Popping in to say good morning and I'm back for a round 2. I've been struggling for a while on my own so I'm hoping the accountability of posting and checking in with everyone else will help keep me more on the straight and narrow than I have been on my own. There is something about coming here and making it public how you did.

This morning's weigh in was 210.4...I loaded over the weekend. After my first round I think I got down to 207ish...I lost 18lbs the first time. I'd be thrilled if I lost 15lbs this time.

I wish everyone a great week!

Thanks for the new thread Dawn!

Whoohoo! Maggie! WTG!!!!!

Welcome Colleen!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I hit goal over the weekend, yay! So this week I'll be upping proteins to stick this weight. This morning I was up a pound but there was something seriously wonky going on with my scale... I got on it and told me first that I was down 5.5 pounds from yesterday. I mean I exercised yesterday but not THAT much! Weighed again, same thing. Changed batteries. Ah, there we are! The true weight! It was weird to see the low 130's though!
Have a great Monday everyone!
Got to go shopping then I'll be loading tomorrow. I can do this!
Good Monday mornin' all! Hope you all had a great weekend.
Down .6 today - not getting your water in will do that I suppose (that and the 3 bites of DD's DQ soft serve) It was so good. Isn't it amazing that when you haven't had something for a long time how wonderful it tastes? Three bites satisfied my ice cream craving so I am back on track this week.
Plan:
Spinach salad with chicken
strawberries
melba and LCC
Vitamin water and plenty of regular H2O.
Have a great week!!
Yay! Thanks Dawn!
Colleen - ! You can totally lose 15 lbs. Stay focused and happy!
Maggie - Congrats on onederland! Amazing job!! KUTGW
Shelby - I'm so glad you hit goal! I'm starting to think my scale needs new batteries...
Lumina - you can SO do this. We're here for you. Enjoy your loading days and don't get yourself TOO sick!
Tky - I feel you on the ice cream craving, I'm such an insane ice cream fan. Even in the dead of winter in Chicago. My mom ate chocolate ice cream constantly while pregnant with me, so..I blame her!
Vanna - yay for measurements! They're usually helpful when you get discouraged from the scale. I think I suck at taking measurements so I use body fat % as my backup plan, haha.
---
Day 31/43! My digestive issues seem to have cleared up so I'm feeling much better today. Weighed in at 168 and hoping to be 166.5 really soon, since that will be the -20 lb mark from loading weight. And it shall make me happy. And then I shall desire more weight loss
to everyone and ROCK this week!
Congrats on the great losses so far! Keep up the good work
I started back on P2 yesterday after a 13 day interruption. Long story short...I stopped P2(49 days!) to enter P3...I do not like P3...lol. I prolly should have stayed on P2...I was still losing 3-4 lbs. each week...even w/ stalls. So a lesson learned...if you're going strong, do not quit unless absolutely necessary. I lost .4 this morning so I'm at 245.0...I ended at 245.2LDW...so .2 below LDW. Hoping to rev up back to 3-4 lbs. lost each week...we shall see
Have a great day everyone!!!
Congratulations!! You've done great!! Truly inspiring!! I'm toying with another round loading this weekend. Sigh. I'd love to SEE the 130's, let alone get to the lower range!! I hope you can up your cals/protein this week and lock that weight in!! Really hope your P3 goes well!! Wish I were where you are!!
Berta-good job!!
Maggie - Congratulations!! Happy Onederland to you!! SO happy for you!!
I'm just checking in with you losers . You're all doing great!! I'm enjoying maintenance (a bit too much!!) and toying with another round. Even though I'm in the "normal" range and exercising well, I'm still "padded" a bit too heavily. I'd really like to lean out a bit more and hope to be able to keep the exercise going while doing another round. I ordered pellets last week, should arrive tomorrow or Wed. I guess I'll give it a go. I ended my last round March 6, so there's been enough time btw. rounds at this point. I am hoping my head really gets into it soon. My heart isn't (yet) but hopefully I can psyche myself up for it over the weekend.
You guys keep up the losing and inspiring!! Thanks!
I was just thinking how hard it will be to go back to PH2 after eating all the things on PH3 & Ph4 BUT if I want to get it off that is what I have to do!!!
You look amazing in my eyes! If I ever get that skinny I will be so happy
I don't have to count the calories on PH3&4 do I as long as I eat fatty things and no carbs or sugar? As I haven't been weighing things and I have no idea how to enter it into my food log?
