Repercussions of Cheating (non-scale related)

Hey everyone!

I have a general curiosity question about cheating that I'm hoping someone can answer.

I know that when one eats off protocol in P2, they can gain weight, stall and/or not be able to slabilize in P3. That much I understand. (Somewhat. I'm still a bit iffy on how cheating on say day 16 can stop you from stabilizing weeks down the road.)

Anyway, I'm wondering how cheating on BAD foods affects future FAT LOSS. For instance, say someone eats a bunch of sugar and starch. The next day, they go back to protocol. They never stopped the HCG at all. A couple of days later, they start losing weight again. Would the new weight lost still be mostly the abnormal fat because they are still taking HCG? Or would the fact that they cheated on bad foods change something in their body that makes them start losing muscle, as they would on a starvation diet?

I don't think I've seen this question asked before and the search function didn't help me with this one. I'd be interested to hear your opinions on this.

Cheating on the wrong types of food does seem to anecdotally affect fat loss more than cheating on greater quantities of legal foods. I am unsure of all the reasons why, but I assume it has to do with the hormonal state we are trying to achieve with fat release over protein/glucose metabolizing in P2, and we know from the research of those like Dr. Atkins, Dr. Amanda Sainsbury-Salis, and even Gary Taubes that not only is energy consumption and use a carefully orchestrated biological balancing act, but that different nutrients act on the tissues and brain in different ways. So it stands to reason that the type of food cheated on would matter, even if we cannot figure out precisely why.

But that doesn't really answer your question, sorry. I have noticed that to be the case, but couldn't explain why.
