P3 Second Week Update and Question

Hi everyone!! Second week of p3 done and heading into third week!

I am going to start with questions first:

1. It seems I have mostly added just dairy back in my p3. Am I taking in to much dairy? Should I cut back my dairy and try to add something different? I am not a big nut fan so I have not cared to eat them. Is that ok, or should I try them to see if I have an intolerance to them? I also cannot do eggs whatsoever unless they are cooked in something such as for example a recipe that calls for them (cake, muffins etc.)

2. I have been upping my calories the last few days past the 2000 mark to around 2300 and I seem to still be stabilizing ok. Should I try to up the cals more to see how many my body can handle before my body gains? How much is to much?

Here is what the last couple of days menu and stats look like: if anyone has suggestions I would surely welcome it. Thanks for taking the time to help me!! I am so appreciative to all of you

You don't appear to be having any stabilization issues, I'd say it looks great! That might be too much dairy for some people, but it doesn't seem to be causing you any problems.

As for your calories, that is a fine level to be at if you aren't gaining. Don't eat if you're not hungry, and hunger and the scale are going to be your litmus from here on out. So if you are satisfied and the scale isn't bouncing, that is a very nice range and quite high. You may well need to drop back down as needed and cycle between the two numbers to stay in your window, but it is tough to say without seeing the scale go up or down. For now it looks fine.

Do you think I should cut back on the dairy?

When you say I may need to drop back and cycle the two numbers do you mean between 2000 and 2300? or the 2000+ and my BMI range of 1686? Also, are you referring to when I go to P4 and start adding in some carbs and sugars?

I have not added in nuts or eggs in P3. I don't care for nuts except once and a great while and eggs are just a no go for me. That is probably why I have so much dairy in my diet on P3. Can I live in P3 forever? I love all the dairy. It makes for great meals. LOL. I thought I would continue to stay on P3 for a total of 4-5 weeks before I move to P4. I am not a huge carb eater except for the occasional pizza or pasta so I like P3 alot.

If I stay stable for another week does that mean that my hypothalmus and metabolism has reset? When do we know if it has reset? hmmmmm.

Sorry for all the questions. I just want to get my cals as high as I can so I don't gain back the weight in the future. There are some days that I can eat more than 2200 cals but I don't because I am scared it might be to many/much, and days where I only want 1800 cals and not that hungry. Just trying to figure out if I should try to push for a higher number or stay between the 2000-23000 range.

thanks for answering back so quickly.
