reshaping round questions

I am just trying to figure out my 3rd and final reshaping round. I want to do the 800 calorie protocol just so I can continue working out. However, I am getting conflicting advise on if you load for a reshaping round? I wouldn't mind losing 5lbs as I am 4lbs above my LDW.
I work out in the morning so I plan to have protein before my workout and an apple after. Thanks!

Well, you wouldn't need the extra calories jut for working out, a light to moderate workout is just fine in P2 and I did it with no issues, myself

But yes, you still load for a reshaping round, as you are still trying to consume enough calories to cover the gap between normal eating and your metabolism switching to fat stores for energy instead of dietary intake.

Arctic -- It depends on the kind of workout one is doing. I tank really badly if I try to work out while on p2 -- but I train hard. I can barely manage it on 800 to 1000 calories a day, even for short periods... so that is very much an individual thing.

Minimonkey, have you loaded for all your rounds? How many cals do you burn when you workout and how many cals do you consume while taking HCG? I have been doing weight training and building some muscle which I assume is why my pants are tight and my weight is up. Now I want to shed the fat so I plan to fewer weight days, probably 3 and do 5 cardio days. I will probably burn about 300 cals so that is why I thought I would do the 800 cals but I will see how I feel, might need to bump it or lower it.

My last round was to lose 5 pounds, (okay, 7), and get really toned.

Like the other phases, I really listened to my hunger, and went by it. If I got hungrier, I increased the protein and veggies. If not, I stuck with the usual.

I always had a banana before working out. It REALLY helped me to do well at the gym. I don't think I could have done much of anything without it.

As I got down to the absolute bottom, I started losing stamina. But now I know my body's bottom weight, and I don't have to go through that again. Looking back, I'm not sure my body was happy being pushed like that. (I can be very focused when I have my eye on a goal). I got to 138 and by body REBELLED. But for 3 days before, it was coming. Stamina slowly declined to about 25%, and then, the last day, I was suddenly STARVING and OBSESSED with a need to eat. I didn't lose my head, I ate sensibly, upping the portions. But the reaction was so severe that I felt it wise to stop dosing and nurture my body again.

redsSkinnyJeans-Did you lose still eating the banana? I plan to listen to my body and up the protein when needed. I don't think I am at bottom because I am 26% bodyfat on a small frame

Yes. And I easily went through twice the calories that morning. I made sure I waited, NO CHANCE I'm going to have the banana and NOT go to the gym. It was something that my body needed for me to do the cardio. I know from past events that I will actually see black spots and start to pass out from doing cardio with too little calories handy to burn.

Venti -- I've had rounds where I have loaded, and rounds where I haven't -- I have found the rounds where I loaded were better in the long run, for the most part.

I've managed to lose well on up to 1000 calories a day on p2 ... in fact, I seem to lose just about as well on 1000 calories as I do on 500. I do better if I have a bit of fat in my diet (particularly coconut oil) -- without it, my metabolism seems to grind to a halt, hcg or not.

I have no idea how many calories I burn working out -- I've never tried to calculate it -- but I do know that if I try to work out while on anything like p2, I end up tanking badly, and also stalling. I've given up even trying on that one -- which is why I am jumping ship on hcg altogether for now, and dearly hoping that JUDDD will do me well. I am all about hitting the gym HARD this summer -- it is beyond time for that!

I have an active daily life, so even if I am not working out, I get in a fair amount of exercise (walking, lifting, etc. -- I am in motion a lot of the time.)

If I can't make this work, I may be back for another round later in the summer -- but right now, it is time to lift weights and give JUDDD a chance ... and hope I never have to go on p2 ever again, lol!

MiniMonkey-I have heard a lot of people are doing well on JUDDD. I may have to check it out after I finish P3. Good luck!
