If this trip materializes, I'll be over there in a few days! I hope it does because it would mean another job interview for my husband. He lost his job 2.5 years ago and hasn't been able to replace that full-time job yet. He's done projects here and there, but this economy is preventing him from landing a full-time job. We're praying it works out.

I was down a pound today. I've lost almost 10 pounds for my first round! Even though I was stalled out for quite some time, it's still amazing to me that I'm losing so quickly. This is really great! Love HCG!

Morning all! I see a few losers
checking in here...WTG! ![]() Vanna - I can SOOOOO relate to your DH's situation. DBF has been there for almost a year now and is really struggling to find something too. Crossing fingers for you! I am humming along steady here with a 0.2 loss yesterday. Upped my lunch protein to 4.25oz and my dinner to 4 but I still had some really bad moments yesterday. Not hungry exactly but really weak, out of breath, and shaky. I think I may be getting to the end of my abnormal fat here (could it possibly be??? ) and my body is telling me no more, thanks! Going to up protein for lunch again to 4.5 and keep dinner the same. For the record I am taking in right around 600 calories daily, so not a whole lot more. I skipped my workout this morning in hopes of it helping how I feel today and absolutely no hot yoga for me tonight--I think that would kill me! Hoping to level off by Friday within the same pound. If I do, Friday will be LDD. If not, it will be Sunday and I will go right up to the regulation number of days.

Hi everyone!
Down another lb today - yea! ![]() Dinner was steak and asparagus and 1/2 grapefruit - I did have a 1tbsp of 57 sauce and 1 tbsp of ketchup. The steak wasn't that great but I cant blame anyone but the chef - ME! lol. Plan today: chicken breast broccoli an orange Melba round (gotta run out and get some LLC today) Still have a chocolate craving - what about fat free sugar free chocolate pudding or a SF fudge pop? Anyone had those? All help greatly appreciated. Have a great day ya'll ![]() |

Hi All...Had a lovely 60th bday celebration for Dh with friends yesterday---ate P3 legal...not P2.
Up 4.2 lbs... And I'm ok with that...since I knew it would be up when I ate the things I chose. and now, back to my regularly scheduled P2-POP channel... |

Congrats, you losers
![]() Vanna - I wish all the best to your DH! This economy totally blows. Shelby - sounds like you have a good plan, I hope you feel better today! Although being at the end of your abnormal fat stores is definitely not a bad thing ![]() Tky - if you really need to satisfy the chocolate monster, maybe make Dawn's smoothie with the spinach, cottage cheese, strawberries, cocoa powder, and sweetener? And have that for dinner? It could help jt_gmotu - aw I'm sorry about the gain..you'll probably lose it again really quick. I gained 1.5 pounds this morning from yesterday and I was totally on protocol! I'm telling myself it's just a temporary flux, but I hate how scales make even rational people go nuts ![]() Well, I'll still be on protocol today, so hopefully my weight will go back down! Have a great day y'all! |

It's so validating to see those nice losses, isn't it? If you like ketchup and steak sauce, have you tried the Heinz reduced-sugar ketchup? No added HFCS or sugar. Sweetened with Splenda--not the greatest but better than HFCS or sugar! Tastes exactly like regular ketchup. Also, Walden Farms has great bbq sauces that would be nice. On the chocolate, I'll go back to the Walden Farms again. They make a chocolate sauce and a chocolate dip that are both decent on fruit (apples or strawberries, of course!). I have also taken my strawberries, sprinkled them with about a tablespoon of cocoa powder and my regular amount of sweetener. Tastes like chocolate strawberries. ![]() I would absolutely NOT eat the puddings or pops. They do have calories (usually 40-60 each) and they are definitely not protocol. They are also a slippery slope for ME because I have trouble just eating one (processed foods always do that to me). YMMV though. |

