Desma, are you having a BM? I gained 1.6 pounds yesterday, only to have a BM and now, I"m down that 1.6 I've lost 6 pounds total in 10 days. Of course, the first two were loading days..and since I do not want my boyfriend to know I'm doing this, I did drink on Friday and Saturday.

I can't remember who was hungry...but, honey, I'm hungry all the time. I'm starting to get used to the feeling. I know I have to go to bed hungry...and that is ok. Right now, I want to eat my arm off ).

I didn't have a BM today. I've been pretty slow with those. I purposely didn't weigh myself from June 11 - June 18 because I was tired of the emotional baggage that comes with getting on the scale everyday, but when I did, the total lost was 6 lbs. I'm going to try and make it to VLCD 35, but I'm having a hard time with getting on the scale everyday and seeing disappointment.

Desma ~ you are doing fantastic! You are losing an average of 0.7 lbs./day which is super. If the scale is going to make you feel awful, stop weighing every single day and let the protocol work. It will work whether or not you are weighing As long as you are following protocol, no worries!!!

You need to remember this protocol is working on a different level than just a diet. You are repairing years of damage done. The scale may not move but you may still be losing fat. If you have a chance, watch some youtube videos about "weight loss apocalpse" - FANTASTIC explanations of what is going on. I have been watching her videos and having some real "AHA" moments.

I'm doing everything strictly to protocol. And see this is why I don't like weighing myself everyday. It's messing with my head and now I feel like my day is starting off bad!
Stalls happen. Drink lots of extra water if you can and try to be zen about it.... I do know it's very very hard; I'm not patronizing you or trying to give you platitudes. I've been there. Really. I have had 3rd weeks that had zero losses and then they picked up again in the 4th. Never can tell. Your body will do what it can do and forcing it down just usually means it pops right back up.

Yes, 6 pounds is not bad. You would not have lost six pounds if you'd been doing any other type of diet. AND I know this diet is hard. I really want a cupcake. But, my clothes are loose...and that is better than any cupcake ).

if your doseage is correct and you space your food out you shouldn't be hungry. the reason I'm dropping out is I leave home at 5:30 am and dont get home til 10:00 pm shower and go to bed. no time to cook my food to stay OP, If I had the time to fix my food I would stay on hHCG where else can you lose .5-2 lbs A DAY!!
again if you are hungry space your food out don't eat it all at once
my normal menu was
brekkie
fruit
lunch
3 oz meat and greenies "salad"
snack
fruit (if I dont eat it mid afternoon I eat it before bed)
supper
3 oz meat and a cooked veggie
lots of iced tea w/ truvia, and crystal light

I want to go back to leaving the scale alone and weigh in once a week. The only reason I weighed myself today was because I wanted to know if I could be stalling since I don't feel like I'm changing anymore, that way I can do something to correct it and not go a 7 days on a stall.......know what I mean? But thank you! It helps to know that my body is trying to repair itself. So I'm going to hang in there for these next two weeks

Desma, You have to do what works for you! I'm at the beginning of round 4 and each one has been different.

But most often I will lost a pound or so...then the next day go up 0.4 lbs then down 1.5 then up 0.2...And I've eaten to protocol...and had a BM AND drunk 1/2 my weight in ounces of water.

That IS frustrating.

BUT the general trend is downward...and that's where I want to be.

Hey! So you think you'll be able to lose the metformin when you reach your target weight. I know my PCOS made me insulin resistant but I didn't want to take anymore pills.

Anxiety or GI issues

I have a couple of questions. Has anyone else had heart palpitations? I'm on the rx injectons. It is entirely possible that they have nothing to do with the hcg. I have a lot of health issues.

My other question is about what cuts of beef you use. I was at whole foods tonight and wasn't sure what to get. They had a few grass feed options but I didn't want to get the wrong thing.

I gained a couple of pounds loading. Hopefully it will go away soon! Looking forward to getting to know everyone.
I too am a healthy unhealthy person who has had palpitations. The HCG hasn't seemed to cause any of that. However. If I am constipated I will get palps something to do with the vagus nerve. I also suffer from anxiety. Are you anxious in any way about the new meds? Magnesium will drop your heart rate quickly if it shoots up. It'll also make you poo. On one occassion I drank a glass of water with a teaspoon of Epsom salt. Palpitations stopped and then came super BM. I am now armed with Valium in case of panic attack. Rarely need it. Actually ONLY need it to fly.

Did you lose 87 lbs. though? Or is that a typo? It says you started at 280 lbs. so if you're at 208 that is still a 72 lb. loss from where you started!!!! I'd say that's a huge success

I think you are doing very well for your first round. Stall and then lose is normal for a lot of women. I agree with weighing less often if you are pretty sure you are following protocol. If you are still learning, I would still weigh daily to be sure you don't gain. Also, many ladies report on days they don't lose pounds, they lose inches. So maybe if you did measurements and saw the losses there, it would motivate you???

Hi all, I'm down another 1/2 pound. I'm toward the end of my cycle so...I could also be bloating up. I've lost 10 inches though. FANTASTIC.

Martiangirl, so, did you lose over 60 pounds with HCG? Or did you lose that some other way? No matter, that is amazing.

Desma, how are you doing? Feeling good? I do recommend measuring (I only do it once a week).

Hey DRM! Thank you so much for asking about me!

Ok, I'm still staying away from the scale, and I measure once a week. However, I only measure my waist and hips, so I could be losing inches elsewhere. I feel better just sticking to protocol and weighing and measuring weekly. I KNOW I look different and I see my body coming back.

Congrats on the progress DRM!

@Desma That's one thing I regret - really regret - is that I never did really any accurate measurements when I actually started. I only did a couple places, and then after my first round I was like "DAMMmmm" and wished I had. I started keeping track after that, and increased the places I was measuring.

I'm on my last day of 72 hours after my last dose! I get some FAT tomorrow LOL.... I bought a teeny tiny amount of bacon
uncured no sugar

And then I start my JUDDD rotation with a DD the next day --

Congrats C'Marie!!!! The one thing I hate about the P3 list is you can't have popcorn. Out of all the food I miss, popcorn is #1! I'm not craving it, but popcorn is my favorite snack. I miss avocados too.......enjoy them for me!

I think I might start measuring other places with my upcoming measurements. LOL I care more about my waist and ups than anything!!!!!

Good going soontobesexy!

Desma, measure everything, boobs, waist, hips, thighs, arms. You'll see huge improvements.

C'Marie, I love bacon. I miss bacon and avocados. I am mostly a paleo eater...and those are ripe on that plan. However, I seem to eat too many nuts when I'm doing strict paleo. If you eat 1K calories of nuts, you're not going to lose any weight!

I'm officially down 8.2 pounds from Day 3! And with that, I'm off to bed. Later, ladies!

Awesome. My clothes are definitely too big. I weigh daily, I also completely fell off the wagon last night. BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, loaded tater tots and a buttery nipple shot.

Note to self: DO NOT GO TO BIKE NIGHT ON HCG DIET!!!!

I wasn't even HUNGRY, just TASTY...I was just chewing because it tasted so damn good. I had to look up the calorie/fat whatever info to load into my tap n track app and it was awful. Granted. It was a total of 1450 calories for the day, compared to my 490 average i'm sure i screwed myself. I WAS 158...now 160...immediate OOPS. Had an apple day today. Back on track and hitting the walking path.

That's great SkinnyB!!!!! I love that my clothes are getting big too!

I bet that burger didn't really taste that good now did it? So that's how an apple day works? I thought it was to break a stall? I need to re-read P&I!