Julie - hello there! I could see it being really hard to get back into the P2 game..but you know you're gonna do it eventually! Psych yourself up for the fat loss
Berta - you don't really have to count unless you want to. But if you start running off the rails, it's good to keep yourself in check. Also, just writing down what you eat and when gives you a good idea of your habits, even if you don't know how many calories it is.
Sunflower - I'm so sorry honey try to take the opportunity to think about what triggers your emotional eating and why so you're prepared next time! Now, let me see you back in that saddle!!
You're right. I can do it, I can do it!! I WANT to do it (that's the harder part ). You're doing great, btw. You're such a trooper!! Doing a long round, right? Go!! I have a hard enough time w. 23 days!! Did 30 last round, but won't do that again!!
Berta-thanks!! I am not UNhappy with my current weight. That's kinda' why my next round is half hearted at this point. I don't really want to do it, but need to really commit to it before Monday. We'll see. I like LC but don't really lose on it. Maybe this time it'll work for me? I'd rather do it that way, slower is fine as long as it goes. Plus, the getting to eat to satiation is lovely!! Keep up the good work in P3. You don't really need to count unless you're gaining. Like Cocoapeanut said, if you're doing well don't worry!
Julie
You sound so much like me I am so wishy washy on doing another round or not. I am well into my umptenth round and have been failing at it miserably. I have taken another hard look and will commit to this week being 100%. If I can do it, I will continue on another week. If I cannot do it cheat free for these 7 days, I will quit. I am so like you because my clothing fits, I am at my comfy weight and do NOT NEED to lose any more weight. But I WANT to lose more weight. I know I would be more happy if I lost another 15 lbs because I have clothing for that weight as well, but I am comfy here. And don't want to restrict to lose more. Ah, we shall see what the week brings. So far so good but I always do well for a day have to see what I can do for the week. My Hhcg is going to run out before my supposed round will end as I have wasted half the bottle, so I am waffling on if I should get some more. Lots to think about for a Monday But I feel your pain, I totally get where you are coming from I know what is possible on hcg and want to get back to what I achieved when I got to goal. Just don't want to suffer to get there Talk about head games.
Good luck to us all
I SOOOOOO feel where both you guys are coming from! My last round was supposed to be my LAST round, dangit! I did the round in kind of a half-hearted way mentally which made it extremely difficult to deal with the hunger and the temptation to cheat. I kept thinking, "I don't REALLY need to lose this last weight. I am completely comfortable at 155. This is really a vanity round..." yada yada. Even though I did a completely protocol round (a shorty), I think the consequence for me of this was when I got to P3, I was SOOOO ready to eat P3 foods that I overdid it on the first day. THEN, even though I went up by almost 5 pounds, I couldn't get my head around doing a cd on DAY TWO of P3. I loved the way I looked and felt and the way my clothes fit at 140 but I wasn't really ready to commit to staying there and all that means for a successful P3. Anyway, FOR ME, I think if I had to do it again, I would make sure that my head was in EXACTLY the right space going into P2 for a final round and that I was fully committed to the plan, vanity pounds or not. You can probably tell that I have been thinking about this like crazy, huh?
Good luck to you both!
Thanks Shelby. This really is tough and to think I used to think this was sooooo easy. Only to have that back LOL.
Oh, and what you are doing is what I want to do. Try a round with Rxhcg to see if that would make this weight stick, instead of it being hard to keep off once at goal. I am watching you closely.
Oh, and what you are doing is what I want to do. Try a round with Rxhcg to see if that would make this weight stick, instead of it being hard to keep off once at goal. I am watching you closely.
I kept thinking, "I don't REALLY need to lose this last weight. I am completely comfortable at 155. This is really a vanity round..." yada yada. Even though I did a completely protocol round (a shorty), I think the consequence for me of this was when I got to P3, I was SOOOO ready to eat P3 foods that I overdid it on the first day. THEN, even though I went up by almost 5 pounds, I couldn't get my head around doing a cd on DAY TWO of P3. I loved the way I looked and felt and the way my clothes fit at 140 but I wasn't really ready to commit to staying there and all that means for a successful P3. Anyway, FOR ME, I think if I had to do it again, I would make sure that my head was in EXACTLY the right space going into P2 for a final round and that I was fully committed to the plan, vanity pounds or not. You can probably tell that I have been thinking about this like crazy, huh?
