Last day of vlc for me. Man, this last three days has seemed ENDLESS! HB eggs for breakfast tomorrow, real dressing and avocados on my salad, butter on my nighttime veggies. Can you tell I am looking forward to it?

Well I am up ANOTHER lb. Today 260
So I am doing a steak and tomato day .Sure hope it works cause the last CD I did, did not work and then I am told it isn't a CD ? I hate PH3 I want to go back to PH2. PLEASE![]() I usually quit when things like this start happening because I want to see losses not gains. It is really discouraging to me. Guess I'll just have to wait and see what I weigh in the morning before doing 2 CDs in a row. ![]() Also my DD was here and I won't be doing the RX HCG next round because she says she has to mix hers and add vodka according to the instructions? I don't drink alcohol of any kind any more... so I will NOT use that. I will stick with my HHCG.I don't to fool with having to mix it up.ANd the HHCG worked fine for me.

No vodka, she has incorrect/erroneous mixing instructions.
Alcohol will degrade the hCG molecule and decrease the efficacy, big time. Mixing for sublingual is dosed at 125 iU strength of the hCG (which you already know Mix only enough to last for three weeks of doses (one dose in the morning, one in the evening) and store in the fridge. Do NOT shake the bottles to mix, only gently roll themin your hands. HCG is delicate stuff and prone to lysis from either force OR osmosis, so mixing it with neutral, gentle solutions and handling with care is a must if we don't want to lessen the efficacy of the treatment. If your daughter needs new mixing instructions I have a few links I can send you that make the quantities and procedures very clear, just ask

I've stayed on my induction plan for losing a bit more and maintaining without much sweat in P4 and it is working BEAUTIFULLY! I am 168.4 today, which is lower than the weight I started with this month, so I have officially lost all the birthday, anniversary, and mother's day fat I gained through celebratory eating. It has been a slow creep downward but I am gratified to be back in the middle of my range and heading toward the bottom. The plus sides are that I'm satisfied, too. No cravings or crazy hunger, thanks to ketosis, and the menu is to my tastes, if slightly light on veggies. I'll up those in step increments once I hit 165, I think, and then maintain there for the rest of my maintenance round unless or until something changes (either pregnancy or another P2).
This is my weight chart for May (hopefully it shows up): ![]() It is hilarious, you can see the ups from the first and second weekend in May, which were my anniversary and birthday dates, respectively. Then there's the correcting from them, maintaining, overeating at two meetings and subsequent correcting, then ending the trend with my period gains, losses, and here I am today. Weight is NOT static, but I think this proves that with vigilance and persistence any gains can be corrected and we can continue on. If I produced the entire chart of my weightloss over four years, the pattern would also be obvious - lose, maintain, lose, maintain, slight gain, get it under control, lose and maintain again. I buy my hCG from international pharmacies through the Internet. Some are reliable, some are not. Escrowrefills is the current go-to source, but it requires an invite code (which I can supply if you want to go that direction). The way you figure these things out is through talking to people also doing it this way - in my case it was through the yahoo group HCGDieters that I got reliable sources for hCG and supplies. Then it was just a matter of ordering, mixing, and having at it. Nothing terrible complicated, actually

It is what I have mentioned before - a powder that gets mixed (yes, with a mixing needle) into a solution that is then administered under the tongue. No needles are used to dosing, it you need them to correctly measure the amounts of fluid involved.

Wow, sorry for the typos. No needles are used in dosing, but they ARE needed to measure the correct fluid amounts. You use a needle-less syringe to measure your dose for sublingual, but that's about it. And that is no harder than using an eye dropper, really.

Morning all. First day of P3. Well...first OFFICIAL day... I, well, I went a little crazy yesterday...
No carbs and no sugar but around 3pm, I started eating fat. And wow did I eat it! My poor GI tract! Jeeze. All the things that I said I WASN'T going to eat. Not sure what came over me--it was like an out of body experience!--but picking myself up, dusting myself off, and going forward with P3 today as planned. Still inside my window but right at the tippy top so I am going to be EXCEEDINGLY careful today. Happy 529 Day everyone... (google it! )

Well I did my steak day yesterday to the T.Only down on 1.2 lbs still 2.8 over my LDW so now what do I do.Eat today and another CD tomorrow or what?

