidneys for the other meal. ![]() Quote:

Oh, I see it now. But it is talking about when you are eating the veal for one meal, you should choose another low calorie protein option for the other meal. Not about chicken or fish. You can have those for every meal if you wish! Like I said, I have had chicken for every meal for a week and I lost weight! Worked for me! Last edited by dawnyama; 06-21-2012 at 02:28 PM.. |

I think he is referencing to the point that beef/veal is fattier...so maybe not having beef 2x a day is not recommended. I try to have beef 1x a day every few days. Soooo...3-4x a week. I usually eat it as gr. beef and pour 1/2 a can of Ro-Tel over it...yum...sooo good! I do not touch veal...I don't like the fact of "baby" cows being killed, and they are CRATED their whole, short life. Last night I had a small piece of rib-eye steak...yum-o ![]() |

but I am praying I'll get by w/o a gain![]() But I am not having the hunger like I was on HHCG.So that was my main reason for switching to RX. I like only taking it 2x a day and not having to wait to eat or drink after taking it. Anyway Taryl said I didn't and that is what she is doing. I think JUDDD would be awesome for lifestyle but for losing I want the RXHCG! Intermountain HHCG brand is available online if you do a search. I hope I don't get band for saying that? If I do you have my e-mail![]() Is nail polish allowed on HCG protocol? Since summer is here I like keeping my toe nails and fingernails nice? Berta---I have enough pellets. Don't you worry. I think JUDDD is perfect for maintaining as I am doing well on that part. But I want to lose!!! I don't want to sit where I am right now. I am not sure on the nail polish. I cannot see where it would be a problem. I know that manis and pedis are out because of the oils/lotions they use. But the polish should not be a problem.

I found the baked eggs and I love them I just switched it up a bit( no cheese ,oil, or cream and one egg and 3 whites instead of 2 eggs).Maybe shouldn't have the tomato sauce but it was only 1/4 cup. The WF BBQ sauce is great on my burgers, and I am baking my chicken as I type with the WF orange mamalade on it.I fixed coleslaw with my Tilipia the other night with the Miracle Mayo. So tomorrow I'm buying a lean eye of round or top round roast. ANd I love shrimp so I am ok. I eat raw cucumbers a lot. |

I'm good thank you I'm about half angry at myself tonight. I gained .2 this morning then went and ate about six tortilla chips with salsa tonight WHY did I do that?![]() At least I did stop with six! I did get through the day yesterday without cheating. Phew! I'm thinking today will be better. I didn't wake up hungry like I did yesterday. I started out eating too early, and I think was my big mistake. I shouldn't start eating until about 7:30. Once I start eating fruit, it spikes my blood sugar a little and that always makes me really hungry! So from now on, no early morning eating for me! My weight was the same this morning, but I feel like I'm about to have a good loss. That should give me the motivation to stay strictly on protocol so I can see the scale go down tomorrow morning!

hungry
Morning, everyone!
VLCD #3, dropped another 1.4, still have 4lb loading weight to shed ![]() From what I read, it seems hunger is not uncommon for the 1st week. But I got pretty hungry about 1 hour after I eat too. Is this normal? Thanks & happy Friday! |

Hi everybody!
![]() I miss being part of this board! I'm just kinda hanging out, maintaining my loss and trying to psyche myself up for another round. I'm eating what I want in moderation but I exercise pretty frequently. And MAINTAINING! My big, big goal is to lose this weight & keep it off for good so this break is more than just a break. I MISS Y'ALL! I hope everyone is doing well! Be blessed!!! ![]() |
