nerves
Starting R3 on Sunday to lose the last 7lbs and starting to get nervous. Nervous about dropping my cals so low, nervous about losing muscle (I got "soft" my last round" nervous that because I will still be working out 4-5x's a week that I will gain and not lose. I have a high bodyfat percentage so I know I have a lot of abnormal fat, I do not need any more!!! Nervous I won't be able to maintain even if I do get to goal. :(:dunno: I keep having 2nd thoughts.

My last round, I had 7 pounds to lose. Because I was determined to be SMALL and be toned, I broke protocol to have a banana before working out. And I made SURE that the workout was going to happen before I ate it. I MORE than burned it off at the gym.
I believe I would not have been able to work out without it. In the past I have blacked out due to lack of easily accessible sugar calories during an aerobic workout - my body is finicky that way. I'm happy with the results. I lost, slowly as normal. I lost 7 pounds on the scale, but because i know I GAIN muscle, I figure that I lost 10 or 11, and I got MUCH smaller, and I looked amazing. I maintained just fine - until i had a family emergency and had to eat at the hospital for 3 weeks and was in survival mode. Also, I would ask: What is your option? What do you want? |
I also want to be small and toned too. I am short and smallish, i see some muscle but have layers of fat over them. I am pear shaped and all my fat goes to my butt/hips/legs. The only thing that ever got that fat to go away was hhcg. It came back after eating carbs again and doing heavy weights 6x's a week with little cardio. I am easing off the heavy weights only doing them 3x's a week and adding cardio. Did you stick to 500 cals even with the banana or did you do more cals? Did you count it as one of your fruits for the day?
Thanks! My only other option is to be happy being pear. I have tried south beach to lose it and am in week 2 and still weigh the same so that is not working to attack the fat, not sure why I thought it would. I lost 35 lbs 7 yrs ago with south beach but I would not say I looked toned. |
