As for me, upped protein again yesterday and was down 0.5 today. This is an interesting experiment--to eat JUST enough to STS, but not enough to gain. So far I have been between 138 and 139 for 5 days now. I am hoping to keep... it ...right ...there... until at least Friday morning. I still haven't decided whether to make LDD Friday or Saturday. According to WLA 20 effective doses should be Saturday but I am stabilizing very nicely. Thoughts?
In other related stuff, I am a little weirded out by something... I can feel my shoulder blades sticking out. I think I really noticed it because when I lean back in my chair, they hit the back unless I really slump my shoulders forward. Believe me, I am not looking skeletal skinny (I posted pics in the low carb "Success Stories" areas, if you want to see) but this is kind of a new thing. Not bad...just strange. I think it may just be that I haven't been this thin in probably 20+ years so I need to get used to how my body feels at this weight. Anyway, hope everyone is having a great day so far. |

except not!Not an expert, but I'd say you could do either day - if it was me I'd probably just decide on Friday whether or not to go another day. You're stabilizing already, so I doubt the one day will really affect your P3. Feel it out! |

but I tried once on P2. If I cook it long enough to get the flavor out of it then the nutrients are gone too. But that soup was good!!! And I got some celery in me I think I cooked it for a good hour or longer. |

![]() I literally eat for all the wrong reasons. I still feel that way on P2 and get angry because I cannot have stuff. That is what I need to work on. My DH supports me by saying, "you don't need to eat all that food" when they serve you all that food at restaurants. OR when going to a buffet and I get 3 or 4 heaping plates of food. I figure, why not? My DH "why stuff your face just because you can?" I think I should follow his rules ![]() I probably wouldn't be doing another round of P2 if I had. Oh, well. We are a work in progress!!

[QUOTE=Berta48;15675220]CONGRATULATIONS VANNA
SO did you do the LDW? OR did you continue on? Evidentally you didn't go to PH3?QUOTE] Hey Berta, We still haven't heard whether we will be heading down to NC or not, so I thought I'd better wait to get the official word. The longer I can stay in P2 the better. I'd like to lose as much as I can on this round. But as soon as I decide to get to P3, I'll be zipping right over your other thread! |

Wow! I was down 1.5 this morning!!! What? After three weeks, I can lose 1.5 pounds overnight? Amazing!
![]() Last night I came up with a really good dish. I chopped up 1 boiled egg and three boiled egg whites and mixed in 1 T. of Walden Farms Ranch dressing. It was such yummy egg salad! And I ate it on salted cucumber slices. Really good. It was also filling. I couldn't eat the whole thing. My husband ate what I couldn't and he really liked it too! A side note on eggs - both times I ate them for dinner, I was down significantly the next morning. 1 pound the first time a few days ago, and 1.5 pounds this second time. There is something magical about those eggs, I'm thinking! ![]() My mom is going to give me some cabbage today. I am thinking of what I could do with it. Maybe a nice chicken and cabbage soup? Sounds pretty tasty. By the way, I wish I could post more here. I am a freelancer writer/editor/proofreader. I have so much work, but I can only get a little bit of concentration time each day because I have a four-year-old who is now out of preschool for the summer. Between her, my husband who is home all day, and my freelance stuff, my head spins a little with it all. But it's a good problem to have. All of these things/people are such good things in my life. If a little is good, a lot is great, right?! ![]() But I do read every post and love keeping up with all of you. ![]() Welcome new folks! Enjoy your HCG experience. I know I am!

Morning ladies! Happy new decade and whoohoo on the 1.5 down, Vanna!
![]() I was down to my lowest this morning despite increasing protein AGAIN yesterday but a am still under 140 which is my cap. More protein today and we'll see where I am tomorrow to see if tomorrow is LDD or not. Tonight is yoga and I usually retain a little water from it but I'd rather have a higher LDD than a lower--and I am ALWAYS down on Saturday morning. )Everyone have a great day! |

New DECADE!!!!! Barely, but NEW DECADE!!!!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I released .8 today putting me at 179.6!!! Between my cheats & my one break, I have been in the 180's FOREVER!!!! I'm taking a P3 break, did my last dose this morning and will do P3 Sat-Mon, back on the P2 wagon on Tuesday. I'm going out with a friend Saturday & we are having Mexican food. We agreed no chips at the table... I'll have a P3 meal & a couple of Diet Coke & vodkas.I am going to a festival where I know my ex will be but I'm tired of hiding & not going anywhere. I'm looking forward to the music & seeing folks I know. I'm hoping he continues to leave me alone, I'm pretty sure he will. I haven't seen him since I threw him out in March. Be blessed!!! ![]() Last edited by sunflowerintx; 05-24-2012 at 07:10 AM.. |

Good morning all!
all newbies and for all the loses!!!Down .8 this morning - YEA! Plan: Leftover steak Oven roasted broccoli and grilled onions Apple Melba and LCC Cheater alert - I was so hungry this morning - ravenously hungry and could feel my blood sugar dropping - have you ever been so hungry that your stomach talks to you all the way to work? I went through Starbucks line and grabbed a veggie artisan sandwich - I ate it then looked up the stats - this was me holy cow!!! 350 calories!!! I know what your thinking - bread, cheese what were you thinking. I was thinking I had the willpower not to eat the bread but....NOPE! I am doing so good and I know the scale will ding me for that tomorrow...BUT... eating this hot cheesy super yummy sandwich was almost like an out of body experience - it tasted so darn good. I have had this several times and it NEVER tasted this good. That will teach me to look and choose before I go somewhere. Pizza party with DD tonight so I will eat before we go and pack another apple. This is my friday so have a safe and great weekend everyone!! ![]() |

This isn't very nice of me, but I'm gonna say it anway... My ex-husband is almost 44, unemployed & living with his mother. He has chosen not to have contact with our children & is not paying child support either. He does, however, visit the bar 2 blocks from our home several times a week. The woman he is seeing (mooching off of) is, um.....very manly. I suppose desperate times call for desperate measures. In all honesty, I don't give a hoot what he does, but I do want some MONEY! Kids are not cheap!Back to being nice...just needed to vent! ![]() I'm still quite a ways from goal but I feel so much better & my diabetes is doing well too! One other thing that I wanted to mention here -- this is truly turning into a re-shaping round for me. I am only about 2 pounds lower than where I ended my last round but I had gone out and bought new clothes at the time and those clothes are now really kind of hanging on me. I know that I have lost inches in weird places like my calves and wrists that I haven't lost in the past. Anyway, it's real--the re-shaping thing. I'll pop back into my hole now...I'm sure y'all are sick of me...
