Desma, you mean both at once? The hcg cupcake with the egg and chocolate?

If you don't mind going off protocol to mix proteins, there's nothing wrong with either one. However, I made that hcg cupcake in the mug in the micro last night and it was ok, but just kinda tasted like "chocolate eggs" lol. It might be better as the pudding option. So I'm not sure it'd be all Happy Birthday like. I had strawberries and nonfat Greek Yogurt on my birthday and loved it. I was doing a round then. So far I've done a round on my birthday 3 years in a row My favorite birthday dinner was crab YUMMYYYYY !!!!!

Morning all.
VLCD 9 for me. Down 4 pounds total. Normal. Have some serious health problems happening associated with Lyme - so I'm VERY glad I chose to nourish and flood my body with nutrients while I'm doing this.

12 days ago, after a trip, I was at 148. That's almost 10 pounds over my goal! I did fat fast for a couple of days before starting loading. Took off 3. Started at 145, now I'm at 141. That's pretty good if you ask me. At least I fit back into my clothes now without looking downright tacky in my dress suits, (pencil skirts are unforgiving).

2 more pounds for me! I'm mentally prepared for 3 or 4 days inside each pound.

I have 2 doc appointments in next few days for neurological Lyme disease. Relief from pain would be nice.

Looks like great weather - hope this finds you all losing!

Morning everybody. Grrrrr I am in a 5 day stall and frustrated. I think its an old set point. Trying to be tough. That P2 friendly cake may be a good comfort food! Either that or I will have shrimp or lobster. Its hard to feel deprived when you have those!

I like the idea of the fat fast at this point--Ty for posting that Red.

Congratulations, Red! You are doing great. Sending good thoughts to you for your health and your doctor appointments.

I dropped another pound today - R1VLCD5. I'm already seeing a big difference in my face and neck with just these few pounds gone. I was looking really puffy - I hate that! Made me look older than I am, and I don't need that!

i made it last night to and it was like chocolate rubbery scrambled eggs---probably left it in to long, but i might try it one more time, and cook it on the stove so i can keep stirring it and maybe add a little more cocoa

I've made the mug cake but added a Dove Sugar-Free chocolate (1 or 2) into the wet mixture. It makes it so much better!!! It makes like a hot gooey chocolate in the middle and kind of hides the eggy taste. I'm not sure if the sugar-free chocolate is 100% protocol though It never caused me any problems. I would think it's just cocoa powder & sweetener.

Back to lurking/reading....

Hey C'Marie, I wasn't going to have them together, but based on what I read here, I'm not doing to cupcake. So did you gain or stall as a result of the yogurt? Did you have a veggie too?

By the way, I'm up 1.3 from yesterday!!!! I don't know how that happened. I'm going by the protocol, I'm only drinking water, and I'm at 500 cal everyday!

Don't get discouraged Desma! It happens. Expect a big ol' woosh soon.

Red, you're doing great! I'm so glad the juicing is working. I hope you feel 100% better soon.

Hang in there Martiangurl!

Go Gibby Go!

I'm down another pound. I'm so anxious to see what the end of this round brings for me. My actual 23 days is up tomorrow, but I'm low on drops so I'm just going to ride it out.

Thank you TiffanyM! I'm hoping it's because of two things and let me know what you think:
1. I had cabbage as one of my veggies and maybe that's too heavy a veggie for me and
2. I haven't had a movement in two days

Hoping things smooth out over the weekend.

Your not having a movement is probably why you gained. Don't worry - if you are doing the protocol, it will come off.

Gibby is right.. One of my gf's suggested I get some smooth move tea. My advice is drink it at night and only drink 1/2 a cup! Only when you need it though.

those who are having problems with cupcake, are you using a whisk to stir it or a fork? do you have enought cocoa and sweetner to cover the egg flavor? its a lot of experamintation to get it "just right"
this is not P2 (I think its P3-4) but if you have a5 day or more stall
dont eat drink water only for as long as you can (I can usually make it til 1pm) then eat the biggest steak you can with lots of butter and seasoning
no vegges or potato (natch) then follow that with more water
I alway drop about 2-4 lb
also it doesn't hurt to add some colorless fiber to your liquids

I should try that - I'm still having issues "going" ya know?! That was my main issue in P2, had to rely on laxatives and Smooth Move tea. I've been in P3 for a week now so I figured it might resolve itself

Happy Saturday everyone!
I'm up .2 this morning - but I'm not going to stress about it. It could be a dozen things.
I cannot dose anymore due to some healthy stuff related to Lyme and some treatments I need to pursue. But, the good news is that I fit in all my "skinny" clothes, and I'm only one pound over my healthy bottom weight. (When I go under 140 my body does not like it- I got to 138 before, and my body freaked out). So, I'll accept it, focus in observing the rules for 48 hours, and then I'm usually just fine in P3. I LOVE P3.

141.
And that's a wrap.

I'll still be around.
Wishing you all a great losing day. :-)

Congrats dbunny! I'm hoping to be where you are in 9 days too! Oh and thank you to everyone who gave advice on my "movement" I used smooth move last night and was able to go. It wasn't a lot but still......it was something. Too much TMI? If so I'm sorry.

I lost 1.2 of the 1.4 I gained yesterday (for no reason) and hoping for the whoosh I keep hearing about. I can't believe I'm having weight gain. But at least it came off the next day, well at least most of it.

Question for everyone.....

Does your digital scale fluctuate? Mine seems to. I get on at 7 am and I'm one weight, get right back on at 7:01 am and it's a different weight, then at 7:02 am it's something else.

My regular scale says something total different (lower) which I love, but still
My digital scale is brand new

Nothing is off limits here, girl. We talk about any and everything here. Let it all hang out. How else are we all supposed to know? You are not the only one with this issue, just so you know. Glad it worked for you

TRYING R2 AGAIN

STARTING R2 AGAIN. I started R2 over a month ago and got really sick and had to stop. (I don't think it was the Hcg as I did not get sick in R1). Finally feeling better and ready to try again. I lost my job 2 months ago and promptly put on 20 pounds over the end of my last R1. Depression and Carb binging. Major bummer, but all my fault. My highest weight was 320 and I got down to 200 by other diet and exercise methods. I got down to 169.5 on Hcg and now I am up to 189.5. So officially:

RD2 LD 1 189.5

Goal 138
