Morning Maggie and everyone
I am very happy today!!! I am 1.2 BELOWmy LDW. I actually lost a little more but wasn't sure so I added another lb. just in case

I did a STK correction day Monday and lost 1.2 lbs Then did another yesterday and today I was down 3.8putting me under LDW.
WHEW I was worried but it does work! SO from this day forward I am eating mostly PH2 foods but adding in different veggies (green beans, turnips, cauiflower and such ) with butter and of course some bacon and deviled eggs, and have to have my cream in my coffee.I drank tea on PH2 as I can not drink coffee without my cream I have tried many times and can't stand it w/o.

I love Folgers Caramel Drizzle and Creme Brulee Coffee.

Well enough said.

Maggie your son is a handsome man. I will add him to my prayer list.
Please thank him for fighting for our freedom.May the Lord watch over him and keep him in all his ways.I pray a hedge of protection around him and that the Lord will bring him back home to you safely!

You are doing well KUTGW. When do you go to PH3?

Berta, you are right, we WILL do this!

cocoa, that passage was amazing! I must STUDY it!!!

Tiffany, I'm back on the wagon!

Had the biggest drop ever today...3.6 pounds released. I am very close to getting back to the 170 decade I was so excited about last week.

I'm on plan and motivated today. I went and got two big bunches of celery and some chicken breasts to cook up tonight as a soup...it's a perfect lunch for me. I also got some Miracle Mayo (we'll see how that goes) to add to eggs on top of a salad for dinners, as well as some cottage cheese which makes for an easy meal if I'm super busy, or lazy...ha!

I've lost some of my life enthusiasm in general...trying to find it again. In the meantime, working hard at work (I had a great performance review yesterday!!!), staying on P2, working out at the gym, keeping up with 2 kiddos, & trying to grow spiritually. Whew.....I'm exhausted!

Dbunny and Maggie - Yay for your losses! Great job!

Shelby - You're welcome, I hope your gf's like it So excited to see you later today in LA-LA Land!!

Berta - I'm glad the steak days worked for you! Now you know you can do that whenever you need to.

---
Today is Day 40 for me, so I gave myself my last injection this morning and was kind of sentimental for a couple of minutes I've been counting down and crossing off the days since April 21 and now I'm like...wait, what am I gonna do now?! Haha. I weighed 161.5 this morning, so down 0.5. I won't be able to weigh myself tomorrow morning unless my hotel bathroom has a scale (hey, that happens sometimes!) so I guess I'll use Friday's weight as LDW and hope for the best! Plan today is:

b - coffee
l - veal, baby spinach, strawberries, grissini
d - beef and cabbage a la Shelbyla YAY BEEF!

Have a great day today!!

Sunflower - So proud of you!! You'll be in the 170's soon And I'm glad the passage helped you. If you think about it, a lot of our food now is totally insane compared to what we evolved on..all of the sugar and chemicals affect our brains in ways we've never experienced before, and food ends up being like a drug. OF COURSE we suck at resisting Just do your best to stay on plan, don't put yourself in too many bad situations, and reap the rewards! And congratulations on the good performance review - just goes to show that you can kick some @$$ girl!

CONGRATULATIONS on the loss!!!!That is awesome.

You hang in there as you have a whole new life ahead of you. The word says "God will make a way when there seems to be no way" Just take it one day at a time, and keep your eyes on the prize! We can't have a future until we let go of the past.
You have two beautiful children and you are beautiful. I wish you much love, joy and peace.!

Should I continue for a few more days?

Need some advice
I'm close to my goal for this round. 174 today my goal is 169. My last vlc was to be tomorrow. I'm 5 pounds from my goal. I've done 30 days with one re feed. The pounds are finally coming off after the one meal re feed of fat and protiein. Would it be better to end my round as a planned or stick it out till goal.
If I do another round it would not be till end of summer.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
I also have a detox rash that started yesterday....

Thank you.

I don't really know as I am new.But didn't want you to think no one was answering you.Someone will... give them time.Sometimes it is hard to get everyone answered right away. But there are some very wise HCGERS here to help you make the right choices! Best wishes to you!

Berta, Sometimes our bodies need to catch up with our decent protocol days!!! And I know it's frustrating when you go up...but it doesn't make sense...You just have to know you're doing the right thing...and the weight will come off!

I've been missing the HWC in my coffee...so when I'm on P2, I only have tea... but I start a PI in 4 days....HWC, here I come!!!!

Sunflower...sounds like for you as well as Berta, things are coming together... To me, the scale is a frustrating thing...sometimes it seems to work and other times, when I know I've followed everything properly, it stays the same or goes up!

On those days, I just mark down my weight...and go do another protocol day. I can almost count on going down 1-2 lbs, then going up 0.2--0.8lbs...the down again...I feel like I'm on a roller coaster....But overall, I'm down...and that's good.
Hope you continue to have a great week!

So so excited to see how this all works for me! I am R1P2 day 1. I am already sick of eating fatty foods. I started a little pre-load yesterday...hehe.

