TODAY 172.8........ Im on R1P2 day 14. My total loss thus far has been either 7.6# or 6.6# (depending on the day.....)
I'm eating my 500 cal/day fruits and veggies too.
I am drinking at least 90oz water daily.
Sample
B- Tea
L- chx brst - asparagus - apple

Any advice or suggestions to get me off the see saw would be appreciated!
TY

What type of tea? The only thing I can see is maybe your body does not respond well to beef/cabbage? The program calls for only having it twice per week. Some can have it more, some not. Hang in there. You WILL drop.

How about trying an apple day?

umichrn 05-14-2012 07:32 AM

Thank you both for the replies. I have been eating beef just about daily. I will switch it to just chicken for a couple of days to see if that shakes things up. My tea is herbal (berry) but I can switch that to green. I'm willing to try anything to keep from getting discouraged.
Again thank you

Just a few ideas...

1. how is your appetite? Are your drops rx? homeopathic?
2. I know that on my first round cabbage was an issue, I could only have it 2 times a week. I think it would just bulk me up and stick with me for too long. I didn't have any issue with beef, but with the cabbage.

3. Are you drinking a ton of water?

lexi--she says she is drinking 90 oz of water a day. So that is just fine. I have had times where I go back and forth with my weight. You can either wait it out, or shake things up. Whatever you are up for. If it goes on for 5 days you can do an apple day. I would be so inclined to do one myself, but I am a veteran of hcg and know that they work for me! Shake things up by dropping the beef and if you lose then you know that was the problem. And remember that what you eat can effect you on the scale 2 days afterward. So don't change for one day only and base your next step on just one day's scale weight. Go for 2 days or longer! Good luck!!! You are doing so well!!

I'm on R3. All have been long rounds. This is the first round where I had one week where I had 7 straight days of losses (ever)! I have consistently been down 1-2...then up 0.6, then down 1, then up 0.2, etc.
Believe me when there have times I've been pretty frustrated...even thought I know I've drunk 1/2 my weight in ounces of water...and no caffeine beverages and no salt...and eaten on protocol. It's just the way my body has worked on this program. You may be similar...and then again, it could be just this round...you don't know...

Hang in there...:console:...stick to protocol, take your hCG and drink your water. You WILL lose your weight. Really.:)

My appetite had been ok. I really had not had the "hunger" feeling until last night. So, to keep from doing anything wrong  I went to sleep. I feel fine today.
I'm on hhcg drops.
I'm holding on the beef and cabbage and see how I fare.
Thanks Lexi

umich - how is it going? I know my last round was quite frustrating. I found what works one round doesn't always work the next and that include food etc. Also, so weeks are better then others. You know I also noticed this last round that while I didn't have the big losses like my first 2 rounds I lost a lot more inches (or should I say I noticed the inch loss more as I was fitting into the next size down for pants). So hang in there.

Hoping you moved past the weight you were stuck at.
