Dawn - made me laugh....I so relate there are days I love the bathroom!
We did go out....we both looked at each other and said ...Fruit = wine.....then we both said, well I only had one protein and one vegetable today! So we both had two glasses of wine, will see what tomorrow brings. Social was great.....it was held at a health spa and they had a full plate of raw vegetables and a great hummus without oil, it only had lemon and garlic......oh my gosh! so raw green beans, a small tad of hummus and 2 glasses of wine....but I feel so like I made a choice that was within the WLA - hunger, satiation and choice and ...we will just see if I feel same tomorrow morning as I do the weigh in ritual. Pee and then weigh, walk around house take hormones, pee and weigh again, and then maybe weigh again and take losest weight to record for day.........I do feel human about the evening. Know that sounds strange, but while I was dictated by P2 protocol, and strayed, I still allowed my inner voice to speak to me about the choices I wanted to make for the evening and social environment and I did not get carried away by choices, such as a fabulous baked brie with a berry sauce, or stunning desert that was all creamy and inviting....instead I made my substitutions and loved the green beans and wine and had a great time. I think it was a success! |

OH, yeah!!! I think you did alright. If it were me, I would have gravitated right on over to the dessert table. Good job on your choices. Hope I do well tomorrow. We are going out to lunch and the one who is taking us wants to go to the all you can eat buffet
I plan on some salad (lettuce) and plain chicken--they usually have chicken with no sauces there. Hope to stick to it!I have lost my load weight. WooHoo. Now it is onto new pounds for this round. Looking forward to it! |

Congrats on losing load weight....I think that is the scariest part, but then you feel you are on your way.
My vial is empty and tomorrow I will be officially on P3 - also when I am going out of town for 5 days to visit my sister and daughter.....leaving the 3rd and back on the 11th, but will try to weigh in every morning, that will help to keep it real So I will be right there with you....let's see if we can make the choices that are good for us in the long run, and not for the moment. 186.5/156.8 = looks like 30 pounds-ish this round....goal to stabilize and do another round in August if my head is on straight! Goal is 127 - so have another 30 lbs to go |

start P3 - but have the 3 days still on protocol....feel good am down to 155 this morning, fly out tomorrow. Just got done reading the book Fit2Fat2Fit, great read......taking a copy to my sister and daughter when I go visit. One of the essential tools he talks about in the book is having people around you that support you....so I'm hoping I will receive support while I'm away and not the temptation side of old family habits and relationships. We have always been a foodie family....Im hoping to change it to a nutritional foodie family, and that a special occasion is exactly that and not an everyday thing. Sometimes family members struggle with making the change and adapting to a new you and they can get angry or sabotage you......I'm hoping I can be loving and strong in saying no without drama. Not to say I haven't been a participant all these years and all the more reason this can be a challenge.
