Question - short P2 round?
Have any of you tried a very short HCG round - perhaps 5-10 days? and if so, what were your overall experiences?
Although I am maintaining (and have even lost some more weight) I live in fear of regaining - I would have no trouble going back to an HCG round, but I don't know if it would be advisable if I only have about 5 pounds to lose ... So far, if my weight nudges up a bit I simply pull back on eating for that day - I'm on P4, day 54 (194 days since I initially tried HCG) - I'm getting the nerve to buy some smaller clothes (size 4 pants!!!!) but I'm still worried about regaining. Several years ago I lost a great deal of weight, thought that I had simply gotten back to where my body was "comfortable" - and then proceeded to regain about 30 pounds - don't want to do that again!!!!

Bonnie - I haven't done this (and probably wouldn't, too skeered!
) but I know Jessica/Verbqueen has in the past. You might check out her journal or post there as I haven't seen her on here regularly lately. HTH |

imho I truly believe that short rounds make it super hard to stabilize...
If you only have 5 lbs to loose how about a couple CD's? Much less torture. P&I says no round shorter than 23 days? That rule is in there for a reason, wish I knew why.... |

thanks for the input.
I'm not at a point where I need to consider this - and perhaps if ever I do get around 10 pounds over, I'll simply do the 23-day round. I just found the P2 phase so super-simple ... Right now, if I get anywhere near 2 pounds over, I do (my interpretation!) a CD - typically, I cut way back on food, eliminate all snacking, and concentrate on eating more protein - so far it's working. I find that even a 2-pound gain tends to make my belly stick out - why can't it just settle somewhere that I can't see it!!!! ![]() |

Dr S says that is the time required for the hypothalamus to rest. Also, have you noticed that many say that it takes 21 days to adapt a habit? Hmmm...something magical about 21 days it seems.
