COST OF PRESCRIPTION HCG...NO INSURANCE
Is anyone getting their HCG thru doctor and have to pay without insurance? how much does this typically cost per month?

$75 per dr visit and $50 for the script $10 for syringes =) want me to pm you the drs name? |
I do not go through a doctor. I have gotten my homeopathic hcg from the 'net and for 3 rounds worth (I lost all I needed to and got to goal!!) paid just less than $100!!!
|
LaraSuzz-How did you find a doctor willing to prescribe? I'm in the midwest in Cleveland, OH and doctors are very conservative. i'm afraid to even mention it to my doctor
|
chesapeakers - My daughter is a Lactaction Consultant at a major hospital in Ft. Worth and quite a few of the RN's and other medical personnel have done the Hcg protocol. She says that some have done just as well on homeopathic. In fact, she was wondering why anyone would pay the doctor fees that are expected at clinics plus the cost of the meds? My Bff just paid 700 for 60 day round.
Sounds like Larasuzz has the best deal that I have witnessed. :dunno: |

I was super lucky to find him and yes there are many clinics in town that charge $500 and I know I could never afford that. |
suddenly I'm unable to send private messages...=(
I must have violated the rules... which I just read that says youre not supposed to post pricing. What do I do now? Sorry lowcarbfriends!!! |

It was my first time doing injections and did not feel comfortable doing it on my own, so I went through a clinic who WAY overcharged me. And to make it worse, I did not even keep the weight off (MY fault- not theirs). This time I'm doign injections ordered online and paid a tiny fraction of what I paid at the clinic. Knowledge really IS power!! |
AW, Lara, I'm sorry.
I thought it was ok if you were using a doctor to give info about that doctor, (because that's not ordering it off the internet and possibly getting something not good and it being illegal in some places) -- clarification please, administrators? Are we allowed to share info on a licensed doctor? No one wants to run afoul of the rules. I just re-read the announcements section on that and it doesn't say whether we can or we can't ask/talk about our own doctors. |
Thanks Lara for the info. It sounds like your doing great and congrats on finding the right doctor! :hugs:

Really they'd ban you without talking to you or giving a warning? That's not cool...it's not like you did it on purpose geesh....
|
No warning at all, I went to reply to a pm and there was no option it was gone. Kinda made me sad lol
|
Lara if you go to the main page LowCarbFriends.com - Weight Loss Support and there is a place that says "contact us" and explain. They will probably work with you.

I guess this is all new to me...lol. I don't have an email button at all. I never paid attention. Has anyone else noticed if they have their button...did they (the admin) remove it from this thread?....I wonder:confused: |

Sorry Lara! It seems anything I ask or touch someone gets in trouble :( I did get your original pm thank you very much! I dont know why it would be wrong to post a price...you didn't even say the dr. name or brand or anything? jeesh i just wondered the cost difference between RX and HHcg. Anyway...i started round 1 and am going HHCG. I can't really afford anything else right now. Thanks again for your PM.

Hi Sunday, thanks for the info on others experiences you have gathered. I have heard many testimonials of the homeopathic hcg working just as well for some people as the Rx too. I am actually an RN myself :) I felt most comfortable using an Rx product, and to be under a doctors supervision for the first round, due to other health conditions I am managing. I just started with one of the physician supervised hcg clinics for my first try and did not find it to be too expensive (in terms of clinic pricing). If I see positive results with this first round, I plan to approach my endocrinologist about continuing future rounds under her care. My endo is a DO and they tend to be much more holistic and open minded than many MD's. I have realized that I probably need to show up with some serious results before Endo or my Internist would consider. They have both been working hard with me on my weight struggles, and I really wonder what the buy in would be if I showed up to my next appointment 25 lbs lighter.....
