What are they fried in and with? I don't know the answer to your question Berta until I have a bit more info! Green beans are allowed and squash is too on P3. But depending on what they are battered with and fried in........remember no starch and no sugar in P3.

Well then......go for it!! Don't you know you can have those veggies on P3? Especially with oil!!! You do know that, right? There is a list of P3 foods in a sticky. I hope you have run across that one.

Berta--you are too sweet! And have solved my supply issue problem!! Thank you so much. I would love the pellets. I wanted to try them out for my next round. I would love to have chips like you have described. They sound awesome!!! Don't think they would survive the trip to SC though LOL. Maybe if I make a trip out your way. That would be fun, eh? Have a meet up!! Oh my, and to have someone else cook those goodies for you??!! What could be better than that???!! Enjoy them Berta!! I have heard of some hcgers once getting to P3 getting out their dehydrator and drying out their fruits and veggies. Makes me want to go out and get a dehydrator LOL. But I guess I will make do with my oven for now. I have some yellow squash fresh from the garden that needs cooking. Think I will roast those.

Oh, don't worry. I don't need the beans. I will trust you. I think there is a recipe floating around the recipe forum that is about those green beans. I don't know what they are called something like ugly green beans, maybe? I will keep my eye out for them. They might resurface since garden veggies are starting to come back.

Have you gotten coconut oil yet? I don't recall if you actually bought it yet or not. If not, I can send you some to try! That would be a great exchange. Let me know if you want to try some.

I don't fry in the virgin oil. I use the expeller pressed coconut oil for frying and baking. Which oil did you use? I have extra of the expeller pressed. Did you want to try that one, or do you have that already? Louana is pretty cheap and I can find that in my Walmart.

It isn't virgin its a mild flavor for sauteing and frying( put evoo but wasn't thinkg I guess). Yes I have the expeller pressed Organic Coconut Oil.Please don't worry about it. There is no need for you to feel you have to exchange anything .I offered and don't want anything in return.

I also like Canola oil I realize that isn't the healthiest but still use it at times.

It was the coconut oil I tried frying the beans in.I have eaten almost a whole pkg of the boughten ones

They must be yummy!! My kids love green beans. I should try frying them. Do you fry them like you would fried chicken? Or like sauteeing? We boil our green beans and they love them that way. And we have a whole mess of green beans. My DH's aunt is watering her friend's garden (as well as has her own) and she has bunches of veggies. Being by herself she cannot even put a dent in it. So we can reap those benefits! I will be stopping by to see her a few times this week.

I tried frying them like I would french fires.BUT ewwww they were nasty. I only did a few as I didn't want to waste the. I ae a half bag and my stomach starting hurting me really bad I had to take a dose of Mylanta but feeling much better now.I am belching them like crazy so evidentally they made gas in my stomach, I will have to be careful how many I at at once

Thank you for hte link to the green beans recipe.

Oh by the way can we have those fried onion rings in a can like you would put on green bean casserole?I really like green bean casserole and thought perhaps I could come up with a "legal" mushroom soup recipe if we could and make a casserole.

We were up intil 4a..m. this morning neither of us could sleep so I am going to bed now.I will chat with you later as we don't have church tomorrow evening as usual because of having the luncheon and song service and reminence after the lunch tomorrow.

Berta--I have enjoy those onions in a can. Only a tiny bit though. I top my salads with them for the crunch. I love them!!!! They are not the best, if you read the can you will know why, but I still eat them and they are sooo good!! Linda Sue has a low carb mushroom soup recipe. Have you been to her site? If not, I can direct you. She has some awesome recipes!!!

Dawn
Yes she has some awesome rcipes.
I was up another lb this morning. This is so hard maintaing on PH3 I can only gain .2 and I will be above my LDW window. I will be that in the morning I bet.I just can't seem to stabelize.I have cut back on portions and haven't had carbs or sweets this entire time.I am suppose to go toPH4 the
9th.I am almost afraid to. I am doing another stk CD tomorrow because we leave Tues for vacation.

I can't figure out what it going on?And why I can't stabelize.

Did you gret my email last night asking you to re-send your address? I deleted all the ones I had read then remembered one had your address on it

The church luncheon was not so good for me.I didn't over eat I had 2 pieces chicken with skin and breading off and two very thin slices of ham and a TBL spoon or so of apple salad.BECAUSE everyone brought pasta salad, potato salads, pea salads, baked beans, beets all the crappy stuff

I had 1/2 of 1/2 of a very small piece of yellow cake and then didn't eat all of it!
Tonight I am having a GY with strawberries smoothie. Hope for a zero gain in the morning but I'll have to wait and see
Should I go on to PH4 or stay with Ph3 on June 9th? I am taking my scales and apples and tomato with me just in case I have to do a stk CD while on vac.
Love ya
Berta

Berta---I just sent an email. And I answered your questions there. Basically the gist is to HAVE FUN on your vacation!! All this stressing is going to put the weight on. You really do have to relax and let the program do its work. You just eat like youare in P3 and things will be fine. If you have a bit of sugar or starch, unintentionally, it is NOT the end of the world. I know you don't want to gain your weight back, but being on top of things will make sure that won't happen. And if you gain a few pounds while away, they can bve taken off when you get home!! Vacations are for enjoying!! Remember that, sweetie.
