When am I finished with P3?
Hey ladies, I decided to do an extended p3 for my first round of HCG. I stopped counting but think I'm on week 5 or 6-ish. I fluctuated a lot the first few weeks, but only went outside my windows [over and under] about 2 or 3 times, usually doing a correction when I got close to 2lbs over LIW.
I guess I'm a little scared to move out of this phase until i know the 'resetting' has occurred. Well, I cheated 2 nights ago and had a giant turkey sub on white bread, and some bites of pizza, ..and i didn't gain the next day, or today...is it safe to say i'm finished??? And if so, what now? I'm laughing at myself for making such a big deal of this, I was also terrified to move out of p2..it's just I made so much progress, I'm feeling good about my body for the first time in years and I don't want to watch it all come back. Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, how did YOU know when you were ready to move on? |

it sounds like you are doing fine
![]() I would add back a little at a time only...just to see how your body reacts to the food...maybe start with oatmeal ![]() I would guess your body isn't going to react all that crazily to grains the first time out that you would have to do a correction day...The purpose of P3 is to reset your hypothalumus and I would say that's a done deal. P4 is maintence and it seems like you have maintence down...so enjoy and congrat's Hope this helps (and for the record...I am always terrified to move out of P2...but P3 is such a welcome change) but P4...it's always difficult to jump in...and a word of advise...ALWAYS correct if you need to and right away...do not allow yourself another day or do it tomorrow kind of mentality...it never works!

THANKS!!Definitely trying oatmeal for breakfast tomorrow, thanks for the idea. And I'll have a chicken on stand-by just in case. I keep having guilty thoughts everytime I use Stevia, I'm just not comfortable w/ all the faux sweeteners, and everything I THOUGHT was natural I'm reading isn't actually so good for us at all...ahem, agave nectar, stevia, i'm looking at you.. Have you found anything that works well for you [and doesn't sound like it was made in a lab!] Summer's here, I just want to make some bbq sauce that doesn't taste artificial! Thanks again Cristen, congrats to you too! ![]() Last edited by sam.eee; 06-10-2012 at 09:43 AM.. |
