HCG vs. homeopathic HCG
I'm newly researching this so would love some input from those with experience. I see several of you who have succeeded with the HCG diet have used both the homeopathic versions and the Rx version.
So, 1. Which did you have the best results with? 2. Other reasons you prefer one over the other? 3. Best place to find details about the entire plan for a true newbie? ![]() Thanks so much! The results many of you have had are very encouraging! Congratulations on your successes! ![]() |

Hi there. I have done 3 rounds hhCG and one rx. Results were about the same as was appetite suppression. On the rx, I really loved the convenience of just giving myself a tiny shot once per day instead of worry about not eating or drinking anything 15 mins before or after the pellets or the drops. Also, I didn't need to worry about mint, camphor or tea tree in my products--all of which are contraindicted for homeopathics. I followed the original plan as written in Dr. A.T.W Simeons book, Pounds & Inches (free if you google it online and definitely worth reading over and over). My only deviation was omitting the bread for all but one of my rounds (wheat sensitivity). There is updated science on WHY and HOW the plan works with the 500 calorie protocol in Robin Woodall's book Weight Loss Apocalypse, as well as some critical information about emotional and social eating and how to stop it. I wish I had read it from the beginning of my journey. For a quick overview, read here...
HCG diet short form (p.s. Thank you for the compliment on my success thread! )

Thanks so much for your response. The Rx HCG is only available via a doctor, correct?
I appreciate all the advice on what to read. I like to do my homework before I start anything new... |

HCG Alternative
I did my HCG round with alternative drops that actually don't contain any HCG and I lost 23lbs. I can't imagine how much more successful I would be if I tried the RX kind. I did have a few days where I cheated so the next round I will be more diligent and see if the difference shows.
Good luck with whichever one you choose! |