Shelby - I always treat the first day or two of P3 as a refeed of sorts, on fat and protein. Otherwise I get in that crazy, deprived mindset and it is a bad thing to persist in. Eating cleanly and satisfyingly today is an excellent idea, I think.
Berta - Yes, I'd do one more steak day and then take a break before resuming another. Tht is a good loss and hopefully you can move a bit more out soon! As for me today, I was inside my window at 169.6, which is excellent considering I exercised right before bed (and am sore today) as well as ate corned beef (read: salt bomb). No complaints from me about this |

I finally found the new phase 3/4 thread!!!! I'm new on here and want to do my phase 3 successfully. Hey, who doesn't! I start phase 3 in two days and I can't wait. I am dreaming of eggs for breakfast! I did one round of hcg starting May 1st with my first loading day. As of today I have lost 19.2 lbs. I am going to do another round starting in September. Summer is to hard to do another round because of travel etc. We are going to Cuenca, Ecuador in July! I like the support I have seen on here...I've lurked the last 2 days. lol!

Hey maintainers!! I'm popping in. I'm sure I'm up, but didn't weigh today. I had a great time eating this weekend, celebrating and having a generally wonderful time. I suspect i'm up 10lbs but we'll see tomorrow. I'm doing a GYCD today, mostly b/c I love the stuff.
The good part of all of the indulgence? well, 2 things actually. First. I'm actually a bit relieved to be back to normal eating. And secondly, my small attempt at RRARF (eating more to build up your metabolism) seems to have helped. I had a basal temp of 97.6 this morning (w/ forgetting my dose of thyroid med last night)! That's remarkable for me (usually 96.2ish). And bodes well for my metabolism. I can't keep eating this way (although it IS fun!!) but it's good to know that when I do get down to my goal weight (again) I will be adding more starches/sugars back in (not crazy like!!) and hope/expect that to help my metabolism.Did a good workout today - weights and HIIT. Feel good. Swam w/ the kids and enjoyed my GY. See you all in the morning ![]()

You'll work that gain right back down. Great job getting your temp up! Been a rough few days here, went out to eat Fri, gained and did a unsuccessful steak day Sat. Then had a death in the family Sun, and I let old habits get me. Was up to 128 Monday morning, did a GY day and a clean P3 yesterday, and now I'm back to 122. LDW 121.4. Very excited my body went down so quickly, though it was scary to be up that much. Hope I can stay on track now. Have a great day ladies! Hope to be around more now, it helps keep me on track! Good morning folks. Well, I am up another 0.5 from my first day of P3 which puts me over 2 pounds over LIW, despite keeping it clean and on the low side of calories yesterday. HOWEVER...I've given myself a slightly larger window because I am feeling that as much as I like the mid-130's, that it's a bit on the low side for me. I also can't do a proper cd today (a couple of social engagements) and I leave for Chicago tomorrow so I will keep it clean today and while I am gone and just see how I do. ![]() Taryl-That's so good!! WTG!! !! Very glad to see your Atkins approach got you right back down to LDW!! Shelby-you'll do fine. That initial bump up wasn't even full blown P3 yet, so I suspect your body will settle in a bit. Keep it clean and controlled (tricky when you're travelling!!) and I'm sure you'll be fine!! Tonya- good to see you. on the loss. I'm sorry to hear that and I comfort myself w. food too often too. I'm really happy to hear you went back down so quickly!! ![]() Berta-hope you're down today too!! I'm at 156.4 today, after a GYCD yesterday (which I thoroughly enjoyed!! love it!!) and I know I was up much higher than that before. I'd like to get back down to 150. I'm working out pretty hard (for me) these days. I don't want to overtrain, but I do love lifting weights. I'm trying to only lift 2-3 days a week, and do HIIT 2-3 days too. I like my new routine and don't find myself making excuses to *not* do it. Which is definietly progress for me. So, Atkins style induction + GY is the menu this week. Made salsa chicken for the fam last night, so leftovers for lunch. Had a yummy omlette w/ cheese already this morning (strangely hungry this morning - which I think is a good sign). I'm going to try to *listen* to my body better. I am learning more and more about hunger, leptin, society and cultural eating habits (set times, social eating, overeating b/c the food is there, etc.) and working on taking back some of that control and being quiet enough to "hear" my body. We'll see. I'm going to be mindful but not obsessed. I'd like to add more healthy carbs back in long term. I don't plan to stay at induction or even OWL levels for too long. But I do know what Taryl does, that it works. So, I'll work it . |

Hi all... not sure what happened yesterday but today I'm up 3 so I'm doing protein only today to see how that goes. I think its salt since I didnt have any sugar or starch. I had coffee with hwc and I might just do some eggs and or bacon. Good luck everyone on getting back down. =) Lara