Getting my self all geared up for my first 500 calorie day on Wednesday. Going to measure myself tonight and then take some pics on Wednesday when I have my husband available to be my photographer

I have read lots about this diet. Read Pounds and Inches so am planning to do this by the book. Will be at this board for support for sure. I am doing injections, 125iu. I was worried about giving myself the inj, but it's SO easy and painless. Not scary at all, just a little prick...no blood or anything. Goes right into a little fat bulge (which I have plenty of) with a teeny tiny needle. I decided to go with injections since I know I would be bad with the 3 times a day drops. My work schedule is too hectic.

Happy Tuesday all!

Annie
! This is a great place to be able to come and ask questions and get most of them answered. Are you following the hCG Protocol as written by Dr Simeons in Pounds and Inches? I'm sure you have all your foods ready for week 1...and the really important part is to drink the water (most folks tend to do 1/2 their body weight in ounces of water...(for example weigh 200, drink 100 oz)...having enough water makes a difference! And since it's summer...watch the caffeinated iced tea...the reading I've done on this indicates you'll want to drink an additional amount of water (equal to the amount of caffeinated tea or coffee) you drink!!!

Here's to a successful round!

Good question. Often folks will base the end of their round on the end of their hCG mix or finishing a bottle of pellets/drops.

Other than maybe being "bored" with the food, is there any reason that you couldn't continue and do a long round to lose the rest? If you're ready to test your wings and begin adding more fats/proteins/veggies, then by all means, move on to P3.

But if you have the extra week or so, why not see if you can get to the weight you want...or even a little below? You could always do another round later...but why not start off lower?

You're well within Simeons recommended long round length of 40 days...so that's good...

Sorry about the rash...another gal has been posting about one---you can do a search and see what other folks suggested. It could just be part of your clearing out process...

I started my 7th round today - well, the VLCD1 was today. I loaded Monday/Tuesday. This round is an utter, complete redo of round 6. I am disgusted with menopause and the hormonal/thyroid changes I am going through. I kept the weight off after round 5 for the better part of a year, then started gaining, and lost again in round 6 and went further down. I'm higher now than I was before even doing round 6, in fact, I'm higher than I was during part of round 5.

I am doing a minimum round, which I've never done before, because I simply don't have enough time to do anymore and stabilize before vacation. Wish me luck!

Back at it! I can't get fat again if I don't quit trying!

I'm also menopausal...and having to deal with some of the same issues. ...Just rememebr (as I'm SURE you do)...most of us have found EACH round to be TOTALLY differrent...whether it was with foods we did or didn't eat...and the attitudes and issues we've had to deal with over the round...Nope...it's not easy... BUT the results are Sooooo worth it!!

You've been an inspiration to me... since I know I'll need to complete at least as many rounds as you have, if not a couple more. I hate when anyone says..."Take it a day at a time..." but it's worth doing so.
Lots of luck, willpower, strength, caring, and hugs coming your way!

Morning (ugh--if dark o'clock can be called "morning"). Just a quick pop in here. Down almost 2 pounds this morning from my clean day yesterday. Met Miss Cocoapeanut last night and had a lovely P2 meal with her. A nicer and prettier little gal is certainly not to be found! We had a really fun time talking diets and work and LA and boys! Anyway, will post a pic soon but wanted to give you all an update. Off to Chicago this morning at LIW +1 which is just dandy! Goodies packed for plane nibbles, plan in place, and fingers crossed to come back <140! You kids be good while I'm gone...

How COOL, shelby & cocoa, that you got to meet in person!

On a previous board I got to meet several people at a get-together in Virginia. It was a quick trip but well worth it for the 24 hours I got to spend with some amazing people!!!

I had another big drop today. I released 2.6 making it -6.2 in the last 2 days. I'll take it though!!! Next mini goal is to be in the 160s decade! Maybe my Monday complete fail at P3 jump started me. I'm eating clean. Didn't make it to the gym last night but I know I need a break sometimes.

Today's plan:

b-coffee w/ ff creamer, snl
s-green apple
l-chicken & celery soup
d-spring mix with egg salad (if I can stomach the egg salad, I used Miracle Mayo), if not I will put some cottage cheese on the greens
s-strawberry smoothie, if needed

Be blessed!!!

Just popping in to say hi. P3 is going well. I'm maintaining within a couple pounds. So far so good.

We didn't end up going to NC this week. The camp said that if we go down there it would be more like the week of the 11th. Kind of a bummer because I could have stayed in P2, but we just didn't know. One of the people doing the interviews for the camp had to go out of town on business so it threw the timing off a bit.

But I'm happy that I'm down 12 pounds and will feel (and look) much better at the wedding coming up a week from Saturday.

Happy losing everyone! Have a great week!

Shelby - I had such a great time! Thanks for everything!

Sunflower - You're rockin it girl! Great job on the clean eating The 160's had better get ready for you!

Vanna - I'm happy P3 is going well! I guess you could call it an interruption and go back to P2? Not sure on your scheduling though. Either way, 12 pounds is great!

JT - That sounds like such a fun trip with lots to see Have a great time!!