Good luck to you both!
Dawn & Shelia
I have to laugh as you both look so beautiful are so curvy and thin,and you still are not happy with yourself.Give yourselves a break my friends.
I would love to look like either of you gals.
I have promised myself if I get to 160 lbs and like the way I look I am not going to try to loose anymore.I am soon to be 64 years old and it just isn't that important to me.I have my last man in life and child is grown and grandson nearly 15,so as long as I look like a normal sized person that is all I care about this late in life.
Enjoy yourself live life .... it's short.BUT just dont gain it back.Now that you have heard from momma Berta I will say bye fore now
Berta,
Great words of wisdom. Well stated.
On that note, it looks like we may be going out of town next week. We may be headed to NC for the whole week. I had originally planned to do P2 for around 35 days, but I might be cutting it short because of our trip. Wednesday will be day 21 on VLCD, so that will most likely be my LDD. So I take my last dose in the morning and start P3 on Friday morning? Or do I dose all day as normal on Wednesday and start P3 on Saturday morning?
I got on it and told me first that I was down 5.5 pounds from yesterday. I mean I exercised yesterday but not THAT much! Weighed again, same thing. Changed batteries. Ah, there we are! The true weight! It was weird to see the low 130's though!
Congrats on being at goal...S'gonna be a whilte till I get there...
Down lbs is still down! Hope it holds for you!
I am very proud of you and how I long to be in onederland!I will make it in about 2 more rounds. I had much more to loose than you. Shucks I still have over a hundred lbs to go.BUT this isn't a race right! I know I've lost inches because my old clothes I grew out of, are fitting very nicely now
Berta, see...the scale is not the overall answer...some of us tend to hold onto H2O alot...and then a drop...glad your loss finally caught up with you!!! Stick with the protocol and you will end up being in onederland!!!
I lost .4 this morning so I'm at 245.0...I ended at 245.2LDW...so .2 below LDW. Hoping to rev up back to 3-4 lbs. lost each week...we shall see
Angela, sometimes you just need a break!!!
I'd really like to lean out a bit more and hope to be able to keep the exercise going while doing another round. I ordered pellets last week, should arrive tomorrow or Wed. I guess I'll give it a go. I ended my last round March 6, so there's been enough time btw. rounds at this point. I am hoping my head really gets into it soon. My heart isn't (yet) but hopefully I can psyche myself up for it over the weekend.
You guys keep up the losing and inspiring!! Thanks!
Hey Julie, I undersand the desire on some level to be done with rounds...but thank goodness for them as they get us closer to our goals!!
Hi Vanna
If your last DD is in the morning then 500cal that day and the next day.It's 2 days. So you could start PH3 Thurs. morning.
Some people go 3days if it's RX HCG.Which next Rnd I am trying because...
I was so hungry this time. I want to see if there is a difference.I don't think I will loose any more lbs than I did but..... I want to see if I can make it the full 40 days.
You are not going to believe what you can eat on PH3 and NOT gain. It's unbelievable.
We are going on vacation(short one) June 5th and I wanted to be on PH3 by then too. Just take it slow in the beginning remember Protein and veggies just more of them.And you can mix them up and use Half N Half and whipping cream, Real full fat dressing, real butter etc.Just watch the sugar and NO Starches. I am sticking with 2 fruit a day. So far mostly strawberries as in PH2.
Have a good time and don't forget to take your scales it's utmost important to weigh every morning!Also they have said be careful of like eggs in a restauraunt as they don't use olive oil or butter.We have a Condominium Rented in Branson(that is where we're going) and it has a Kitchen. So I should be ok on breakfast!(my favorite meal)And I plan to eat Chef Salad for supper.
Wow! Great advice! Thanks Berta! I'm going to have to join your P3 thread soon. Now that P3 is closer, I'm getting excited about it.
Aww thanks I am indeed doing a long round, and it's my first round ever! But that might be the best way to go about it, now that I think about it.. If I did another round, it would totally be only 23-26 days, and it would totally be a vanity round! Ha!