LOSERS!!! I love it!
![]() I'm only down .4 today but happy I didn't gain more from the weekend fiasco! Last dose is Thursday morning & I will be on a P3 break until Tuesday. I would love to squeeze in just under 180 but we shall see. I did 25 mins on the treadmill last night...just a little over a mile but at a 6-7 incline (trying to find my booty! ), and 20 minutes on the recumbent bike. I love working out in the media room, last night's movie was "Anger Management." I have the Brazilian Butt Lift videos which I will use closer to goal. I also tanned and did some sauna time. My teenager is giving me issues....*sigh* She has been such a good girl for the most part. I think this is karma for what I did to my parents... ![]() Cocoa - I think your scale is BROKEN! ![]() BE BLESSED! ![]() Last edited by sunflowerintx; 05-22-2012 at 09:10 AM.. |

I AGREE
For fun, I went and changed out the battery and it did weigh me at 168 again..but then I stepped on it a second time and was 169. So basically..I need a new scale!I have a second one I use for the body fat % but it tends to weigh me lower than other scales. I think I just need ONE really awesome accurate scale with all the features!! |

I'm sorry to come in here, threadjack your thread, and now I'm gonna' leave . I have done some soul searching, and research (thanks Jodie for the Dukan link-apparently, according to them, even up out of my window I'm at my "healthy weight". ) So, I'm going to slow down, do a CD today and try to shoot for my window b/4 my bday on Sat., and relax for a while. The research/reading I've been doing has a lot of info on good sleep and rest-reduced stress being HUGE to your metabolism. So, that's where I'm going to focus for a while. I know I'll eventually decide to lose a bit more, and hcg will be here. I am going to enjoy my break for now though and rebuild. Thanks for sharing your experiences and I wish you all much success!!

And it's always a pleasure to see your pretty face, whether you're on a round or not. Do stick around the board--even if it's just in the rogue section! And if you ever get to SoCal LA-area, you'd better look me up! ![]() Quote:
I have a Weight Watchers brand that weighs in 0.1 pound increments which I like, instead of the more common 0.2 (and those are NOT ounces people but tenths of a pound! My OCD cracks me up sometimes! ). I've found that many bodyfat scales are wildly inaccurate, especially if you are usually well hydrated. I got on one here at work (body composition competition--don't ask!) and it showed that my bodyfat was 42%. I may not be in the sub-20% range, but I can guarantee that I am closer to 20% than 40%. |

Cocoa - Just type in Tanita at Amazon & you will see tons of them. I want to say I paid around $75 for mine & I love it. Mine measures in .2 increments. It's been very trustworthy but it's lower than my dr's scale at her office.

I am so loving' this Vitamin Water Zero Drive - blood orange and mixed berry - tastes like orange crush when it is ice cold!!! YUM!! Good for when I just don't want water. Got a few other flavors to try also. This one has a little caffine to get me through the afternoon.
Found some sugar free chocolate syrup from Hershey - says less than 1 gram of sugar for 2 tbsps so I think I will try 1 tbsp over my berries tonight. Maybe a spray of FF whip too. There is cake in the breakroom and I am staying right here in my little cubbie - homemade lemon chiffon. Doesn't that sound good though? Lucky me no birthdays unti August and its mine so I don't have to worry about making a cake and having it in the house until October. Think cupcakes for exactly the number of guests so there are no leftovers. ![]() |

Totally forgot to share my very yummy accident. I had chicken breast and raw broccoli so I heated them up in the microwave until the broccoli was steamed. I put my LCC garlic and herb flavor on top, put the lid on and went back to my cube. Well it melted and so I stirred it up. The chicken was juicy so that with the cheese was amazing! OMG what a great dinner - tasted like alfredo sauce. I ate my melba dry but it was like toast to dip in the leftover sauce.
I know the LCC is rouge but if anyone wanted to mix it up a bit and have a creamy low calorie dinner give it a try. Also I found a generic brand of LCC from Tom Thumb that was 5 calories less so one wedge is only 30! Tonight it is a lettuce 93% lean burger with mustard and tomato as a side. I am kinda excited because I haven't had one yet. What is everyone else having for dinner? |

But will have to wait. I don't do broccoli or cheese on P2. Thanks for the idea, though. Maybe when I hit goal and need to add in calories I can do this. Haha, I can only hope to add in calories ![]() seeing as I am not even to my stats to the left yet. I am having shrimp and a cucumber with 1/2 a grapefruit for dinner. It is so hot here (in the 80s) that these clean foods are feeling so refreshing. I had my melba earlier in the day so just sicking with those tonight!