---
Well, not sure what I weigh this morning, but I feel pretty good! I'm eating apples all day so we'll see how it goes. I've got a bunch of time to kill before my job interviews so I'm trying to distract myself

This week is flying. Have a lovely day everyone!

Gotta love drop from VLCD1 -4.2 pounds (all loading BLOAT-GAH!) which makes me feel better, for sure. I was so sick loading it wasn't funny. I may have gotten something yucky by accident, it wasn't loading ick, it was ick ick.

I am really trying to maximize this 23-day round, never did an official "short" round before. My biggest challenges are: sleeping and water. Other than that, it's like auto-pilot after so many rounds.

Nice to see you all!

Marie, I'm doing a P2 at the same time as you? AWESOME!!!
Today is day one, and I'm only doing 2 weeks.
Gained almost 10 pounds in last month - long story.

As you know, I'm normally a real by the book gal - but I'm just doing this.
Oh, and if that's not enough - I'm doing this with juicing too. (lower calorie juices; lots of greens and one apple)

I know - I've lost it. I don't care :-)

Glad you are here!

Hi all,

R3 here, Day13 and it is going to plan mostly, except for a nasty rash that is either detox or yeast. (or maybe a sunburn?). For some reason, R3 has been the easiest so far. Anyone here going longer than 45 days on drops? Just curious.

Yay! I got a little happy skip in my heart when I saw you were in P2 also! let us know how the juicing and the short round does. I'd just be afraid to not do the whole length of time, you know, the whole let the hypothalmus rest and it takes "approximately" 3 weeks to do it thing. Of course you know he says it MAY mean you gain it back. But maybe if you're just getting back to where you were it will look at the older setpoint? I dunno. Hope it works for you!!!!!!! you skinny girl you!!!!

Anyway, will post a pic soon but wanted to give you all an update. Off to Chicago this morning at LIW +1 which is just dandy! Goodies packed for plane nibbles, plan in place, and fingers crossed to come back <140! You kids be good while I'm gone...
Back. So happy you and cocoa had a nice time. It was almost as exciting to me hearing you two plan it.... as if I were going too Do you travel with your work or just living it up? Sometimes I wish I were young again. My most exciting thing is if I can get up and walk across the floor without tripping AHHHH old age No honestly I love life and I am happier now than I've ever been in my entire life it's just a bit boring sometimes

I've been missing the HWC in my coffee...so when I'm on P2, I only have tea... but I start a PI in 4 days....HWC, here I come!!!!
I hear you I drank tea on PH2 but I love my Constant Comment by BIGELOW and also the True Blueberry They are decaffinated too! Herbal I believe?BUT when it comes to my coffee gotta have my creamer COFFEEMATE however I've switched to Whipping Cream now. That still makes no sense to me.But it works.... so I don't care if I don't understand it
I had to smile when I read you hate someone saying take it one day at a timeBecaue that is what I say all the time. I have to do this one day at a time.If I worry about tomorrow it doesn't change a thing and yesterday is gone and I sure can't chnage that.So today and eating right is all I can do!!!!

Sorry about the job perhaps the chance will come aorund again
I wish noiw I would have stuck PH2 out until the 40 days. So this next RND I'm switching to RX HCG mainly because my Daughter does RX and she says she has never been hungry! And I was starving the entire time but I did make to 25 days. With a loss of 20lbs so I keep thinking if I went the 40 I might have had at least 35 off But that's in the past can't change it,
I like eating on PH3 it is just so hard not to gain.Anyway it had been for me.So since I finally got back down below my LDW I am being very careful and keeping track of what I eat and If I have a significant gain I will know what caused it.You have great week too and KUTGW

(I missed this trip last year due to knee op...so I'm thrilled to be doing it THIS year!!! Woohoo! Will try to check in but laptop service may be iffy...then back around the 15th.

WOW That's a great loss CONGRATULTIONSI like the Miracle Mayo very much!

You can do it.Just hang in there. You have already came a long way so KUTGW

Vanna - I'm happy P3 is going well! I guess you could call it an interruption and go back to P2? Not sure on your scheduling though. Either way, 12 pounds is great!

JT - That sounds like such a fun trip with lots to see Have a great time!!

Well, not sure what I weigh this morning, but I feel pretty good! I'm eating apples all day so we'll see how it goes. I've got a bunch of time to kill before my job interviews so I'm trying to distract myself

This week is flying. Have a lovely day everyone!
Well, I was really thinking of starting another round of P2 mid-June, but I was wondering if it would be too soon. Is there a danger in starting a new round with only two or three weeks between? I have my niece's wedding coming up next weekend, so I will wait until after that.

Good evening... Not feeling so hot today, my throat hurts terribly! Taking it easy, resting, and drinking lots of tea.
No loss today, and I ate cabbage again last night. Grrr... Waaahhhh. I love beef or chicken and sauteed cabbage. So yummy and filling, but I guess I will shelve that veggie for now.
Berta.. I think they moved to the P3 thread?
Keep at it, lady chicks!
