My dinner plans: also a hamburger patty! With beet greens and 1/2 a grapefruit. Looks like a lot of us will be digging into some grapefruit tonight!

Good Morning Everyone,
Down 1.6 this morning. I could have done better yesterday...I made a couple questionable choices....I'm fine all day and then at night I'm going nuts because I want something. I started watching some of the videos from the Weight Loss Apocalypse chick. I also downloaded the book but I haven't started it yet. I did implement her hunger scale a bit yesterday and it worked pretty good...till last night when I overrode whatever number I was feeling. I can talk and justify just about anything to myself when I really want to. I always knew I had a lot of food issues....but I'm starting to realize I have A LOT of food issues that need to be dealt with. I've had them for so long that they truly seem normal to me but I know they aren't. It's going to take a lot more than a diet to fix this train wreck lol I guess the fact that I know that is a start in the right direction. Change is hard and I get panicky thinking I can't or won't be able to eat the way I have been..it's been a coping mechanism for sooooooo long. Anyway....have a great day! |

I am officially down 10 pounds this morning! Yay!
![]() In my second week and into my third, I was seriously stalled out. My sister, whose been doing rxhcg over the last year or so, asked me a bunch of questions to try to figure out what was going on. Well, we figured out it was the P2 chili. I had stopped measuring my spices and was putting way too much in there. All the spices have calories and really added up. That plus the onion in the recipe was just too much. I eliminated the chili and almost immediately started losing again. In the last three days, I've lost 2.5 pounds. The bummer is that if I had been more concientious about it, I could have been losing that whole time and I probably would have a bigger weight loss. Grrr. ![]() But I am happy to be 10 pounds lighter and I will focus on that! ![]()

I am back for R2! My LDW last round was 227.0 and today on R2D1 i was 231.4.
I had kept the weight off all along p3/p4 but my hubby deployed last week and i am an emotional eater and gained some. But I am getting back on track and hoping to make it as close to goal as possible before he comes home. This forum always helps me stay on track. Good Luck, Ladies! ![]() |

![]() Right?! That's what I said! Sometimes I feel like they mock my diet a little, but I tell myself that at the end of the month I'll be the one laughing ![]() I'm glad you could figure that whole thing out about the P2 Chili! Now you know for the future! Quote:
I'm trying to make sure that I learn to eat what I need and can stop eating, no matter how delicious it is. And that I don't need to eat just cause stuff tastes good!If you can focus on finding outlets other than food and making those your new habits, you'll be farther mentally than even Dr. Simeons himself would have taken you! I wish you all the best on your journey ![]() --- Day 33/43 for me - I just realized I only have a week left of injections Weighed in at 167.5, so much better than yesterday! Oh scale, how silly you are ![]() I hope everyone feels at peace with themselves today and has a great, productive day! Cocoa |

I could have kissed the scale this morning!!! I released 1.4 pounds putting me at 180.4 and exactly 21 pounds released. I FEEL so much better!!!
At my highest weight I couldn't imagine being 40 lbs from a normal weight, and now I can see that it's possible...makes a girl hopeful! I've gone a bit rogue...I made some delicious chicken & celery soup & apparently my body likes celery! I am having that stuff again today.... I went to the gym last night and did 5 miles on a 3-5 resistance on the recumbent bike. The movie in the media room was "Race to Witch Mountain." I could have exercised all night watching Mr. Dwayne Johnson! ![]() Have a beautiful, BLESSED day! ![]() |

Mmm Sunflower, you're making me want some celery! Which is a rare thing, as I went about 2/3 of the way through P2 without touching celery..haha.
Tiffany - heck yeah, girl! Welcome! |

newbies!! Glad to have you here. Down .4 this morning - ![]() Plan: chicken breasts tomato 1/2 grapefruit Melba and LCC Dinner last night was great - hamburger patty with mustard and a lettuce and tomato salad. I did my dressing again. Dessert was yummy - strawberries, SF choc syrup and a spray of whip cream. It wasn't a full pound loss today but I expect it was a combo of things - the body butter I put on that morning, not enough water, dressing on my salad and the extras on my last fruit/dessert! So today back on strict plan. Happy losing everyone! ![]() |
